Knowing the Carlos in Yonkers is awesome, decided to try the new one in new Rochelle. While it is small and not as cozy a restaurant as you would like, this place is so much better than Patsy’s, it’s not funny. 12 inch brick oven thin pizza is perfectly cooked. Chicken scarp, delicious. Large portions and everything I saw come out of the kitchen looked real good. Forgot to be given the specials, but service was good. They use I pads to take your order. I’ll be back to try other things on this menu.

Drove up from Bridgeport Ct for lunch this Father and me knew Chris from Rigoletto, s in the Bronx. The restaurant interior is really cool. and the staff is great .I had the pork braciole which was mouthwatering and a side of broccoli rabe and garlic. Big portions, the food was great. Topped off lunch with a glass of chianti and an espresso with Sambuca. Chris is a great kid and I can, t wait to bring my Father. Wish them all the best.

Usually when a restaurant opens up a second restaurant it’s not as good. But in the case of Carlos, it is as good if not better than the original in Yonkers! This restaurant, which just opened a few months ago on Main Street in New Rochelle right across from Salesian high school, is small and narrow but utilizes the space extremely well and is decorated beautifully! The center attraction is a gorgeous Sahara wave colored Italian tiled brick oven which bakes these deliciously perfect pizzas in seconds it seems! But I’m getting ahead of myself here! The Italian fare on the menu is a wonderful selection of house made pastas, hand made pizzas, appetizers, salads, Italian entrees, specialty items, house made desserts and more! We started with a Margherita pizza that was divine with a perfectly synged crust with a great sauce, gobs of fresh mozzarella and basil! We met the manager Chris and it all made sense! Chris has his roots from Arthur Avenue! Worked at Rigoletto’s restaurant for yeas! He is very professional and charismatic and a «working» manager being everywhere from the kitchen to the front of the house the way a good manager should be! This is why this restaurant is a hit! Onto the entrees! I had to try the house made Pappardelle that was al dente with sliced meaty Portabello mushrooms, big chunks of pancetta and nice sautéed bits of garlic in a truffle oil and cream sauce this dish was the kind of food you dream about! The tastes blended together so beautifully! And such a huge portion I had enough for lunch the next day! Of course my constant chicken ParmaJohn had his usual! He has to be the ultimate authority by now! Well he has given Carlos’s a 9 stating the chicken is thick and juicy with an absolutely amazing sauce with plenty of fresh gooey cheesy amazing mozzarella on top with a side of perfect pasta! You see no one gets a 10 since his mom, so this is the highest rating in chicken parm land! Onto dessert! Theirs always room for dessert right? We were presented with a spectacular Nutella pizza with the same beautifully synged crust slathered with Nutella and covered with strawberries and powered sugar! Mama Mia! But wait, there’s more! We also had their homemade amaretto Crème Brûlée with a scrumptious caramelized top and a side of fresh whip! If that was not enough we went into a total food coma with their Tartufo with decadent dark chocolate, pistachio and strawberry ice cream covered by a rich chocolate shell. I ordered my test coffee of Millionaires coffee which they got spot on perfect! Welcome Carlos! We are very, very happy you are here and plan to be back again and again!

Carlos is by far the best restaurant I have been to in a while. Plenty of parking, great service and delicious food served in large portions. You must go there if you want a great meal at a good price.

I had the privilege to have dinner at Carlos and must say that the service, food and ambience was top notch. The owner Pete made sure that his staff provided the best quality service and food at a great price. I highly recommend Carlos to anyone who wants to enjoy a delicious Italian meal.

This place is a lot better and much better priced than Patsy’s! Chris and Tony are great and everyone else is very friendly and you will never be disappointed with the food or service even when it is packed!!! Great job guys! They also deliver !!! The steak and pork dish are very good and the pizza is even better!!! Plenty of wine choices to order from and good pasta dishes and a very good escarole and beans dish!

Awesome place. Atmosphere is really cool, service is great, but the food is phenomenal. Since they’ve opened I must have been here about 8 – 10 times plus another 10 – 12 times for take out. Portions are gigantic & taste just as good reheated too!

Great food but service was seriously lacking. Got to the restaurant at 7:30 with a party of six had called ahead. We were told they were checking on a table for us and then heard nothing for half an hour while the maitre d left the restaurant to argue with someone on his cell phone. Finally sat down and waited another half hour to order. When food came items were forgotten and main courses came at all different times with no explanation or apology. Food was excellent but I would hesitate to return.

I love this place. The staff is super friendly. The food is great and not expensive. The managers are more than willing to bend over backward for you. You can tell allot about a place by how many times people go back. It’s always repeat business.

I’ve been to Carlo’s a few times now, and each experience has been better than the last. Upon walking in, your greeted by the manager, Christopher, who is charming and personable. Even with how busy the place gets, the staff and service is impeccable and the food is amazing. I will definitely be back!

Coconut crusted salmon was amazing! The service however was lacking I was waiting for awhile to get a menu when there was maybe two small tables in the whole restaurant. I really enjoyed it but I wouldn’t go if I was in a rush or really hungry because everything takes a while from getting menus to water. But this a new establishment so that can improve.

Just went here tonight after hearing amazing reviews from friends. I got a margarita pizza, you can see the pizza in the oven which is really cool. It was delicious! I ate every last bite. My boyfriend got the chicken parmigiana and the sauce was so amazing. Also, the service was impeccable and very swift. I would definitely go back there again and recommend it to everyone!

I had a really good experience here! There was lots of energy and nice waiters! Unfortunately, we got a really long wait, about 45 to 50 min, but they apologized and said that it doesn’t happen often and apologized.

Nice & cozy gem in New Rochelle. Their food blows away Modern and Posto in my opinion. Baked clams and pappardelle are out of this world. Haven’t tried their pizza yet, but it does look delicious. Very chill vibe, trendy décor, and friendly staff. Definitely one of my favorite local spots.

I used to go to the Yonkers location all the time but this one is way closer for me. Food was just as good and the place is a bit more fancy than the Yonkers place. No complaints

This is an absolutely phenomenal restaurant. I ordered some pork chops to go last night and they were GREAT! Along with the order, they bundled some really great bread and potato/cheese croquettes. Pricing was excellent, food quality was great and the décor is awesome. This space has been occupied by two other restaurants in the past, but I think Carlo’s is here to stay. The desserts here looked stunning and I am anxiously awaiting to return to dine in. One complaint… cash tips only.

Had a great time at this new hot spot. Great addition to the neighborhood. Came here with 3 other friends last night. BTW, they don’t take reservations. We started our night with a bottle of montepulciano and a couple of starters. We had buratta and pizza as starters. Carciofo pizza is phenomenal! You can never go wrong with anything that has truffle oil. For my dinner I had the blackened tuna with julienne veggies which was delish and I truly enjoyed! Good size and perfectly garnished with lemon basil cream sauce. Dessert was alright. Not crazy for the Crème brûlée, too much egg I guess. I prefer my crème brûlée creamy. The only upside was it’s not too sweet. Tartufo was good and it comes sliced, ideal for sharing for a group that has small appetite for sweets. I gave 5 stars because the food was excellent, moderate price and ambience is great. I give 4 for service, only because they didn’t know who gets what when they were serving our dinner. All in all it was a great experience! We’ll definitely gonna come back.
