We used them for our wedding in November and were ecstatic with what was delivered.
Let’s start with my church; although I didn’t order flowers for my church, they delivered and picked up lanterns I had purchased separately to line the aisles of the church. When the doors opened, I kid you not, that was the first thing I noticed. They not only used my large lanterns, but added rose peddles and small lanterns surrounding them and really enhanced my vision. White tule was also used to decorate which was just enough without being tacky. Bouquets and corsages were simple like I wanted and held up just fine.
At the venue, my centerpieces came out beautiful as well. During our consultation, I really gave Bobby and Mildred the opportunity to use their creative talent and they worked with my vision and picked at my ideas to create exactly what I was trying to express. They were all extremely accommodating, reasonable and great to work with. I highly recommend them.

My boyfriend posted a truthful review about this business back in March (which you can see if you look through the reviews (Anthony A. of Greenwich). I was at the event with him and a witness to how unprofessional the service of this vendor was. Anthony had not heard anything back from the owner after phone requests were made for her to call him back to settle the dispute with their services. However, just at the beginning of this month (5 months later) she decided not to call, but to instead send Anthony a nasty email with nothing but slurs and unwarranted venom. He shared it with me and I in turn have sent an email to the business owner who recommended this business to us, with a screenshot of the unprofessional email. I really wish I could post the screenshot here so that all who endorse her could see what they are endorsing, but in the meantime I am posting this review in hopes that she will realize that she cannot bully customers. Especially customers like us who «paid in full» for her poor service. If you happen to be considering this business, you are doing so at your own risk.

i recently received a nasty message from mildred after 6 months ago writing a review about flowers i had never received on valentines day. it is now august and she just wrote me a message saying she feels bad for anyone in my life and that she can provide me divorce flowers when i get kicked to the curb. how unprofessional and rude, i am in shock.

Mildred the owner sent me a nasty message after nine months. Nine months ago my daughter passed away and the flowers that were delivered to the funeral home were half dead and the guy who delivered them dropped them on the floor and proceeded to try to fix it. I spoke to Bobby who works there and he made good on the flowers. I am appalled at the fact that Mildred did not read the full post. Did not ask Bobby about the situation before she opened up her mouth. I would never use sutton florist. For a store owner she is rude and unprofessional. She should have read and inquired about the post. Mildred should have offered an apology. I would never use this forest again.

We ordered flowers for Grandmothers 90^th celebration at Alvin and Friends in New Rochelle. The owner of Alvins (Gwen) really sold Flowers by Sutton as being a good local resource. Based on her recommendation we used them. Once we Paid in Full the customer service ended.
First we had to call several times for the payment receipt. Then the flowers that were supposed to be delivered at 12:00 came after the party started at 2:00. They were just dropped at the front desk. We didn’t even know they had been dropped given we were now in a party mode. On the first opportunity I called to speak to owner. I got the manager Bob who Proceeded to apologize and tell me all the reasons why the flowers were late. He promised a discussion with the owner and a call back the following day. That call never came. At end of day I called and got the owner myself Mildred. She Proceded to tell me they needed to talk and Bob was gone. She’d call the following day. That call never came. When I called back the 2^nd time I got Bob. No longer interested in making things right offering no apology for never calling back and still needs to talk to Mildred who you guessed it is out of the office.
Bottom line they have our money and there’s no desire on their part to make any restitution. This is so typical in today’s business climate. I would suggest you find a better option.

Used them for my wedding. Centerpieces were wrong and my groomsmen never got their boutonnières and flower girl didn’t have her petals. When I went to ask for the money back for the boutonnières after speaking to them on the phone Mildred cursed my husband and I. Dropped F bombs on us. Bobby is much better to deal with and we eventually got our money back. I will never go here again and have since told 2 other people I referred for their wedding to go elsewhere.

Sadly I came to this florist well recommended but it fell short. They did not have any pre made arrangements at the store so I either had to wait to trust their design. I asked for a peony bouquet and paid $ 65. The bouquet was delivered but there were only 4 peonies and other random flowers I didn’t not choose.
Make sure you know what you are paying for.

This is one of the best flower shops that I’ve been to on the north east. I’ve ordered several bouquets as well as individual roses from them and have never had any issues.
The prices are reasonable considering the high level of quality that you’re getting. These guys also made all of our floral arrangements for my wedding… I couldn’t be happier.

Bobby is the best always has the freshest flowers very friendly. You wont go wrong with Sutton Florists.

My husband and I had a date, a color pattern and ideas of flowers, but Bobby and Mildred did all the rest to make our day gorgeous. Our wedding day was bright and popping of color thanks to the fresh, hand-​picked floral selections. The church flowers, bridesmaid bouquets, mothers and grandmother bouquets touched my heart and my bouquet arrangement was exactly what I dreamed of. It currently lives in tack in my living room. Daily my bouquet reminds me of the attention to detail and care Sutton Flowers gave to the floral décor on our wedding day. Thank you for making our day special and beautiful.

I’ve been ordering flowers from this place for years and they never disappointed me. My daughter decides to use them for her wedding and people were coming up to raving about the flowers. Use this place! They are reasonably priced and the friendliest people you’ll ever find. Bobby is truly an artist.
