My most favorite park!!! I come here with my boyfriend at least once a week(even during winter, yes! I’m just in love with this park). I love the view from the park and the nice little castle! It’s a great place for picnics and short walks. Their restroom is pretty clean.

Been going here for 34 years! So they have two play areas for kids, a larger one and then a smaller one that are both cool. They also have the historical castles that are always fun to look at. There are various statues around the park that we enjoy. There is also a beach which is closed during winter of course but accessible in summer. Not like jones or Robert Moses but good for a local day. Plenty of grass to picnic along with grills if you want to bbq. Large parking lot so you are always guaranteed a spot.

Yea right. Park for west chest people only. Is this for real? I live in Greenwich, just imaginary line between Greenwich and westchester county, why do I need a friend who live in westchester if I want to visit the park? No wonder there were only 8 people here. The park is beautiful and quiet, can be good for many peaceful activities. 5 stars for the beauty of the park, 0 stars for the limitations.

Love it here! Picnic areas, Park provided BBQ grill and benches! You can launch your jet skis or boats here! Open areas and mini-museum! Open spaces and volleyball courts(bring a net)! It’s a great spot to ride your bike or just walk around. Bathrooms are well maintained! Parking is $ 4 if I remember correctly. It can get expensive if you don’t but a seasonal pass and you want to go to the man-made beach. I’ve been to the beach once and really didn’t enjoy it all that much(clay bottom makes for slimy feel under the water). It was $ 50 a person without the pass. The fact that you need a license showing that you are a Westchester resident is not a bad thing! It keeps the park less crowded and more for the residents that live here and their friends and family! If you know someone that lives in Westchester pile everyone in the minivan and go visit! Enjoy!

Loved this Gem, could not think of any other synonym for this miraculous place. A group of like 10 came to watch the July fourth fireworks with a friend of mine. She knew about this place and invited us. So we came. When we arrived, the water was sparkling and everything looked so organized and nice. My friends and I were completely stars trucked by volleyball courts. We never knew such greatness existed so we spent our time playing volleyball and playing with my friends pets. Until the fireworks began. OVERALL the experience was very nice and would like to come again.

Our group had to show a Westchester license address. Luckily someone had one. We paid to park and it was mobbed. Blasting boom boxes everywhere and if you want to sit on the actual beach– there’s another fee. Lots of Quinceaneras with grills going so there’s that. Not open on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Perfect spot for a walk, hike or a place to sit and meditate on a beautiful day. Despite the amazing weather, there were only a dozen or so people in the park. Beautiful views into the harbor, the marina and Long Island sound as you walk around the park.

Lovely unpopulated destination for quiet winter jogs. I used to miss my runs around Central Park’s reservoir, but this is so much better: no ugly fencing and a wide-open view of sunsets on the water. The geese have an attitude problem, however. I try not to take it personally.

I’ve been to this park on a couple of occasions to take pictures of couples for their weddings and/or engagements. Its got some great photo ops with the little stone castle and tower. The grounds are relatively clean, and quiet. Parking is $ 5, but the attendant, gave me a break and let me park free. They also have a restroom nearby too. They also have a boat launch and dock.

Take my jet ski out from the boat launch over here, beautiful park but the ramp gets a little messy at low tide. Can’t complain though, better than hauling it down to the Bronx to Launch and it never gets too crowded
