New Rochelle location is horrible with customer service … It takes at least 25 min or more to get your order deplorable! Delivery you can forget it ! Your food is cold and nasty by the time the driver gets to your house ! And then gets a attitude when you don’t tip maybe REALLY ! if you didn’t get there 45 min or more the. Customers would tip you ! Management needs to really come in and observe what’s going on …

The wings are wings. I come here because it’s convenient and I like chicken. The customer service can use an overhaul. I’ve gotten good service and I’ve gotten horrible service. It’s luck of the draw depending on who takes your order.
There is a young lady that works here that is, as I type, on her cell having a personal, foul-​mouthed conversation. I take it she’s on her break because she’s eating but she is sitting out front where the customers sit and being 100% unprofessional. The young man that took my order was very helpful and suggested a combo that was exactly what I needed. Thank God I didn’t get her to help me. I had her take my order last time and I had to repeat the entire thing because she was so inattentive.
I will be back because I like chicken and there’s is good.

Flavorless wings and bad service, on phone and delivery. What a shame. My coworkers were always bragging about Planet Wings so I went ahead and gave it a try. Nasty and dry wings. Should have probably went to another location

I wish I could review Planet Wings separately for pickup, because my experience is the opposite when using their delivery service.
When ordering pickup, the wings are prepared fresh and fast. Usually ready within 10 minutes after ordering. By the time I get home, my wings are still piping hot and the fries are too hot to eat. The wings taste great and the service inside has been stellar (this couldn’t be further from the truth on my first visit inside, about a year ago).

Best wings on the planet? I think you’re tooting your horn too loudly.
They taste pretty ordinary, the Jamaican jerk wasn’t spicy at all. The roasted garlic tasted like sweet and sour? I wish they gave me bleu cheese instead of ranch sauce for the celery. I would go for the regular wings instead of boneless because it tasted artificial. They give a very generous amount of sauce, my wings were drowning in it.
I’m glad my order was free courtesy of belly bites because it wasn’t good enough to be paid for.

WOW, the best!
I often order delivery. Online ordering is SUPER fast and easy. I prefer this because I have annoying requests like extra pickles, or well done fries.
Prices are reasonable.
Wings are AWESOME. I would eat these every day if I could. If someone said that buffalo wings had health benefits, I would order every day.
Burgers are huge and fresh, and made exactly how I ask when i order online. Cut in half, extra pickles, etc.
I also often get the breaded chicken sandwich on a portugese roll cut in half, and it’s always so fresh and good. It makes 2 meals for me.
The greel tzaziki sauce is awesome, i gladly pay extra for this. Great on my sandwich or to dip fries.
Apps are standard, no complaints. Jalapeño poppers, mozzarella sticks, onion rings — all good.
RECOMMEND.
In the afternoon, delivery is so fast, I have not been made to wait more than 20 – 30 minutes for my food, which is phenomenal. Once we did order at night and we waited so long that the food was cold, but they refunded me for the food that was inedible. This was a one-​off since I never have had issues otherwise.

a good place for lunch. prices and customizable wing orders are both great. my food was hot. Will order again for sure. Wings were delicious and they give you a good amount of curly or regular fries. plus the have a lot of flavors i love the paramsean pepper or lickin lizard

I usually come here for the boneless wings. Theyre good, nothing big really. Love their curly fries with buffalo. But i was disappointed tonight because i placed an order for pick up, a wild buffalo salad and no when i got home it was just lettuce, grilled chicken, croutons… No sauce. I could have really just done that at home out lettuce and chicken togethar. I called planet but all they said was sorry. Mind you im there maybe once or twice a week. No refund nothing

This has had to been the worst experience I have EVER had with delivery– my order took over 1 hr and 45 minutes to arrive at my house– I called multiple times and all they did was offer me $ 10 off my next phone order– AWFUL!!!

Live 1 minute down street took over hour for delivery. Then they forgot a drink. said it was in the car and left. Had to call to the store to get my drink. Worst delivery service ever. Pick up only.

Not a 5 star restaurant but a good place for lunch. Combo prices and customizable wing orders are both great. Site says an hour wait time which some reviewers missed, but my food was hot. Will order again for sure. Wings were delicious and they give you a good amount of curly or regular fries.

Very disappointed! ordered in and notices that a partial part of my order was missing. Called to let them know and the manager was not helpful at all. His statement was «I trust my drivers!» The Driver lied. Manager did not provide a credit or a solution. I will no longer be conducting business with Planet wings in New Rochelle. I guess the customer is not always right. We even Tipped the unethical delivery man.

As has been mentioned here before, there are limited delivery options in Westchester and so with hesitancy, I’m giving an Ok rating to a place that would otherwise be less than average. I find satisfaction in the chicken burrito. I’ve ordered it twice and it was fresh enough. I have also ordered wings which aren’t bad, but are a bit overcooked. The last few times that I ordered, my food came in a timely manner and I was satisfied enough to order again. I like that they attempt to offer variety. I would say to try it in a pinch.

My first experience was my last experiences here. So digusted with my orderni placed. I ordered chicken taco salad this was the worse taco salad but worse of all was the lady bug that was in my bowl as im eating… I will never get food from this place again. Waiting for management to contact me for my complaint.

Wings are decent everything else is pretty horrible. Do not ask for the «free nachos» that they offer for orders over 15 $ soggy and tasted pretty offensive. guess that’s why they are free.

Don’t know who Fred is. I have had the burger here multiple times never did I get it with cheese wiz. Wings are still out of this world. I think Fred should stick to dominos more his speed.

2016 UPDATE
They’ve gotten much better about accuracy of orders. I don’t order the david’s cookies because they never make the one I want and they just substitute one without asking. I never call, using the online order system (which costs $ 1 for delivery – but the delivery guy doesn’t get that $ 1). However I get to order exactly what I want, BUt when I’ve been in their they have handled phone calls better than I’ve seen in the past (leaving them on hold until they hang up).
And the CHipotle philly steak is great. Big sandwich. Easy to fill up on just half.

This place definitely suffers from management issues. If I focus on that it would be a 2 – 3 star review. I avoid some of the issues by ordering online, which costs a $ 1.
I do love their sauces. Hot Gourmet garlic (I think they taste mild), Leapin’ Lizard (asian sweet and hot), Sweet & Sour (like apricot rib sauce), Sweet and Tangy (like a carolina BBQ sauce, mustard based), butter garlic, Chipotle BBQ (very dark, smoky) are the favorites I always return to. I didn’t like teriyaki, or roasted garlic BBQ at all.
I had the gyro, it was meh. I’ve had much better from a great street cart, so that was not gonna cut it for me. I like their salads. I often get boneless in some sauce and toss them into the salad. I like the jamacan beef patties. Basic, but good. I had the philly with mushroom and onions. It was okay and satisfied my craving for the moment. I’ve been to philly and the cheesesteaks there are no better than a good place in NYC. Such hype. Their nachos are decent and can be generous. Fries are good, cheese fries too.
They now carry David’s Cookies. Their previous cookies sucked. My favorite is the SMores.
Simply put, I primarily enjoy the wings and have ordered from here countless times for the flavors.
Now for the negatives.
Yes, they ABSOLUTELY get orders wrong. And the guy/​owner running the front gets them wrong… so don’t expect that problem to go away. I’ve corrected him when he didn’t include the items it was his responsibility to include. For delivered orders I’ve had missing cookies (repeatedly), missing soda, wings that should have been in two sauces, done in one (repeatedly). It happened so many times in a row I thought they no longer offered splitting larger orders into two sauces – nope they do it, they just mess up something that often.
I will say the website allows you a lot of customization – including how crispy you want the wings, how much sauce. I usually get the wings cooked crispy the way I like and if I request a level of sauce I usually get it. If you don’t specify, I find it is totally random. I always customize nachos and salads and get what I order on those. For that and the ability to avoid the guy ignoring the phone, I always use the online ordering.
They DON’T answer the phone. I can tell you I’ve stood in front of a guy who is a manager/​owner and saw him pick up the phone, put the people on hold then work orders and take orders from customers for several minutes until the people hung up. The phone would ring and he’d do it again – ignoring the phone until they gave up. So I guess he isn’t fond of phone orders. And I’ve been put on hold until I gave up. I’ve had the phone ring and ring. This is why I never call and only use the website.
Clearly he’s not hiring enough staff to handle the business properly.

If you like your boneless wings hard as a rock and no sauce even when you ask for extra then this should be your go to spot! Stick to the bone in wings.

With excruciatingly limited delivery options in Westchester we’ve ended up ordering delivery from this place at least a dozen times, and literally EVERY SINGLE TIME there has been something wrong with our order.
We’ve had the following errors in our order more than once, and sometimes multiple errors in one order:
–ordered boneless wings, they delivered regular
–ordered regular wings, delivered boneless
–asked for sauce on the side, wings were swimming in about a bottle full of sauce
–paid for extra sauce, they delivered no sauce at all
–asked for ranch, delivered blue cheese
–paid for extra ranch/​sauce, they charged us and delivered neither
–drinks were charged, but not delivered
–wrong drinks were delivered, returned with the driver, and not refunded
–items were substituted without asking, and they charged us anyway
–items missing from order, money not refunded
–wrong order delivered – literally, the entire order was someone else’s – and it took them more than an hour to bring us the right food, this after already having waited more than an hour for the wrong food to arrive in the first place
–and best of all, delivery consistently takes more than an hour and the food arrives cold every time. What, is the driver going on half-​hour smoke breaks between when he picks up the food and arriving at our house only a mile away?!
We’ve had conversations with the manager about all of this multiple times, and each time he lures us back with a sincere-​sounding apology, sob stories about how busy they are (I’m sorry, your one job is to make and deliver food; if you can’t do that then why are you in this business?), promises of improved service in the future and coupons to use toward our next order.
Never. Again.

I’ve only had wings from this place and they’re meh. They’re cheap, which is nice, but they don’t taste good, they’re not cooked well and the sauces taste like crap (this is the biggest knock against their rating).
I’ll just go to Candlelight the next time I want wings (which is rare).
