Radisson Hotel – New Rochelle

I stayed at the Radisson for three nights for my wedding Jan 17^th. To say that I had a wonderful experience is an understatement. From the moment I booked the blocked rooms for my guests to the checkout, I was taken care of like a longtime friend — nott just a patton. Mike helped me out with reserving extended hours for my guests to enjoy the bar/​lounge at NoMa and we all had a great time there and everything was seamless. He went above and beyond to make sure everyone was taken care of. Glenia and Morgan took care of making sure my blocks and guests were accomodated and even helped me when I misunderstood a few details of my reservation. This is one of the best hotel vists Ive ever had. They take great care of the aesthetics of this hotel and guests experience. Thank you for making my wedding weekend amazing!

DONT USE THIS AS YOUR WEDDING HOTEL! I picked the Raddison as the hotel to block rooms off for our wedding. At first things seemed great, we sat down with the sales manager and told her we had a big wedding and needed a good amount of rooms. We went with a block of 20 although we were nervous it may not be enough. The manager assured us that she thought it was a good amount of rooms and that if we have a lot of people booking early, it should be easy to add rooms to our block. As of now it is 5 months till the wedding and our block is full. Friends and family have been calling being told that there are rooms still available in the hotel that weekend but none in our block. I spoke with 2 managers both said that they could not extend the number of rooms in our block. They keep saying the hotel is full, even though multiple staff members have told friends and family that is not true. We have already paid and set transportation for only one hotel location. My finance and I will now start to advise our family and friends to cancel their reservations at the Raddison and we will book with another hotel. OVERALL VERY UNACCOMIDATING!

Not so good. I was willing to give this review a 3 based I the fact that we were not able to access the hotel restaurant due to a work company party. The sleep number bed went flat. It was $ 15 to rent a movie and the tv remote hardly worked. The staff at the front desk were the saving grace of the experience. However my rating has dropped to 1 star because I have called the front desk and general manager and left messages asking for them to check for my eye glasses. I have not received any return phone call days later.

Rooms are the furthest things from soundproof. Our room was right above the nightclub which provided for a wonderful and sound night’s sleep (kidding). In addition, you could hear every single person who walked down the hallway. Sleep numbers beds are an excuse for a fancy air mattress. Overall poor experience.

Customer service here is embarrassingly bad! Lack of professionalism and even basic courtesy at all levels of service from the front desk to the restaurant. Maybe an issue of training or just individual personalities but management needs to reign it in and remind staff to treat guests as they would want to be treated.

We were assigned a room on the 2^nd floor. It is 11:00 pm and music from the lounge downstairs is pounding through the floor. I just called the front desk to ask how much longer this would continue and I was told it will go on until 2:00 am. When I stay at a hotel I’m looking for a clean, quiet, comfortable place to sleep. The room needs fresh paint, the bathroom has no ventilation, and the thumping music from downstairs insures that I can’t sleep. I will not stay here again and I recommend that you don’t stay here either.
Update: In his reply to my review, the Business Manager of the Radisson Hotel asserts that I attended a wedding in the hotel. I did not attend a wedding in the hotel. Furthermore, no matter why I was at the Radisson, the Business Manager should not be sharing my reasons for being a guest in his hotel.

We booked a block of rooms at the Radisson in New Rochelle, NY for our wedding at a separate location in New Rochelle. It was an easy and hassle-​free process (probably the easiest part of wedding planning — as they said so themselves). All our guests were satisfied with the hotel. The representatives at the hotel were easy to work with and were responsive to all our questions. I’d highly recommend the Radisson in New Rochelle for group reservations!

This Hotel is nothing to gawk at on the outside but the interior renovations in the rooms, the lobby and restaurant (Noma Social) and the receptionists make this a 5-​star experience.
Every receptionist has been helpful. Every call has been attended to. Every request for extra plate /​iron /​shower cap /​towels has been fulfilled. Packages have been left carefully in my room.
The rooms have all been renovated in the last 2 years so it’s nice to have brand new fixtures in the bathrooms and lamps, etc. I imagine the carpet is new too. My bed is a sleep number bed which was a nice surprise, and the sheets are super comfy. I also have a weird thing where I hate too many decorative pillows; these pillows are cushy, functional, and I am happy with them. Not much of a view (roads and car sales lot), but the fun modern touches (e.g. animal print chairs) make it a homey room.
Junior, Matthew, and all the ladies are incredibly kind folks, and considerate.
The team gets 5 points on solid good customer service.
Only down points are: gym is itty bitty and doesn’t even have free-​weights. The pool is also small and more or less worthless as it is just fenced in right at the parking lot. And, please, can you install some hooks near the sink and shower so that I don’t have to drape or put a soggy towel on my belongings. Where do you think we are supposed to hang all these fluffy towels? :)
As for value, ⁴⁄₅ stars. It’s a hotel, so the prices are what you expect $ 165-​$ 220

Cute hotel, I like the room décor and the bed is hella comfortable. We were in the area for a wedding so a bunch of us were staying in this hotel. The rooms are small but modern, very clean, complimentary slippers and robes in the room, great shower what else do you need? There is a cute lounge/​restaurant/​bar on the first floor, they serve up great drinks and good breakfast. Pleasant experience, friendly staff.

Very clean rooms and very good service at the front desk. My only problem was that the bed in our room was the worst bed I’ve ever tried to sleep in in my life. It was a sleep number bed. At midnight we had to call down and request another room with a regular mattress. I’ve never been in so much pain trying to sleep on a bed. Thankfully they had a room with double beds regular mattresses.

It has been years since I have had tbe pleasure of the personal and the professional combination in a chain hotel system. The food and service was excellent! The food and beverage manager, Nick Iraci, took the extra care with us and his staff. I would highly recommend this establishment to fellow travels. It was worth the train ride into the city.

Gorgeous boutique hotel feel! Felt like I was in the city while in my room. Everything was so clean and obviously newly renovated. Chic restaurant and bar/​lounge with great music! Best of all is the staff at this place, so polite and accommodating at check in and through out my stay. Nothing bad to say!

I had my October 2014 wedding at the Glen Island Harbour Club and the Radisson was one of the hotels referred to us by them (they are about 5 minutes away from the venue). So glad I chose this hotel over others. I worked with Glenia to reserve a block of rooms for ourselves and our guests. She was very accommodating with everything and always responded quickly to my emails. She even showed me a few different suites to see which kind I wanted. A promo code was given to me to provide to my guests and they found it easy to book their rooms.
I got a suite for 2 nights (night before the wedding and night of). There was a room to sleep in, 2 bathrooms, and a room with couches. The morning of the wedding, our two hairstylists and two makeup artists came and set up to beautify us. The space was big enough for the stylists plus myself, 6 bridesmaids, an aunt, and 2 moms to comfortably get our hair and makeup done. My mom surprised us by ordering breakfast for all the girls. The hotel sent up huge trays of bagels, muffins, fruit, juices, and coffee. Everything was great!
The rooms themselves were clean, modern and looked recently renovated. The beds were very comfy. Check in and out was nice and easy. We requested early check in for one of the rooms so the groomsmen can get ready and we were accommodated without a problem.
They have a restaurant/​bar downstairs named Noma Social (see my review!). My husband and I decided to buy breakfast for all of the guests who booked rooms and stayed over. When we got to the restaurant in the morning, 2 long tables were set up for us. The food was buffet style and everything tasted good. Our waiter was a little strange but he took care of us just fine.

My first impression was this was an awkward hotel… no restroom in the lobby — have to go downstairs and walk through a party in progress to use the restroom! Walls in the guest room were extremely thin — I heard every word from the people in the next room after they woke me up! Sleep # bed was nice but room was dark and doors, walls etc seemed old even though recently renovated. Hotel looked like an office building from the outside — unappealing… I thought it was pricey for the location. The food at party was surprisingly good and the front desk staff was helpful.

Came here for the weekend. I’m a neat freak so I always have to check the room. I must say that the room was spotless. The bathroom was not only clean but was also stocked with linens and toiletries. They had everything at your fingertips.
The staff were very friendly (always willing to help). The added bonus was the sleep number bed (slept like a baby). Stayed on the 6^th floor and the view was great. The neighborhood is pretty good (there’s a movie theater, a few restaurants and the Metro North within walking distance)
Definitely plan on staying here again, and would recommend it to others.

I stayed here for a couple of days since I had a wedding near by. Everyone that worked at the hotel was super nice and made sure we had everything we needed. The hotel was clean and plenty of parking spots. Our room was comfy, clean, modern, had plenty of amenities and small fridge. Also, the location is near the highway and plenty of restaurants. My only complaint is that they don’t have a gym and their pool was closed on a Friday since they are only opened on weekends after Labor Day weekend which sucked.

Nice hotel especially for its price.
The rooms are clean and big except that ours was newly painted and we still could smell the paint.
But everything that i want in a room is there like fridge, a nice tv and adjustable bed.

I stayed for 1 night to attend a wedding at Glenn Habor Cove. The room was nice, the bed was comfy, check-​in was quick and the desk person was extremely helpful. The room was a good size, but the bathroom was very small. The room was $ 300.00 for one night, booked months in advance. A bit of a rip-​off. The hotel was recently redecorated, the rooms and bar/​restaurant are nice, but the building and the hallways look like they are from the 70“s. Radisson’s are nice hotels, but $ 300.00 for a 3 star hotel in the burbs? If I was willing to drive 15 mins further I could have stayed at the Ritz (5 star hotel) in White Plains for the same price. Breakfast was not included, spent $ 10 on a coffee and a bagel with cream cheese, which was good.
Regarding the night club/​noise, I heard it when I was in the lobby, but not in my room on the 3^rd floor. But I’m sure the reviews noting the noise are accurate. Would have rated it 4 stars if not for:
1– the price
2– the fact that 3 days later they are still holding money on my debit card.
