Abundant Health Day Spa

This salon is like my happy place. When you check in, the receptionist takes you back to the relaxation room and offers you a warm neck wrap while you chill for a few minutes pre-​appt. There’s delish fruit-​infused water, hot teas and dried fruits and nuts to snack on while you watch the tropical fish swim around the tank.
I usually see Katie for waxing (she does it all, and I mean ALL) but recently went in for a facial and it was incredible. She asked me all about my skin and what’s going on with it – even adding extra moisturizers because of wintertime dryness — and tailored the facial to my very sensitive, Rosacea-​plagued face. It was soothing and so, so relaxing. She told me everything about each product she was putting on, and described the sensation that may accompany the product (cooling, mild tingles like «dancing bubbles,» warming, etc). It was so thorough and my face felt so clean after. Even after an hour of applying products, cleansing, extracting and massaging, my face appeared much less red even though it normally takes the slightest touch to make me flush like crazy. It was an amazing experience and I will go back for regular facials more often.

Friendly, wonderful environment, terrific and talented staff, clean and fantastic space. Awesome and perfect. What can we say. Deep tissue was wonderful by Tiffany. Will absolutely come back. Small space but well laid out. Loved the sound, smell and atmosphere of the space.

This is a little pearl in NSB. After reading Unilocal reviews and perusing their website, I decided to book online. I had the Signature Total Balance Therapy massage. My therapist was Lynn. She was fantastic. From the moment I was greeted until I left, the atmosphere was lovely. The relaxation room has a beautiful aquarium and included flavored water and tea. I experienced this room before my treatment and after my treatment. The room of my treatment was very cozy and comfortable. The massage table and face cradle were exceptionally luxurious. My treatment included a relaxation massage, foot reflexology and a reiki healing treatment. It was an hour and a half long. I floated out feeling wonderful. I highly recommend this treatment, therapist and day spa. The price is very good considering the level of treatment expertise and comfort of the spa. I highly recommend Abundant Health Day Spa in New Smyrna Beach!

Okay I wish I could remember who worked on me because she was absolutely amazing. Kathy… or Katie.. something like that.
Walking in looks like a doctor’s office and the waiting room could be way more relaxing FOR SURE.
Anyways, I purchased a 90 minute deep tissue massage, a salt scrub and a body wrap. Everything was very affordable and so worth it!
It was my first body scrub but ooohhwee was it amazing. Realistically it’s like a 30 minute exfoliating massage, but it felt like an hour long exfoliating massage. She was so smooth and patient and she knew exactly how to read my body. It was pretty incredible actually.
The body wrap was a clay mud from Alaska and it really left my skin nourished and soft. I didn’t even need lotion for 3 days after which was pretty astonishing. I would highly recommend this especially after a week in the sun this treatment just makes you feel completely moistened and beautiful.
The deep tissue massage was the best I’ve ever had. The best. The kind where you float in and out of consciousness and not thinking about anything at all. Literally. It can be so hard to completely relax even during a massage. I owe this all to the therapist. She really read my body and flowed with what my body needed. Her skill is amazing. I really wish I lived there so I could probably spend all my money getting massages from her.

This location does NOT have the following:
locker room/​place to store personal items, steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, private relaxation area, no outdoor relaxation area of any kind.
If the massage was bad I would have probably been annoyed they didn’t have any of my favorite amenities. After an amazing service I just didn’t even care.

Really loved this place. I visit my Mom in Port Orange and I have been to a few spas in the area, none of which I’ve been terribly thrilled with. I’m so glad I came to Abundant Health, though. It was such a nice atmosphere. I had a deep tissue with Lynne, which was one of the best I’ve had. I’ll definitely be back and I’ve recommended my Mom come as well.

I just had my first visit to Abundant Health Day Spa. It was absolutely amazing! Walking in I immediately became relaxed and was welcomed so graciously. Emily was my aesthetician and I had the most relaxing facial I have ever had. I am 27 years old and have more troubled skin. I deal with acne, scaring, enlarged pores and some wrinkles. Usually I can never really relax during a facial because I am embarrassed with my skin. Emily made me feel totally comfortable and made this my first facial that was fully enjoyable. When my facial was over I couldn’t stop looking at my skin. It actually had a true glow to it. I am forever grateful for Emily and will be back for sure!

In town visiting family, my girlfriend convinced me to go to the spa with her to get out of the house. Having never been to a spa before I wasn’t sure what to expect and truth be told, I wasn’t quite ecstatic about going in the first place. However the staff exceeded my every expectation, they were incredibly warm, welcoming and excelled in their duties. After spending a combined 14 hours in the car the day previous (we came from the DC area) that massage made it feel like it never happened. Never had the spa experience before but after my session at Abundant Health I’m certain it won’t be my last!

My girlfriend & I came here last weekend for a deep tissue massage she enjoyed hers & booked a couple of more visits. My experience was not the same. The therapists wasn’t strong enough to perform a proper deep tissue, her technique had no flow as a result many areas didn’t get the proper attention, she didn’t use enough oil and her breathing sounded borderline asthmatic. This along with too well lit room and being able to hear the nail tech & her clients conversation right outside my massage room, didn’t make for a pleasant experience.

I was visiting New Smyrna Beach for work, and needed a proper deep tissue massage.
I searched Unilocal to avoid places that were primarily nail salons (the smell bothers me.)
The folks at Abundant Health — from the owners to the staff, from my first phone call to my final «goodbye» when I left the spa — were incredibly friendly and accommodating. This is not a pretentious spa; it’s exactly what you’d expect in a beach town/​surf town: laid back, friendly, and helpful.
I got a terrific 75 minute deep tissue massage from Sandy, and a Reiki treatment from Lynne. The cost of both treatments was $ 99 which, considering the time and skill, was a value.
Finally, the new owner is investing in the spa, so in the future you’ll enjoy a new lobby, refreshed treatment rooms, and new furniture in the waiting area. When I’m back in NSB, this will be a stop on my itinerary.

We got a great deal on a couples massage! The staff is really friendly and the massage is excellent. The only bad part is the massage goes by way to quickly!

A fantastic experience from the moment you walk in the door. Very friendly and welcoming staff. I booked a 90 minute therapuetic massage with Lynn and let her work her magic while I dozed off into neverland. The room itself wasvery comfortable with a heated table and soothing music that made me feel like I was taking a siesta at the beach. It tied in perfect with the firm but non-​painful massage. Lynn listens to your preferences and took some extra time focusing on my lower back which I explained to her was a problem point for me. Overall, a great experience to be pampered without feeling awkward or in a stuffy environment that you somtimes experience with spas. I’d highly recommend Abundant Heath Day Spa while in the New Smyrna Beach area.
