History

Established in 2009.

We started out roasting coffee in a storage space and selling our coffee at framers markets on the weekends. In 2011 we opened our retail shop in the historic west side of New Smyrna Beach.

Great experience, amazing customer service and good quality food. I came to try their sweets they did not have any of the time but my experience made up for it. I had their breakfast pizza it was good it had a lot of meat, i could taste the quality of the ingredients, and the sausage the used was phenomenal. On top of that, I was unfamiliar with the area and they went above and beyond trying to help me; and the customer service was just good period. Definitely looking forward to coming back for some sweets.

It’s seldom that I search for a place on Unilocal and find a five star location that reflects your true experience. Well this is one of those businesses. Great coffee, friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, delicious cookies baked on site and coffee ice cubes… so the coffee gets stronger as the cubes melt. Delicious… these Californians will be back! :)

Nice little place on mainland in NSB… Open on Sunday which is how we found it. My wife’s allergies were attended to well. The owner was very nice. The only draw back was the time it took to get the breakfast pizza (which was pretty good!). No bakery on site but the products looked fresh.

I always search 4 a specialty breakfast place that has all of the criteria I would need for sustenance and away to meet locals when I travel. This café offers anyone choices in food that is homemade and the coffee is what separates this local Java House from all of the rest. They actually roast their coffee beans on a daily basis. A small percentage of companies take pride in not only selecting exotic coffee beans, but adding the dimension of roasting says to the public we care about your needs and discriminating tastes. They are not only exemplary in their offerings, but their prices are so reasonable, that you would never think about getting taken advantage of at those franchise mediocre Coffee establishments. Bravo Laurie, keep up the great work and I wish you good fortune and continued success!

Super friendly staff, tasty coffee, and free wi-​fi! This was a great pit stop for me which allowed me to work remotely as I was waiting for my appointment over in New Smyrna Beach. The space is nice, open, plenty of tables, rocking chairs, and even a little livingroom area with more comfy seating. The prices for the brews are super reasonable and they offer a ‘new customer’ discount. Parking is a tad limited, but it was a nice, quiet place to get my caffeine on a rainy day and work.

I am lucky enough to work at the Health Department just across the street from Hottie Coffee, and oh what a lifesaver it has been! From delicious custom-​flavored coffee (hot or iced), frappes and of course the selection of just regular ol’ brewed jo, you just can’t go wrong here. The owners are both friendly, fabulous people and– BONUS! They recently began serving pizza from Panheads (NSB’s best pizza joint!)! Thank you Hottie for keeping my feet from dragging on many a tiring work day!

Everything I was looking for in a coffee shop! Friendly staff, inviting atmosphere, good baked goods, great coffee and wifi. Also has good things that weren’t even on my list: a neat room full of kid books and magazines, and staff that comes around to see if you need a refill. What’s not to love?

I believe in supporting local business (instead of those big chain coffee shops) and continually frequent Hottie Coffee when in NSB. Although I don’t find much personality behind the bar, the coffee is made well and I will continue to frequent this coffee shop.

My wife introduced our friends and I to this coffee house. We had never heard of it; however, it was great! The «house» coffee varieties were amazing and comparable to the high end coffee houses. The atmosphere was very comfortable. You can purchase coffee by the bag or by the cup. They offer treats and teas. It will be a regular place for many of us. A definite recommendation for everyone! This is a perfect place to support local NSB businesses.

The moment you walk in to Hottie Coffee you will smell the inviting aroma of freshly roasted coffee beans. The atmosphere is great and the people who run this delightful little coffee shop are very nice. I had a bag of green coffee beans that was given to me as a gift along with roasting instructions. I decided that the process was too complicated and took my beans to Hotties for roasting. They roasted my beans to perfection. As I write this, I’m enjoying a mug coffee made with my Hottie roasted beans.

Great coffee and espresso drinks. Owner also roasts his own beans which are available to purchase. Friendly staff also. Coming from Seattle, we had a hard time finding good coffee. Were sad to find this place on our last day.
