Tim’s story —

«Teaching 7^th grade Florida history for 3 years and then pastoring a large, vibrant congregation for a long time were vocations I thoroughly loved and enjoyed. I received tremendous satisfaction investing my enthusiasm, knowledge, creativity and communication skills into helping and developing others. I would say the same about my shorter stints as a reserve Air Force Chaplain and adjunct college professor — serving others through leadership, education, and encouragement is what I love.

Now, I enjoy working hard to help people with one of the most important transactions of their lives, the sale or purchase of a home. For me, being a Realtor is not only significant, it is a blast — from using cool emerging technologies to market a home, to riding out the highs and lows along the way with a customer, and best of all, celebrating the closing of the sale and the beginning of a new chapter in my customer’s life.»

Tim is a true native Floridian … he roots for the Miami Dolphins, Miami Marlins, and Miami Heat, grows citrus, kayak fishes for redfish and seatrout, remembers watching Apollo and Space Shuttle launches, has snorkeled from the Florida Keys to the springs of north Florida, reads Carl Hiaasen and Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings, makes key lime pie, park hops at Disney World, isn’t afraid of snakes and alligators, has Radio Margaritaville saved as a favorite on SiriusXm, considers himself a semi-​professional beach bum, and taught Florida history in public school … but — truth be told — can’t surf, golfs poorly, and loves the mountains, too. He has been a school teacher, USAF chaplain, pastor, and professor.

Tim and his wife, Margie, love to travel, kayak, bike, fish, hike, cook, and make wine. They support Friends of the Library, the YMCA, the New Smyrna Beach History Museum, IMAGES Art Far, and New Smyrna Beach High School scholarships and are active in Northland, A Church Distributed.
