We specialize in helping our clients discover, document, and understand indoor air quality and mold related issues. We offer a variety of environmental solutions to residential, commercial and governmental clientele. Apex has successfully addressed an enormous amount of mold abatement and water damage issues. History

Established in 1997.

Apex Mold Specialists began its’ foray into building related mold issues by initially being a consulting and remediation company, specializing in water damage and flood restoration issues. Generally speaking, water damage, if not promptly addressed, creates a variety of mold and bacterial issues on structural and surface materials. The instrumentation and equipment, used to address water issues is also directly applicable to all mold issues. Apex is one of the best equipped mold abatement companies in the ‘tri-​state’ area. In addition, we have the ability to address any of these issues regardless of the size and scope of the project.

As the owner of Apex Mold Specialists, our primary goal is to provide our clientele with the highest level of customer service as well as a very thorough and professional mold inspection, mold removal and water damage services at a reasonable price. In fact, my certifications include IICRC for Water Damage Services, ANDO for microbial remediation and NY State Air Sampling Technician. Apex has been in service for over two decades and pride ourselves in offering our clients the highest level of customer satisfaction.

They were easy to schedule with and were very communicative about the inspection process. He went around my apartment so fast, it almost felt ridiculous, it could be they were just skilled enough to know that I didn’t have mold there and were being very fast but it was a little un-​nerving to see them race through my apartment. They also didn’t tell me a head of time to close all the windows etc. Also the guys really pressured me to give 5 stars on Unilocal,he asked me maybe 10 times and said If i did that he would expedite the test results. The tests results weren’t even ready on that exact day. They are good, I just really really didn’t like being pressured about 5 starts on Unilocal

When I moved into my house two years ago we had an inspection report done that said there was suspected mold in the attic and in the basement. We had our basement renovated and there was in fact mold in there which was removed. I forgot about the mold in the attic and was reminded about it when I pulled the inspection report. I immediately called David and he set up an appointment with me right away. He tested the air in the basement and also went up to the attic. He was very clear about what he suspected and told us exactly what to do. David could have very easily told me that there were large quantities of mold in the attic because that’s what we were led to believe by the initial inspection. Yet, when he went up there, he said there was no mold. The air quality report showed that the air was ok and suggested a follow up visit in 6 months. I am grateful for his honesty and professionalism and that he didn’t take advantage of our suspicions. If more companies were this honest we’d all be better off.

We had a leak in a room with carpet from an old AC unit. Since we didn’t notice it right away the room was very damp and musty, I was having an allergic reaction so was worried about mold. I called Apex and they came the next day. David was on time, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. He right away noticed the dampness and musty smell, but did an inspection testing the air and walls inside and out and said we most likely just needed to air out the area with dehumidifiers. He didn’t suspect mold, and the tests came back confirming. Would recommend.

After my hvac unit in my bedroom leaked, leaving me sick from the mold that grew there over the course of 6 months, I called Apex to come take a look. They were timely and professional, and gave me a comprehensive diagnosis and plan for a «cure» within a few days. After contemplating if it was worth the price to have them remove the mold or do it myself, I decided to hire them, and I’m so happy I did. When my job proved to be larger than they originally thought, they stuck to the original price, and completed the job, leaving my space totally spotless when they were finished. I’m now able to sleep in my bedroom knowing I’m not going to wake up with red eyes and unable to breathe. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering mold removal in the NYC area.

Fantastic, fast and professional service. They came right away, explained everything in detail and made me feel safer in my water-​damaged apartment. At the same time they are honest and do not guarantee any results until the lab tests are done and the report is written… I didn’t expect any immediate results anyway though, because my walls were moist without visible mold or staining. Big thank you to «David» who handled the tests at my place and answered all my questions and concerns and who took the time to even show me how his camera set-​up records accurate moisture levels which are invisible to the eye.

Suspected a mold problem and contacted Apex. They were super responsive and came right away. Explained the whole process clearly and went over everything step by step. Since they are certified i can now use their report to submit any claims to either mu insurance or the management of my building.
