Took a walk in the park with my man friend and thank God his head distracted me from the annoying leash less dogs. Don’t hate me dog lovers… I like dogs but i just like them on a leash in public.
Upon us entering the park we were greeted by barking dogs which made me uncomfortable, but their owners were able to calm them down… AFTER 20 MINUTES!
Anyway…it’s a cool small park where you can hang out, unwind and chop it up… which is exactly what I did. We settled on this park after not being able to find parking in the cloisters… and I wasn’t disapppointed although there is no comparison.

In addition to the reviewer below, this park is very dog friendly! ;) My pup loves this place. Wish it was a bit larger but it’ll do for now.
The hudson statue is currently under construction. Come view it in 2010 for a newer and clean model of henry hudson.

I always wondered where that statue was…
next time you’re driving Northbound on the Henry Hudson Bridge take a look to your left. There’s a huge Doric column with Henry Hudson standing on top. Story is, he’s there to watch over the bridge, river and landscape. We always saw it, but never ventured to it.
A nice place to sit and relax or go sledding!
