The ultimate luxury good consignment shop is Transfer International. Still a little known secret, at this shop you’ll find Bottega Veneta, Commes Des Garcons, Marc Jacobs, Gucci, Prada, D&G, Pucci, Dior, Hermes — you get the idea. The store says get their goods from fashion editors, models, photogs and cashed strapped starlets. Is it true or did these items «fall off a truck» in New Jersey? It’s all a mystery, but, really now, what do you care? The place has been in business for over a decade and all the items are in teriffic shape. Prices? Rarely over $ 100.
