Nothing lower than 1 star? Too bad, they are not that good. Horrible to talk to some other country where the people can only spew the same answers to every problem, answers that don’t help. I ordered 2+ weeks in advance a fairly pricey item for mothers day. NOPE, not going to deliver and the reason is ‘the vendor didn’t ship it and won’t be able to do so in time’. Nifty. My mother lives 6+ hours from me, if I could reasonably take something to her I wouldn’t have ordered from a generic
company. Truly unresponsive and rather dull witted people.

The worst on-​line service ever !! Don’t ever use them !! Not helpful and possibly the least customer friendly on line merchant I have ever used !! After reading the other Unilocal users reviews I think this company is totally clueless when it comes to customer’s satisfaction !!! Refuse to admit they made a mistake but is willing to re deliver a gift 2 weeks past the actual promised date at no extra charge to me !! (despite asking me to pay extra originally for a guarantee delivery date) !!! So yes the worst company ever !! I am a CEO of a wall st trading firm and I am happy to say we have canceled our firm’s account with 1800flowers! As I can’t think of of a more insulting service to used when you actually wants to convey a gratitude or condolences !!

Worst experience ever. Paid for same day delivery and had to call multiple times to check cause online status doesn’t work. Everytime I called I got different answers but no one can manage to deliver those flowers. Will never use this company again.

Worst company ever. 1 – 800 flowers blows. Said to delivery flowers on Tuesday at 4. They tried to at 9 am. The next day, they said they delivered them and dropped them off. Nope that was a lie. Never delivered. Ruined all my plains.

Order was never delivered.
They sent confirmation saying it was delivered.
They later acknowledged the order confirmation was sent in error.
They were not able to resolve the delivery issue or confirm the error in writing.
Very poor experience.

I’ve read all the reviews left on here AFTER i placed my order and I was very very nervous about the decision I made, but surprisingly despite all the bad reviews they did a pretty good job with my order. It came on time, and looked not exactly like the picture but it was close enough and my girlfriend loved it. Thank you.

If I could give no star I would totally do that. This flower shop is full of shit. I ordered flowers for my mom on mothers day and one week later she still hasn’t got them yet. I called THREE TIMES and they kept saying it will redeliver but it never did. I had to open a dispute in order to get my $ 100 back. I wish I read the review before I ordered. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.

Multiple bad experiences in multiple states. Bellingham, WA, San Jose Ca, Lawton OK, and one delivery that actually went well in Fort Carson Co.
In San Jose the flower arrangement looked nothing like the picture and they did not send the teddy bear that I paid for. It took over a week for me to get a response from someone I could hardly understand and they did not want to refund me the teddy bear that didn’t get delivered but instead give me a 10% discount I eventually got the teddy bear refunded though.
The only thing correct about this order was the next day delivery.
Bellingham WA. I ordered the flowers two days ahead of time for my girlfriend. I got a call around 2pm if I remember correctly and they said they wouldn’t deliver to her today and would do it Monday which it was Saturday and going to be 2 days late for her birthday. They again gave me a whooping 10% off my order but this time remembered the teddy bear!
Lawton OK correct delivery date for Mother’s Day flowers but the wrong flowers luckily my moms favorite color was purple and they accidentally sent her purple Lillie type flowers that were much cheaper than the flowers I ordered…
All in all its a bad place with bad customer service. I know a couple of my guy friends have also had bad experiences with this place so I would recommend just getting off your couch and going to local florist. Save a few bucks and make it more meaningful.

all their customer service is routed to India, where an person who you cannot understand just reads off an manual to you. My flowers were supposed to be delivered on the day I ordered them, I got a confirmation that they were received and it turns out, they were never delivered, and the person they had on record signing for the flowers was the DELIVERY GUY. seriously, such a crap.

I was late in ordering my best friends birthday flowers, really late — her birthday is today and she lives in Houston. I should get one star for being a forgetful friend! So I decide to go with 1800 Flowers, it’s nationwide and I’m sure they can handle a same day delivery. Place my order online and get the confirmation email quickly — fast forward 3 hours after placing the order. I get a call from the the customer service center in the Philippines (I know a Pinoy when I hear one) I am now informed that the florist cannot deliver the flowers today, because they are in Pasadena and the delivery is in Houston and it’s too far! Really, really c’mon, I wanted to argue, but why argue with this poor girl who doesn’t even know Houston? You are telling me that this service can only find one last minute florist to deliver to a metropolitan city? I find that a little hard to believe.
They said they can have something delivered via FedEx or UPS by tomorrow or Wednesday, but I would not be able to get the same bouquet. She starts rattling off different arrangements, and I’m not even in front of a computer. I almost caved until I started asking about pricing and a straight exchange; that’s when she said we have already cancelled your first order! Even better, thanks for your help, but no thanks. Found a local florist — they will deliver today — review and pic to come!

RRRuuunn from this awful abusive incompetent service! My 85 year old mother didn’t receive her flowers for Valentines day even though i ordered to have her recieve it a day early! they decided that a week later would be okay! Spent 3 hours on the phone with them as they lied, lied.lied.

Worst company ever!!! The order had to be changed 3 times because the flowers that I picked were not available and they couldn’t reach the florist. My order never arrived and the company keeps giving me excuses to gave me a refund

Skimming through the existing reviews, it seems that it’s pretty clear at this point how staggeringly incompetent these people are. Do not give these charlatans your money under any circumstances. I fell for some Corporate Perks deal that came up in my work mail, and boy, have I lived to regret it. I have very rarely been made this angry by a company. It’s actually difficult to fully get one’s head around. They are not even close to worthy of one star. This level of service requires the antithesis of a star. What would that be? A black hole? Yes, a black hole is absolutely apposite. After failing to deliver the flowers I had ordered 4 SEPARATE TIMES, they agreed to cancel my order and refund my money. I just checked my credit card statement, and instead of issuing a full refund of $ 53, they decided to refund only $ 40. Sly bastards. Now I have to get back on the phone with sycophantic «Emma» in Manila. Fabulous.

My Valentine’s Day flowers were supposed to arrive from my husband on Feb 13; he paid an extra $ 20 for this. The day after V-​Day, still no flowers. This organization is AWFUL.

I never thought I’d find a worse company than a certain cable company… But 1800 flowers did it!
I ordered flowers (4 weeks in advance) for my girlfriend to arrive on 2÷13÷15 and they never arrived! During the day they were supposed to arrive, I kept calling UPS to make sure they got to her office and kept getting the run around. You’re telling me UPS can’t track what truck a package is on? Give me a break.
I gave it a couple days and called on Monday ²⁄₁₆ to get my money back. Guy said no problem, sorry, we’ll issue you a full refund and will send you an email receipt to confirm the refund. Sitting on Wednesday ²⁄₁₈ with no email receipt, no refund, nothing! I call Chase and they don’t see any pending credits either. So I filed a dispute with them to dispute the charge. What a headache!

STAY AWAY! I paid a huge fee to have the flowers delivered in one day and two days later, they still aren’t there. Other flower web sites offer honest delivery times for less money!

I will never order again from 1−800-flowers.
This is the second time, and last, that 1−800-flowers screwed up my order.
The first time I got a call two days later stating that delivery to the area requested was not possible.
Now, Friday 04/​02/​2014, I ordered before 8:00 AM in the morning for the SAME day delivery. The website stated that the order would be delivered by 2:00 PM.
The order was actually delivered past 6:00 PM, after the event was over.
So, I will never, EVER order from your website and I will place a review on every website I can.

This is the most ridiculous service. I ordered the a flowers arrangement from
through a corporate site. A local florist in Hoboken NJ delivered a product that does not evenly remotely look anything like the products posted. I called the corporate site customer service and they said they’ll refund and talk to 1800flowers. Then I got a call from the recipient that the local florist went by to retrieve the flowers from the recipient. Upon calling the Corp customer service back and asked about 1800flowers retrieving the product, they said, «oh yes they could do that. the previous customer service was new and probably did not tell you.»
1) They made me look like a fool delivering ugly flowers (that costs $ 67 but looked like $ 15 with a cheap vase) that do not match the picture or description.
2) They did not inform me during my call back that the refund condition is they retrieve the product and thus upsetting both the recipient and thus me.
3) Clearly neither the corporate site they’re associated with nor 1800flowers care about what they deliver or their customer service.
If a shop cannot deliver consistent service, you might well just bet your money on the lottery. You have a better chance winning it that getting what you think you ordered. Order at your own risk. my 2 cents

Due to all the poor reviews, I ordered a bouquet a week in advance just in case so I would get my order delivered on time.

Paid an additional service charge to get the flowers delivered to London for a friend’s birthday.

Called back TWICE to make sure the order would be delivered ON TIME.

I finally decided to cancel that shit and they only refunded me PARTIALLY. Called back and was put on hold for 10min to get that additional service charge refunded for the service that I never received.
1800 Flowers was probably invented by some jaded bitter bitch who is out to ruin everyone’s relationships. Like «I’m gonna promise to deliver flowers to your loved ones. NOT!!!»
For a company that promises to order and deliver flowers, I think they really NAILED IT!!! (on being TERRIBLE and absolutely WORTHLESS!!)

BAD BAD BAD BAD, pretty much sums it up. I have used them on a few occasions, which is a few too many. I have had success with them 3 times, all of the other times, I have had to call and had to have replacement flowers sent.
The latest in their horrible service, I sent flowers for Valentines Day, early to avoid the rush, they used UPS (U People are Stupid to use us) and they delivered them to the apartment office 20 minutes prior to the office closing. I called to complain, the women did not speak English well enough to understand and said they would just send out another shipment. I sent a letter to their contact us page, and all I got back was so sorry, we shipped a new order for you so get lost. Never again 1800flowers.
