Could not wait to eat cart food in NYC. The smell of Gyro was making me insane, so we stopped here. The guy was actually very nice and added absolutely everything I wanted to my gyro. It may seem ridiculous to give a little Halal cart 5 stars, but I’m a Jersey Girl who simply does not get the kind of food that these great little food carts provide all of you lucky people in NYC get to have all the time. It. Was. AMAZEBALLSOFFALAFEL.

I asked for extra hot sauce. Oh god, why did I ask for extra hot sauce?!

The portion size was small for a halal cart. It’s not like the ingredients were top notch to offset that. The lettuce was browning…

Price is now $ 6. Its as good as any other halal cart in the city. The rice was a little tough. There are better carts for $ 5.

What’s to like: Cheap, Large portions, delicious. $ 5 for Chicken or Lamb over rice. What’s not to like: I’ve got nothin. What to get: Get the chicken over rice with both red and white sauces. Final thoughts: In my opinion, this is the best street cart in NYC.

Once again i got the lamb over yellow rice. The meat was a little dry, but I went kind of late and it looked like it had been sitting there a while. I was hungry and this was the closest cart at the time so I went for it. The rice was average(bland but at least soft), the portions were good, and the price was good. $ 5.
