After trying to use this place several times we gave up. Zeke King Jr. did not do his job. He never filed our paperwork for any of the apartments we wanted. He never got back to us and the manager said he would help us and ever did. We ended up going to another realtor and got the apartment we wanted that day! Stay away!

Zeke King is a jerk! At this very moment, he is harassing me via text over opting to not work with him. Not worth your time or money!

Rude and unprofessional. Find another real estate agency.
In response to my email was «do not waste my time» and demanded my phone number.
In particular, ZEKE King Jr. has been the worst realtor/​broker I have ever dealt with.
Do not waste YOUR time!

DO NOT go through ZEKE KING JR at A.N. Shell Real Estate in NYC. I am sure the others in the office are much more professional and they did seem to have good listings.
The only reason I gave one star is because I got a fairly quick response. When I asked a question via email, I was then bombarded with several rude, demeaning emails from Zeke King J.R. (he was mostly angry that I didn’t leave him a contact phone number, which I accidently left out of my response email).
When we decided to go through someone else to find us a home, he wrote me the nastiest email ending with, and I quote «Do not even respond to this email either. But you are a WOMAN so you must have the last word.» What a sexist jerk! Do yourself a favor and stay away!

If you are looking at this review, then you are inevitably looking for a new apartment, like I was a month or two ago. I approached this company as my second experience with a realty business in the Inwood area. I wish I had made it my first. It was a pleasant experience.
With A.N. Shell, I was able to see several apartments in the upper Inwood area within my price range and within the one hour appointment. Though there were additional apartments to view, I was not able to see them on a Saturday, a second appointment was necessary. But throughout the experience, A.N. Shell was willing to work with me — to find something within my price range and with the amenities I sought. They were communicators and returned phone calls and confirmed appointments.
Though I did not end up renting any apartment through A.N. Shell, however, the service provided did not go unnoticed and I needed to recognize it on Unilocal.
— They were helpful and professional.
— I found them to be respectful of my time.
– And, if you have a chance to work with them, then I believe their employees are knowledgeable and they are positively connected to landlords and supers in this neighborhood.
Let’s face it — everyone wants a service provider that puts forth a good effort when trying to find a new apartment. I would give them a shot.
