Abu Dhabi Restaurant & Hookah Lounge

The bar clientele keep the entire neighborhood awake after hours. They need to start enforcing speak easy rules for the sake of people with real jobs in the neighborhood.

Came here to celebrate my friend’s birthday… Wasn’t a good experience. Our waitresses was not good and had an attitude. Told her my allergies and brought out food I was allergic to. She was also drinking & smoking at the bar while on shift. My first & last visit.

My first visit to this restaurant was awesome … The ambiance, music was just right… Will be there again this Sunday for brunch

Terrible Service. Terrible Attitude.
I walked in with two of my friends to enjoy some hookah and drinks. When we enter, the staff just stares at us… just stares, that’s it. We have to ask if they’re open and then a waitress gets up, grabs some menus and ushers us back to a table. She doesn’t say a word.
We get the drink menu, which is incredibly over priced, way more than other bars in the area. We say we would like some hookah, they have no menu for it but another guy comes over and asks a flavor choice.
He brings our hookah and immediately asks for cash payment. That’s fine, but it wasn’t posted anywhere and the waitress didn’t tell us anything about it. We planned on splitting a tab at the end of the night. Hookah is 25 $ for a small bowl, and for what it’s worth it was decent.
I grew up in an arab family and expected similar taste and hospitality to other arab establishments (The place is called Abu Dhabi after all). This place was much more like a slimy club. Do not come expecting any class, taste, or pride in their product. Unfriendly staff and overpriced drinks is all you will get.

I’m always here after work for the happy hour specials. Long day at work. Followed by 5 $ drinks. First hookah free. And 15 for a refill.

Came on a Monday me and my friends were strolling through Dyckman and wanted something with hookah and food best thing we bumped into was this place. Food was AMAZING! My friends and I had a picadera plate a little bit of everything churrasco (perfectly cooked and seasoned), grilled chicken (perfect seasoning), calamaris, fries, chicken wings and mozzarella sticks! Talk about a great combo! We shared it between 3 of us and it was satisfying. The drink was made to perfection and the hookah lasted a a long time. I love this place defiantly will be coming here more often!

this was the worst hookah bar on earth. before even entering the valet mad an extremely racist comment. first he had the nerve to ask if my friend an d i were sisters, im thinking like siblings he was referring to my race and then proceeded to say theres a lot of hispanics inside idt you want to go in hahahaha. that made me extremely upset but it was late and i didnt want to take my chances going to the les. valet parking was 20 dollars like wtf… this is not midtown and even there you wouldn’t pay that much. so after paying for parking elsewhere we proceeded. i went there on a tuesday and they had the nerve to charge a cover. and i didnt see anyone else pay for my duration. then we went to the back to find a table and the staff could barely even speak english when we asked for a table. we got hand signaled to sit in the front by the window. i asked for hookah the bartender told me $ 15. minutes later he still didnt make it and comes again and said hookah is actually $ 25 and drinks were $ 15. like 99 percent of places in nyc prices start at 7 – 15 and if you want to mix flavors or add liquor or etc. its extra. and $ 15 for a drink is ridiculous, maybe at madison square garden but drinks should not have been more then $ 6 dollars in all honesty. the hookah was good but not worth the price. the staff was very rude, inattentive. and this place doesnt take cards, have menus for anything or have an atm like its 2015 upgrade your services with your prices. do not go here ever!!! you will regret it!!! if i had only looked at the comments before, only if
