Sunday afternoon and called. I got a callback in seconds. 30 minutes later I was back in my apartment. Fast, dependable, professional, courteous service that is hard to find in Manhattan. Highly recommended and keep there number handy.

I was in a pinch. Lock busted in the morning and couldn’t lock my door. Called this place and a few others for a quote. Judged them all buy response time, price and professional attitude. Rene and Rich were the best in all categories. I did pick a very expensive solution from Multilock so it was costly, but knowing from research, the price was reasonable and the service was great.

BEST LOCKSMITH EVER! I got locked out of my apartment and he made a copy out of a PHOTO of my key… he’s amazing!!! Highly recommended!

Knowledgeable locksmiths… I had several keys made fir houseguests for the holidays and they were quick and affordable as well as respectful.

I cannot vouch for their lock changing services, but I got three keys made for $ 2 each and it took less than five minutes. Plus the guy there is very personable and professional. (On a side note, avoid Home Depot for your key making needs!)

I called Access after seeing all the good reviews on Unilocal.I wanted to have a high security deadbolt installed on my door, the apartment I moved into didn’t have one.
When I called to schedule the appointment, I asked how much it would cost and they me it would be $ 258.50 for the lock to be installed on a metal door. I asked if they took credit cards and he said yes, so I scheduled and appointment for 10am on Saturday morning.
At 10:20 no one had come yet, so I called them. The guy called me at 10:45 and said that he got hung up and was going to come to me next, in about 30 min. I had another appointment so I told him we had to reschedule. He agreed to come the following Saturday at 10.
Saturday comes and they guy is late again. He shows up just before 11 after calling me 3 times because he couldn’t remember the address. It was disrespectful of my time and totally unprofessional. When he finally arrives and installs the lock he tells me it’s going to be $ 295.00 plus a fee for the visit and he wanted to charge me 3% additional because he didn’t have a way to take a credit card. Really??? I asked them if he took credit cards when I made the appointment and they said yes.
Summary: unorganized, unprofessional, and hidden fees
If you don’t want the runaround, pass on these guys. It seems they are only able to handle copying keys.

Tiny tiny little space that can barely fit 2 customers but man does the locksmiths knows what they’re doing. On top of that they are always really nice and efficient. Though I think it’s slightly pricy but after comparison with other Manhattan locksmiths, it’s about the same.

Second time I got locked out, I gave them a call again. Unfortunately, they asked me for a much higher price this time! The man I spoke with said I would not be able to find a locksmith with a lower price. Funny how life works, because the second place I called immediately after this place unlocked my door, charging me $ 75.

My entire experience from calling to inquire which bolt lock I should get and flexibility to schedule an appointment was excellent. Renee was friendly and he was very patient to explain to me locks they have available. During the day of service, he was on time and called when he arrived. He was fast and efficient, he went above and beyond his duty to install my lock. He even tightened up a loose door knob and fixed my door latch. When he was finished, he demonstrated how to use my new lock. Fairly priced, friendly, and professional service. Use them!

Went to get a mail key and a few other keys copied. Easy, fast, cheap, professional, courteous. This shop is great!
Probably best to bring cash; there is a $ 15 minimum for the credit card.

Called last minute on a Sunday afternoon after I locked myself out of my bedroom on accident. Took a little while to get there (due to traffic?) but he still came through late Sunday afternoon and was very fast and efficient. Cost $ 125 to get me in which was a little cheaper than others in the area I had spoken to but still didn’t seem like they were going to scam me so I ran with it and he got me back in pretty quick once he arrived.

Rene was very friendly over the phone and charged an extremely reasonable price. We originally had a 2 pm appointment but called to let me know he was running 15 minutes behind. Not only did he show up only a few minutes late, he apologized profusely for being late! He was able to get me back into the apartment within minutes, and was extremely friendly during the entire process. Never once did he mention having to drill and replace the lock, like some other locksmiths would suggest to make some extra money. Once back in, he asked for proof of address to ensure that I actually lived there, good added step for additional security.

Awesome service, definitely cheaper than the home depot down the street. No lie, these guys had every lock available. Have I gone back? Yes! Will I go back again? Without a doubt! These guys were fast and helpful and made sure I had the necessary keys that I needed prior to leaving. They even made sure to explain how multi-​lock works and how you’ll need a specific card to duplicate. In fact, they informed me that if you lose your key, you can just bring the multi-​lock card and have them make another copy for you based on the card.
Great service for a great price. These guys are the people to go to when you need anything locksmith related!
