Coming from LA you expect to taste great pizza coming to NY. A day before we had tried another pizza place in Queens and was expecting for it to taste amazing. We where wrong, while not bad it was not what we expected. Adriennes pizza did the job! Pizza was amazing and we where served great too! We are definitely hoping to come back before we leave and take some on the road to the airport :) highly recommended to anyone looking for a nice bite!

Came here with my family who was visiting from out of town. A little difficult to find since stone street isn’t actually a street you’d drive on. It’s a side street that all the restaurants in that area have table seating at. So a little confusing to get to for sure. The restaurant itself is nice. Pretty spacious, modern, with a Tuscan edge. The waitress was nice and helpful. We got there around 5:30 on a Saturday and it wasn’t busy. The dinner menu was sort of small and didn’t have too much variety as far as the entrees go. I got the old fashioned pizza. Got it with sauce and cheese as well as basil and mushrooms. Honestly was very good. One of the best pizzas I’ve had. Also super filling which meant I was able to take some home. Eating the pizza the next day still tasted great. That’s when you know you’ve had some good pizza. Great place, I’d recommend it if you’re in the area.

Dopest spot, dopest staff, by far the dopest pizza. Such a supreme experience! If you are any where near Battery Park go to this spot! Sat outside amidst a walking street of food paradise. The old fashion pizza was perfect! The dough light and airy, fresh ingredients, so supreme. Of all the pizza I’ve eaten in the city, they are the champion… for now

I don’t usually do reviews after one visit but the service here sucked so bad I won’t be back. The only reason it gets 2 stars is because the pizza was pretty good. A buddy of mine and I came for lunch, we have jobs, we have to get back to work. Adrienne’s should know this about the area. We ordered a pizza, over an hour and a half later we finally left. The pizza took an hour… an hour. We saw tables that came after us, order, get their food, pay and leave before we even got our pie. The waiter, flat out, was a dick. Never came to check in, I had to basically yell to get his attention and ask where the pizza was, he gave me the«1 minute and rolled his eyes(this was at the 45 minute mark). He comes back 5 – 6 minutes later and says 2 minutes, that’s it. He says it while walking by not even stopping. Those 2 minutes actually meant 10 minutes. So an hour after we ordered the pizza arrived, because this guy probably didn’t put it in. He comes over, drops it I think said sorry for the wait, but he mumbled and walked away. Water went empty, my buddy’s iced tea went empty. We again had to try and flag this guy down to get the check. He just puts it down, no apologies, nothing doesn’t say thank you. No offer of hey my bad, here’s 5 bucks off, something, anything. Nope, never coming back, service sucks. It’s New York, there are always other pizza options.

My sister and I had the rolatini. It was pretty good but there was way too much cheese. The expression«you can never have too much cheese» proves to be false here. I could barely detect the eggplant due to the smothering flavor of the cheese. However, the overall flavor was fantastic and it looks and tastes homemade, which is the best part of Italian places. I will say that the cheese was perfectly melted and bubbly over the top; it was aesthetically pleasing. The marinara had a good balance of sweet and acidity from the tomatoes.

Was here yesterday for a late lunch with friends and few times before that. Very nice place. We had our daughter with us and our friends had a baby and service dog. Already, sounds tough but the staff and owner were very accommodating. They made sure to give us a great spot for our stroller and make us comfortable. Waiter was great very understanding. He took our order quickly. We went for Portobello salad, eggplant parmesan and mushroom calzone. Salad was great and definitely fresh. Eggplant parmesan hit the spot although, I remember it being more spicer for some reason. Calzone came out little burned, but still good. Service was excellent. Waiter always coming around and check-in on us. My daughter was being fussy and didn’t want to sit in her stroller, my husband and I took turns taking her around the restaurant. They were really understanding about this as I am sure was a nuisance since, they had to go around us to service others. Overall, excellent place to grab a bite. Pizza is delicious, staff is friendly and location is great. They have tables outside and with weather getting nice should definitely give it a try.

Well I most say that Adrienne’s Pizza Bar has by far one of the best pizzas in New York City. I happened to be in the area and was looking for a place that served both pizza and beer. I searched Unilocal for the nearest pizza spots and this was on top of the search list. After reading some reviews and viewing some of the photos I decided to go to this restaurant. I really like the dark and cozy atmosphere inside the restaurant. Adrienne’s also offers outdoor seating on Stone Street next to other outdoor seating tables offered by other nearby restaurants. Its very busy and noisy outside so we personally decided to stay indoors.(Plus it was a bit cold outside) There is also a full bar inside which offers top shelf liquor and beer. Now the food here is definitely worth trying and especially if you’re looking for some great New York pizza. They offer 12 inch round pies, «old fashion» pizza, pasta dishes, and salads. I personally didnt look at the other menu items because I was sold on their pizza. I did glance over at the plates that were being brought over to other customers and they looked real good. Regardless, I ordered the«old fashion» pizza pie and I was definitely not disappointed. It came hot on a tray that was placed on the center of the table. Everything tasted fresh and like I said, it has to be one of my top favorite pizza places in New York City.(I’ve been to MANY pizza restaurants) To top things off the cold beer was the icing on the cake. You must stop here if you’re looking for some great pizza and drinks.

Adrienne’s is special to me because it’s where I went on my first date with my boyfriend! The atmosphere there is great. Definitely good for dates(obviously), but also a good place to go with a friend, or a small group(more than four would be pushing it). The pizza is wonderful, but it’s heavy. So be go hungry and be ready to eat a lot. I think of it as a cold weather /dreary day kind of pizza. Also, the wine selection is good too. I highly recommend it!

Ok, so I’m late to the game on this one. This is not your usual NYC pizza. It’s a little thicker, pan style pizza, but no as think as deep dish(which I don’t care for). Food/Drinks: Mixed Green salad — very simple and fresh(but obviously not the reason one would come here). Old Fashioned Pizza with Pepperoni and Sausage — it’s amazing and really some of the best pizza I’ve had in awhile. It’s perfectly cooked and the pepperoni and sausage are perfectly seasoned and cooked. It’s cooked on the well-done side, which I prefer. This pizza is very filling. I can typically only get two pieces down. I also ask for extra marinara sauce to dip the edge of the crust in. They have a decent wine and beer selection for a pizza place. This place is worth going out of your way to the Financial District, if you are not in this area already. It’s even better if you get to seat outside. Stone St is great on a nice day. We have been here a couple of times and it’s definitely on my repeat list, not to mention it’s right around the corner from Dead Rabbit(two for one!!!).

I’m really confused as to how this pizza place has so many reivews and 4 stars. My theory is that people are too drunk to realize that the pizza is not good. I tried the regular round pizza and did not think it was good at all. There was so much crust that I barely got any pizza. I ordered garlic as a topping and it was literally thick-sliced garlic that was still crunchy. Who wants to eat that on their pizza?! The pepperoni was good BUT it was so unevenly distributed. There were a lot of pepperonis that were all stuck together. If you are coming here for pizza, I’d skip this place. Nice place to sit outside and drink, though.

I was so excited to come back here. We ordered the Margarita pizza since it was just two of us. What a let down that was. It lacked salt, flavor and just over taste. The only thing hat saved this pizza Was we added meatballs. They were flavorful and soft and made me content. We spilt the penne vodka with shrimp and it really saved the night for me. It was rich and saucy. The shrimp cooked perfectly. I guess it wasn’t my night or I’ll have to come to try their signature old fashion pizza.

In a nutshell: It was delicious & I would go back. On Stone St which is super cute. It’s a cute place with ample seating for the size. Got the mushroom old fashioned pie & easily ate 3 slices. It was very tasty, not too salty, ample flavor.

Yo Adrienne’s! You did it! Cool pizza. Cold beer. Two thirds of my Margot Robbie fantasy. Adrienne’s PizzaBar combines two of life’s simplest pleasures: pizza and bar into one word, pizzabar, and one restaurant … to popular success. We started with the beer. Olivia: a light Italian Peroni Birra. Me: a local Coney Island IPA. Step 1 of our 2 step plan was a success. Beer has a way of making everything after it seem way cooler and it was true of Adrienne’s simple brick-oven Margherita Pizza. Mozzarella. Basil. Tomatoes. Success … and the makings of a whole new sexy Harley Quinn daydream. We went out of our way to try Adrienne’s and, despite serving hip pizza and refreshing beer, it probably isn’t worth extra effort unless Margot Robbie is at the next table. Otherwise, you can find similar pizza and vibe at many places in New York.

Very good pizza. Not super thin, but a wonderful mix of chewy and crispy crust. Been here a couple of times. I would recommend trying the original at least once, then going for toppings. Personal favorite is pepperoni and ricotta. One heads up — can’t get slices.

This is the BEST Pizza in the Financial District, no question about it. And I’d go as far as to say it’s one of the Top 10 Pizza places in the city, along with Juliana’s, Roberta’s, Motorino, Di Fara, Joe’s, Best Pizza, Prince Street, etc. Now, it’s a different style of pizza — it’s a thicker style of pizza, but not as thick as a typical Sicilian slice and it comes in a rectangular pan, and you have to order a whole pizza, No by-the-slice here. It’s excellent pizza — one of my best friends liked it so much, that she made me go there twice in one week during her visit to NYC. In my opinion, it’s the best restaurant on Stone Street as far as food quality. There’s always a wait during lunch or a nice afternoon after work, but moves fairly quickly, they have a ton of toppings to choose from, and you can do half of the pizza with one set of toppings and the other half with different toppings. The pizza is huge, and could feed 4 people, but somehow my friend and I finished it all, haha. I also like that that they don’t go heavy on the tomato sauce and it’s not as acidic as other places. And the crust is soft on top, while crunchy on the bottom, I love it actually. And I absolutely love that they use«Old World Pepperoni» for their pepperoni slices. Old world pepperoni are smaller in diameter than the basic(Hormel) pepperoni, and curl up into a little bowl when cooked. Old world is higher quality and less greasy, so you’re not repeating(or tasting) that pepperoni all day, like you are with the cheaper stuff. As far as price, it’s on the pricier side, but it’s worth it. Overall, you can’t go wrong here, and if you’re in FiDi and you want pizza, this is the ONLY place to go!

Adrienne’s Pizza Bar NY Manhattan FiDi Stone Street 9pm Friday 26th February 2016 Four Stars They were able to seat 7 of us in the back. The area was a bit cramped but it worked out. I drank a liter of house red wine. I had some meat lasagne and side order of meatballs. We also had two large pies– sausage and peppers & Sundried Tomatoes and Basil. The food was excellent. I was stuffed.

Undeniably, one of the best Pizza’s I’ve had in NYC. I know I know, pizza lovers will probably have a different opinion and might suggest their favorite joints. But that’s what it comes down to. What’s your favorite pizza place? Adrian’s is top quality, consistent and most importantly deliciously tasty! They are very particular about not seating you, unless your entire party is there, so remember to always have your entire group there. Service is top notch and I’ve never had any problems here. Overall, it’s never been a disappointing experience.

Writing this now, the day after I came here, while on lunch break and eating a sad salad. I miss Adrienne’s. I am not a pizza lover or picky by any means, and I usually just find pizza pretty good! But WOW this pizza is simply to die for. A group of us came around 7 pm and were seated quickly(although I had to wait, since everyone has to be present to get seated). Service was prompt, and even though the pizza is housemate, also came out relatively quickly. Not a huge fan of the table bread, but the pizza steals the show! Four of us shared a large white pizza, which turned out to be just enough and was only $ 8 per person! I also took a margarita pizza to go, which I also greatly enjoyed as the crust was so crispy and the flavors perfect. My white pizza crazy friends always crave the white pizza here, and while I appreciate the hefty cheese I always feel a little guilty coming here. But seriously, I get the pizza craze now. Would come again – and I hate going to places twice that are out of my way!

In my quest for New York foods while in town for a business trip my coworkers and I stumbled upon this place near Wall Street. I love the area, it’s off of a brick road with tiny shops between huge sky scrapers. A very cool, almost hipster feel. The food was good, but not great. I felt the crust of the pizza was a little bit soggy but the toppings were great. I do enjoy the complimentary bread with oil & vinegar. Can’t go wrong there! The service was great too. Very helpful with any questions and constantly making checks and refilling waters. Overall a nice spot for a weekday bite.

Coworkers took me here for my welcome lunch and it was really delicious. We got there around 11:30 which was good because it filled up really fast! We ordered two pies split into pepperoni/sausage and basil/eggplant. I didn’t have the basil(although I heard good things about it) but the others were really delicious. Crust was thick but not too thick, with lots of good edge pieces(my favorite for pan pizzas) and pepperoni that was actually crisp on the edges(which is the best and nobody seems to do that here, so I was really happy). Honestly, probably the best pizza I’ve had in NYC thus far. A table near us had some really good looking sangria with their lunch, so I’m going to have to come back for dinner to have some.

Stopped in around 10:30pm on a Friday and sat at the bar. We started off with drinks. I had the Gimonade and my gf had the St. Sparkle. My drink was a little tart for my taste but it masked the alcohol well as I was soon happily inebriated. For food we opted for the«small» antipasto misto and old fashioned pizza. I put small in quotes as the plate was humongous. So big in fact that when it arrived I actually asked the bar keep«Is…this the small one?» After being assured that it was we proceeded to tackle the misto with gusto. The cheese and meat were good but pretty standard. What pleasantly surprised me were the artichokes and mushrooms. Yes I know, your eyes are going to glaze over as I compliment vegetables but they were actually really good and were the highlight of the meal for me. The artichokes and mushrooms were slightly warm, had great texture and a nice slightly tangy flavor. It actually took quite awhile longer before the pizza came out. When it finally did it was, like the antipasto, larger than expected. The presentation was sort of odd to me as the pizza came out on what looked to be a baking sheet that had seen better days. The sauce and cheese were decent but definitely not something to write home about. The crust was what really let me down though. It is best described as pan pizza-esque, but it wasn’t crispy at all. It was just kind of dense and soft. Bottom line: Adrienne’s may claim to be a pizza bar, but the bar they set for their pizza isn’t all that high.

Adrienne’s Pizzabar is one of the more popular places down by Water street. We decided to come here for dinner as it was directly across the street from the bf’s workplace. We were lucky enough to get a table quickly so we ordered quickly and opted for the margherita pizza. We picked this one because it was recommended but also it was one of the more affordable pies on the menu. The prices are quite high for typical pizza restaurants, but also it’s what you’d expect from this area. The pie was much bigger than we anticipated so we were glad to have only ordered one. Served on a metal tray, you can tell it was freshly made. Every ingredient seemed fresh and you can taste the manual cooking process. Maybe we’re not big pizza people, maybe it was a bad day, but the pie was only OK to us. We could barely finish half and had to take the rest home. The dough was crispy and the sauce plentiful. There was enough cheese and sauce so we weren’t just eating bread. Nevertheless, we weren’t blown away by the flavors so probably won’t come back unless there was nowhere to go.

This is a pretty awesome place. We stopped in here for lunch with a party of six on a Saturday early afternoon. The staff greeted us with a smile, and they were pleasant the entire duration of our experience. The restaurant itself has a little more on the room than most New York establishments, but seating is still cozy. We were promptly seated at a table that fit all six of us. We decided to order and one of the large classic pizza’s with several toppings, and also a 12 inch smaller Pizza margarita style. Both dishes were terrific. As soon as the pizza arrived conversation quickly came to a screeching halt because we are all busy stuffing our faces with the wonderful pizza that had been delivered to our table. We also ordered a Caesar salad which was equally as delicious. The ambience of the restaurant was spot on, the restaurant was clean, the service was prompt and friendly, and the music selection was at the right volume and well chosen. If you make it to this part of the city I highly recommend stopping in here for some authentic New York Pizza.

This is hands down one of my favorite pizza places in NYC. I don’t really believe in trying restaurants more than once, but I’ve been to Adrienne’s 5+ times. The pizzas are old school rectangle shape and there is the perfect, harmonious blend of tomato sauce, cheese, and toppings. I’m a die hard carnivore so sausage and pepperoni is my go to! When the weather is nice out(spring, summer, fall) there is outside bench seating right on Stone Street– THIS is the way to experience your pizza! I will say the only down side is that they don’t take reservations, but make sure you arrive 10 minutes before the lunch rush because seats fill up right away and you will have a 45 – 60 minute wait.

Gosh I love this place. So this time — being on my own, I did not get the full cookie sheet pizza(a shame because that is my fav). So I had a round(did not finish), white pizza, with proscuitto and potato. Yum — really — Yum!!! Nice glass of Valipolicella with it. Fast and friendly service. Lots of tables were taken — word gets around about a great place like this. If you are with a group — get the big sheet pizza — to die for! For two — sharing and salad and a round pizza does the trick. Ciao bella/o!

The pizza here is the bomb. It’s your typical unhealthy American pizza but far tastier than that of Pizza Hut and Dominos. DEFINITELY try the sausage. Those little bits of sausage meat are seasoned so perfectly. If you’re not a sausage person, the pepperoni comes as a close second. The pepperonis here are very tiny, giving them a nice crisp. Eat the pizza while its hot, sizzling, juicy and fresh! You don’t want to eat a dried up piece of pizza.

This is a popular restaurant located in a trendy area with quaint shops and several eateries. We ordered the old fashioned, which is a rectangular pizza. Each topping costs extra, so the price adds up quickly. It can easily feed 3 – 4 people. We were told that the crust for this type of pizza was the same as their round pies, thin and crispy. Not true — this crust was much thicker. It reminded me of a Pizza Hut pan pizza crust. The pizza was flavorful, but it wasn’t anything special. I was disappointed that the crust was so much thicker than we were led to believe. If you are looking for traditional Neapolitan style pizza, this is not the place for you. Also, pizzas are pricey here. Unfortunately, the Financial District is slim pickins for traditional Neapolitan pizza.

Not sure if Adrienne’s does thin crust but I found their pizza to be to thick with the dough and light on the tomato sauce and toppings. I had my pizza delivered and by the time I received it, my pizza was a mess. I had a square pizza with roasted red peppers and onion and all I received was a dried square dough with barely any dressing on the dough. I was very disappointed. I had to discard the pizza after having one slice because it was just bread and I picked all the topping off my pizza and put it in that one slice. The pictures of the pizza on Unilocal looks great but I would strongly requesting thin crust and eat your pizza on site so you can hold them accountable for the toppings.

The real good NYC experience! The had«October-fest-que» idea going on with outdoor seating! We were starved from an all day shopping trip around NYC and just sat down after a long long day! We got Eggplant Parmigiana to share and a mushroom, beef, ham, onions pizza to order with a couple of drinks. The sangria wasn’t that great, seemed a bit watered down and too sweet. The pizza on the other hand knocked it out of the park! It was great! It turned out to be like $ 70 for the pizza but it was worth it. We had underestimated the size of t he pizza but it can easily feed 3 people. We only got ½ way through the pizza and had to get the rest of it packed! LOL. The pizza itself had a really great tomato sauce and the ingredients were delicious by themselves as well! The eggplant was overshadowed by the pizza but as a cheese fan, I really enjoyed that as well!

Clearly Ive been missing out because I really dont know how Ive never eaten here after working in FiDi for so many years! Located on the lovely Stone Street is this great pizza. Stone street is very chaotic and Ive definitely passed up eating here until I had it with my coworkers. The pizza here is delicious, its that old fashioned style pizza. Tried the cheese pizza and the pepperoni pizza, the sauce is great. Its not greasy like many of the other pizza spots around here. They do not sell slices but the pies are not expensive. Theres not too many pizza spots around here and really only 1 other that I can think of that is good but I’d definitely recommend getting pizza from here if your looking for a pie!!!

Adrienne’s Pizza Bar has some of the best pizza in NYC. But with over 700 reviews you guys already knew that. A couple things to keep in mind when visiting Adrienne’s — the place is LOUD. So so loud. Definitely not a place for a romantic date. It’s also reallllly hot inside, especially in the back near the pizza ovens. If you have the option — ask to sit towards the front of the restaurant or outside at one of the picnic tables on Stone St. Noise levels and temperature aside — the pizza is indeed delicious. That’s fact. I highly recommend an Old Fashioned pizza($ 23) with sausage and garlic($ 3 and $ 2 respectively) and I dare you not to eat the whole thing.

Who doesn’t enjoy a wonderful afternoon sitting outside on Stone Street?!? I’d been to a few of the other eateries on Stone Street but on this particular day it was my mission to try Adrienne’s since my boyfriend loves pizza. We were able to get a seat outside so we were able to get the full experience. There’s something about the chairs and tables set up on Stone Street that creates such an amazing NYC summer experience. Everyone should visit at least once while in NYC. Now on to the pizza, we ordered the old fashioned and added additional toppings to each half of the pie. The pizza was delicious;however, the crust on my end was a little burnt. Nonetheless it was rather yummy. The service was thorough and attentive. You can tell that these people truly want their customers to be taken care of. We ordered a few drinks from their full bar to go along with the pizzas. I noticed a sign for happy hour 4−6pm at the bar only. One con is that there is only one bathroom for men and one for women downstairs which can lead to long wait times for the potty. But overall, I will definitely return and recommend this spot to others.

This was our 1st stop to grab some food on my second visit to NYC… and we found a gem! The last time we were here I was not impressed ATALL with the pizza places we visited. But Adrienne’s made up tremendously for that. Located in the financial district we were walking around aimlessly trying to figure out what we wanted when i asked a few people who had the best pizza in the area… and EVERYONE said Adrienne’s. Its a bit difficult to get to if you’re not from the area, but its kinda like restaurant row when you do locate it. We order two pies… which was way more that we need. Right amount of sauce, cheese, and toppings… but the best thing had to be the crust. Now I def enjoy a wood-burning pizza crust, but this pan pizza was amazing. This might be the only place I’ll get pizza from in NY ever again.

When your plane gets in late and you need a food date, That’s amore! When NYC seems to shine and you need a glass of wine That’s amore! I had a fancy dinner reservation in NYC. Food God had better plans for me. Enter 5 hour flight delay. Enter sitting at the airport looking at checkins on my phone for all 300 Unilocal friends. Enter seeing John V check in at a coffee shop next to my NYC hotel. Enter checkin comment«I need to see your face!». Long story short. John V kind of lives here. So when I actually arrived to the City that never sleeps, 5 hours post expected ETA, he introduced me to Stone Street. Quaint street tucked under the towering sky scrapers where outdoor seating packs the shut down street door to door. Here sits Adrienne’s. Great wine list at reasonable prices. The pizza was amore to the max. I’m not sure you can trust me since I was not eating carbs the week before and this was my first carb binge but I know my pizza and this was GREATPIZZA. And for the price, we both stuffed ourselves and still had half the pizza to take home. Value in New York? You don’t say! The ‘small’ antipasto sampler plate was not as described. And in the good way! It was HUGE! And every meat, cheese, tomato, pickled pepper etc on it was fantastic! A meal is a lot about who you share it with. So while there could not be a bad meal shared with John V, Adrienne’s delivered regardless! And perhaps I shouldn’t do carby lunch reviews reminiscing about sausage mushroom pizza at lunch time. Now I’m starving. Eat here and love it like I did.
