Excellent service and skills. I love Anna so much. I am an extremely sensitive skin, I used to use Lamer and Sisley, but sometimes my skin still have many problems like blackheads, breakout, redness, especially during season changes. Anna told me that I cannot use so much nutrition cream, the products not work for me. She gives me some products from her store, after using one month and doing facial every month, my skin is shinny and healthy. Also, redness not often happened. I recommend my boyfriend to do breakout facial care with Anna, his improvement is more obvious than me after one or two treatments. Anna really cares her customers! Highly recommend! Love her! Also love the products from her recommendation!

Just go. Schedule your appointment with Anna Antal. I came to know this place through a friend who raved about how amazing it was. I had a huge acne problem from stress at the time I came in. You can see the improvement practically after the 1^st or 2^nd facial. Anna consistently treated me and gave me advices on skin care and provided products. She used non chemical peels and after a few month, I am thrilled to say, the problems are almost all gone! She is hands down the most amazing facialist in the city. And even though she doesn’t like to brag, many celebrities go to her for skin care. As for the price, I think it is very fair, she will give you an idea and the range of the treatment plan she propose. Needless to say — trust her judgement and just go with it! I can’t thank her enough for all the care and thoughts she has put in to improve my skin. An amazing spa and woman of one of a kind!

Things to note:
–Plan on no plans post facial.
When you go in, you won’t know what you’re going to get. Every facial is customized to you on that day specifically. It may take an hour and a half, or it make take 4.
–You’re going to walk out with products. You just are.
–You’ll have a new definition of what a facial should be after you leave :)

I have never written any review but I felt that my experience here deserved one. I have had an issue with my skin for years and have been diagnose with with everything from Rosacea and Seborrheic Dermatitis and have tried all sorts of treatments, lasers and medications from various dermatologists and haven’t had much success. Those medicines will clear the skin for a short while and the condition will return short while after. My skin was bumpy, sensitive, flaky and flare up all the time with insect-​bite-​like spots.
Following my latest visit to the dermatologist where I was once again prescribe another higher dose of oral Acticlate and medical cleanser which made my skin much drier, I decided to search for other solutions, I mean… my skin cannot get any worse anyway. After searching for various places I decided to call Advance Skincare as it was close to my place and there was available appointment when I needed.
If you expect a pampered experience, this is not the place for you. The place is small and modest and Anna is super sweet. We spent about 15 minutes discussing my skin and history. And I was told that my condition was definitely not Rosacea! And that all the medications are tool strong for my very sensitive skin. We get started on my facial, Anna took the time to explain all the steps and products she was using on me. Ensuring that my skin is comfortable and I’m not feeling too much stinging. After a gentle exfoliation, she went on to steam and extraction. Extraction is definitely not fun and was so certain that it will leave marks after. And to my surprise there wasn’t a single red blotch on my skin after! She then went on to massage and gave me an oxygen treatment and a mask. Almost three hours later I left the place glowing for the first time in years! My skin was hydrated and comfortable and was told to not wash my face for 24hr! She arranged a home care set for me by Osmosis (she strongly believes in the line). I followed the régime religiously and within a week, my skin was finally smooth, soft to touch, not so much flakiness and no longer red or flare up! I was absolutely stunned with the result!
I went back for a follow up appointment 2 weeks later and even Anna was very pleasantly surprised by the improvements! For the follow up facial she tried some other products on me now that my skin is stronger and evaluate my status for other care products which have been added to my régime.
I strongly recommend anyone to try out Anna before you give up on your skin! She is a skin magician who is very passionate about her practice. The price is quite steep (and you won’t know the total till the end) but I believe that it is worth it! As for the product pushing I read in the other review, I have to say yes she recommended the products she believed will work for you and it it totally up to you to make that choice to purchase.

I am so happy that I found Advanced Skin Care. I have had acne prone and oily skin for as long as I can remember. Now that I have met Anna and have begun this journey with her, I know I am on my way to beautiful and healthy skin. I got an amazing facial suited to my needs, and Anna consulted with me until I understood completely what I need to do at home to get the skin results I desire. I can tell she truly cares about her patients as she is passionate about helping others. Today was only my second time seeing her and I already see a difference in my skin. I’m excited for my next visit!

I’ve had really problematic skin my entire life — acne prone and sensitive — and I never felt comfortable going out without makeup. I’ve been an ASC client for a little over a year now, and Anna has given me the skin I’ve dreamed of having since I was 12 — clear, calm, neither dry nor oily; just rosy and really healthy looking. From the first minute I could tell Anna really cared about my skin; she spent tons of time with me, and was thrilled every time I came back looking better and better (I was really diligent with the home products, but stretched the time between facials — every 6 weeks or 2 months instead of monthly.) The office manager and aesthetician-​in-​training Tamara is wonderful. I’m not kidding when I say they genuinely care about their clients — Anna and Tamara even came to the opening of my play! Just lovely ladies. It’s a significant investment of both time and money, but if like me you’ve wasted plenty of both over the years on dermatologists and fancy OTC products, you’ll be relieved to find a system that genuinely, immediately works.

This is my second review of Advanced Skincare and one that is absolutely necessary since I am so grateful to Ana for giving me the skin I’ve always wanted-​even toned, glowing and acne free. It feels amazing to not have to wear makeup (which is awesome since makeup application is not my forte). I can honestly say «I woke up this way» just like Beyoncé :)

I instantly related to the writers trials and tribulations with adult acne and after meeting with Ana almost two years ago I committed to a skincare régime that changed my skin from the inside out. I trusted Ana from day one as her passion for skincare is unmistakable. I’ve always believed that anything done with passion produces the most rewarding results. I embarked on my skincare transformation with realistic expectations knowing that good things take time and change doesn’t happen overnight. Just as with anything that is important to you-​you must commit and do the work (not just when you are getting a facial). Taking care of your skin is something that requires daily routine and it is a ritual that bring me so much joy. Anyone who is serious about investing in their skin should see Ana. You won’t ever have to deal with the countless spas or dermatologists out there ever again because you will have a person in your life who genuinely cares and will change your life. Long but necessary review. So bear with me!
I decided to give this place a try after reading all the great reviews. I was having some mild acne problems, so I went to see Gabriela (both owners were supposedly booked for life). The place is clean and has a doctor’s office feeling, and everybody is really nice and seems to care about you.
The first time was very long and expensive, as I let them use many recommended add-​ons (LED, peel, etc.). They were VERY pushy with their products, but I liked mine and only got one of them. My face was better for a few weeks, so I went back for a new treatment when my pores started to clog up again, and that’s when it all went downhill. Gabriela did a different treatment (more expensive, btw) and my face was crazy irritated when I left. Anna also suggested a completely different product regimen and again was very pushy, so I ended up getting it all (I liked the last treatment.).
My face only got worse and inflammated during the next few days, and then I realized that all products they recommended were terrible (tons of alcohol, menthol, olive oil — all horrible for acne skin). Things got so bad after that I had to see a dermatologist and trash everything I bought there.
They might be nice and care about you, but avoid this place if you have acne problems (and don’t buy any products!).

Advanced skin care is truly the best place to go for an amazing facial.
A little pricey but well worth it!!!
Anna is a great aesthetician and really knows her stuff.
I have been a client there for years.
When you have a facial you will feel your skin deeply clean and glowing.
The oxygen facial and eye treatments are wonderful for your skin.
I always walk out of there with perfect skin the treatments are like a miracle

Anna the miracle worker calmed down my irritated, extremely sensitive skin. Anna did not push products– rather, suggested them to me when I asked.
I’m taking home travel sizes of the products she used on me, and will order more online. I’ll be coming back to NYC soon, and I will definitely be visiting Anna again. If you have sensitive, irritated skin, don’t think… GO NOW!!!

I love Anna to death. She is the best esthetician in New York City. A true esthetician know their products and skin. She alway takes her time explaining each product and the steps. Give samples to try first. Because of her I have hope in my acne prone skin.

Aestheticians are a dime a dozen, they are on every street corner. But great aestheticians are hard to find. I am in NYC this week for family, but wanted to get a facial while here and remembered reading a blog review by INTOTHEGLOSS last summer, raving over Anna and the team at ASC.
I have had many, many facials, but not one like this one. I saw Anna tonight and this is really what I think. Anne, is beautiful in every sense of the word. She’s extremely knowledgable about skin, health and her products. She’s intuitive and understanding and is truly an educator at her core. Very inspiring to be in the hands of someone so in tune.
Not only does my skin look and feel freakin amazing, but it feels clean and healthy. Anna spent more than enough time with me today, explaining each and every product. I didn’t feel pressure to buy one thing, but wanted to, because I knew that it would make a difference in my skin.
My stepmom also had a facial today with Isabel, and raved about it.
I very highly recommend Anna or anyone at ASC.
My only regret in getting a facial at ASC is that I live in SEATTLE! If I was living in NYC I would book for ever 4 – 6 weeks, but, I will have to settle for every 4 – 6 months.

I have been going to ASC for a little over a year now and my skin looks and feels amazing. Marina is the queen of microdermabrasion. After my last treatment several friends asked if I had a litte work done. I can truthfully say that I always leave looking and feeling younger.

I went based on the glowing Unilocal reviews and wish I loved this place as much as everyone else did, but I found my experience to be subpar. First, I had to wait 30 minutes for my appointment. The receptionist interrupted the treatment only after I insisted I would reschedule as I would be late for my next appointment. When Anna finally came out from the treatment room, she insisted it was not her fault as the person before me was very late. While the fact that they give you the full hour of treatment is great for the person that is late, it is inconsiderate and unprofessional towards the person who has to then wait, especially when there is no separate waiting/​relaxation area. If a spa is booking appointments back to back, they should either cut the later person’s treatment short or allow more time between appointments.
The facial itself was fine and the treatment bed was actually very comfortable. I wish there was less product pushing though as I did not feel completely relaxed. Although my face glowed immediately afterward, the next day I didn’t really see a noticeable difference in my skin and would have preferred more extractions as well. I’m glad I gave it a try but I think I will stick with my new favorite Kim Laudati.

These women are blessings. There are no better facials or skincare products in NYC.
Don’t expect a dimly lit and candle strewn spa that usually cost $ 150+. Although expensive, these women have done more for me than any dermatologist ever.
Anna is my favorite. She is extremely honest, gentle and thorough. Marina is my second fave.
I love their Luzern Laboratories products. Way better than anything Sephora stocks.

I found Advanced year ago (1999? 2000?) while living in DC and joining my husband in NY for business trips. Since then, this spa has been on my «must visit» list every time we’re in town. I wear at least tinted moisturizer everywhere, but I can walk out of my facials with a glow that no make-​up can provide.
I have followed them from 3 different locations over the decade and will go wherever they take me. Each facial I’ve had is customized to my needs at the time and a skin care line has been recommended, but never forced upon me.
As it has been mentioned, the offices are modest but the clientele come for the services and not for the swank. If you need to look your best without worrying about having a reaction or looking like a plucked hen, this is where you want to go.

I had excellent service at Advanced Skin Care Day Spa. Used the special via Scout Mob app and had an hour and a half of attention. I left very relaxed and my skin looking much clearer. I’ve been to this location about 3 times and get facial & peels done.
The nice shoulder massages and hand treatments are a nice touch. I have no complaints. I just wish I could afford to go more often.

Georgette saved my feet!
I was in NYC for business and long days of nonstop walking took a toll on my feet. I had blisters, callouses, and worst of all, terrible ingrown nails! I searched online and found the spa and stellar reviews of Georgette. She did not disappoint! She spent a lot of time on me and she really knew what she was doing. She was also so sweet and treated me like I had been a loyal client even though it was my first time there.
I will definitely make this spot a mandatory visit whenever I’m in the city.

I’ve been coming here for five years. Anna, the owner, is a very sweet, patient and honest woman, who never pressures you. The owner and her employees are mature women (‘50s +) AND their skin looks amazing. Nobody wears any make-​up and/​or has a natural look. If you want to learn about your skin type and how to properly take care of it, learning from someone 2x your age or older is a wise decision.
Their operation is a modest set-​up (simple waiting area and treatment rooms). I encourage you to never judge a book by its cover as Anna and her team value knowledge and building a relationship with you. Its interesting because I clearly remember on my second appointment one of her team members was treating a very famous super model, and an editor for one of the top fashion magazine breezes in. Needless to say, I was shocked, however, I knew then that Advanced Skin Care is really one of those hidden gems.
