History
Established in 2013.
Dr. Corey Hunter founded the Ainsworth Institute in 2013. Its namesake is his late father, William «Bill» Ainsworth Hunter — a decorated Marine Corp Sergeant, U.S. Marshall, and Secret Service Agent. Bill had an unsuccessful battle pancreatic cancer in 2001 for which Dr. Hunter named the institute in his honor. His vision in creating the Ainsworth Institute was based on how his father’s Pain Management doctor allowed him to die with comfort and dignity. The premise was to provide every patient with the same care and respect his father received.
