Alaric Flower Design

I ordered flowers to be delivered to a dear friend of mine on the Upper West Side. Alaric Flower Design had the best reviews and pictures, so I chose them over other florists in the area. I was not disappointed! The arrangement was full, beautiful, fresh, and arrived right on time. My friend was delighted and I’ve been asked several times where the gorgeous flowers are from. I will certainly use Alaric Flower Design in the future and recommend to anyone looking for an elegant arrangement for any occasion.

We have been using Alaric Flower Design for a number of years. Mostly for corporate events when we have receptions or board events and they have always delivered. Katya who is our contact is super friendly and patient and always understands what we need.
Last weekend I used them for a personal event, a 70^th birthday party and Katya was fantastic! She was always patient with my never ending questions and changing the colors for the flowers and even accommodated my last minute order for next day delivery. It was effortless and flawless customer service.

Quaint flower shop gem hidden within Midtown Manhattan. Randomly walked into their shop looking for a small impromptu arrangement for a coworkers birthday. The florist quickly whipped up a gorgeous arrangement to her taste.

lovely people, lovely arrangements. it is so nice to speak with them on the phone. they made a last-​minute delivery for me this week; somehow the credit card # I gave them was not right, yet they made the delivery anyway and left me a nice simple message that my card didn’t go through. when I called back they were super relaxed and sweet. a breath of fresh air compared to other rushed/​stressed flower delivery locations I’ve dealt with. not to mention their arrangements are truly unique.

I’m very eclectic in taste when it comes to selecting flowers or just high quality in taste and this flower place had me hooked since the first time I picked up my first lilly arrangements. The owner of this place J, will not only tailor to your flower/​lily needs but they also deliver for any client that comes through their front doors. Hence the fact you are going to pay a more Taxing fee compared to your local deli or convenience store but like most women would agree that it can be more romantic when flowers are delivered to your workplace. Received a stunning anniversary bouquet from my husband. I was gushing about how he picked such perfect flowers. He said he just asked the florist to choose what she thought was best. They were amazing!

I walked over at 6pm on the off-​chance the studio would be open, and lucky for me, there was someone from Alaric leaning on the door!
In 15 minutes, I had an utterly beautiful bouquet of orange ranunculus, a sprig of some berry-​looking flower, and dianthus (fluffy green flowers) for $ 50. I couldn’t have been more pleased with the bouquet and happy also with the service.

This is the best flower shop in New York City. I ordered a flower arrangement for my assistant on the administrative professional day. The arrangement was absolutely gorgeous! When it was delivered to the office, everyone was very impressed and wanted to know the name and phone number of the florist. Everyone said they would order their next flower arrangements from Alaric Flower Design. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone!

Called after 5pm and was happy to hear she was open. A nice woman named Jen runs the place. She put together a lovely little bouquet of yellow roses and greenery in 10 minutes for my 80 year old grandmother. I went with a small order, but would trust her with a larger order. Definitely recommend this place! On top of subway sandwiches.

Ordered from out of state for a friend. They had just moved without me knowing and Alaric kindly called and redelivered the same day without a charge. My friend loved the flowers! I definitely would use them again.

I found this place by searching Unilocal while in California. Fast and delivered the flowers the same day. Great service and my friend loved the flowers.

These flowers are stunning!
My colleague put together an amazing event, and one of the things that we all remarked about were the flower arrangements that she had done. The next day, the rest of us decided to get her a couple of arrangements to say thank you for the spectacular evening that she gave to the rest of us.
I called up Alaric, and they were able to put together two great looking arrangements and deliver them that afternoon. The flowers arrived looking absolutely fantastic. I asked for something different than I saw on their website, and they were more than accommodating. Since I was ordering the same day, they give me everything that I wanted (ie I asked for peonies, but they wouldn’t have them until the next day). I can’t even imagine what they could’ve done if I had given a little more notice and time to actually design something!
I will say that they were a little bit pricey. I’m not one to buy flower arrangements all that often, but I was shopping around a little bit online and I noticed some other prices that were far less. But like I said, the flowers were stunning. I just wish there were more of them.

All I can say is wow, these flowers had the EXACT EFFECT that I wanted them to.
I ordered about a week and a half in advanced for Valentine’s day. After viewing some of the pictures on their site, I was able to describe the style and colors that I was looking for, and left the rest in their capable hands.
So for $ 150, I thought, this better be worth it.
On V-​day, they delivered at exactly 9:30 as stated, and I got a voicemail from my lady — totally impressed.
Later at dinner, she spent like 15 minutes talking about the flowers. They were so beautiful, and interesting, and everyone in her office came by her office and smelled and admired them — although according to her they didn’t need to come that close, the fresh medley of flowers could be smelled two doors down — each flower had it’s own unique smell, but the combination was a concoction to rival any perfume.

Realizing that it was Administrative Professional’s day was coming up, I frantically called the a bunch of florists near my office looking for an affordable, but beautiful arrangement. I got back quotes in the hundreds of dollars, yikes. Let me tell you just how lucky I was to find this shop.
Tucked away in this apartment style space in midtown Manhattan, is a florist who is not only talented but gracious. Although she hadn’t finished my arrangement when I had arrived for pick up (do you know how much New Yorkers love their administrative professionals? She must have had a hundred orders for that day), she stopped what she was doing to make me bouquet on the spot.
She ran around the room and picked up different kind of flowers, returning to the wall mirror occasionally to check the balance and coloring of the bouquet that was forming in her hands. She was quick as frail petals and excessive leaves were plucked before I even realized where she had pulled them from. In minutes, this beautiful bloom of flowers formed before your eyes. I had ordered a simple white bloom arrangement (or so I thought) and what I got was a full, beautiful bouquet enough to fill my arms. On my way back to the office, people kept glancing at the beautiful arrangement and I felt a slight tinge of jealousy that this bouquet wasn’t for me.
If you’re looking for a florist, go to Alaric. Do it.
