Halal sandwiches! !! The only downside is that the sandwiches are not bigger. But the taste is good. I recommend salami and pastrami sandwiches. Service is great and people are nice. Nice guy works at deli.

Three things set it apart from the other local deli in the neighborhood. Cleanliness, courteous staff, no losers hanging outside or inside the store. The prices are fair, food is safe to eat plus the little Esse will cook anything you like in a jiffy. Mo and his bro run the place like the Soup Nazi from Seinfeld so you’ll get your food and coffee quick.

The counter guy is awesome and friendly. Prices are fair. The sandwiches are standard for the area nothing to set them apart for a non-observer of Halal eating practices. It’s possible to wait a bit since at certain times there is a lunch rush. Cleaner than most delis around.

Only two reviews? What’s going on? This deli is a halal-eater’s DREAM. Choose any meat you can think of and they’ll make a delicious deli style sandwich for you at a very reasonable cost. I usually get the roast beef with munster cheese on a hero. it’s making my mouth water just thinking about it. Just make sure you have cash on you. Either they don’t take card or their machine is always broken, I forget which.

American Flag has been in the neighborhood as long as I can remember, and I know it’s been here at least as long as I’m alive. Way back in the day these people were Dominicans. I used to get my coffee during those early mornings when I has a zero period class in jr. high. I’d walk in and the guy would immediately be like«coffee light & sweet papi, I got you!», lol. Way back when they used to be open all night, but of course you have a demographic in the neighborhood that has nothing better to do than hang out in front of stores all day and night. The new crew(well not new anymore) shuts down around 11 or so, and that’s for the better. This place has of course changed hands over the years, but this is still a good deli. The current guys have been here more than 10 years and they’re always happy to see us when we stop in. Good food, good prices, friendly service. Just a good deli.

The deli here is pretty standard. Cheap prices on tobacco products as well. No beer but lots of other cold drinks. The grocery items are old and dusty. They are also way over priced. Not terrible but there are much better options around.
