APC

This location is just so horrible. I bought several items from this store yesterday to prepare a gift for Christmas, and the two clumsy sales associates completely messed up my plan. Guess what: the sweatshirt I bought for my friend has a freaking SECURITY TAG on it! What an embarrassment. Now I have to commute all the way down from UWS to return this shitty piece. Why return? Because I do not want to spend even a dime on APC anymore. How disappointing. What am I going to do with this failed gift? Such a waste of time. Shame on you.

I’ve visited this APC store two times and both times have received the best service I’ve ever received from any store in my life, hands down. During my most recent visit, I had the pleasure of meeting Jerome, who patiently assisted me for almost an hour. He is extremely knowledgeable of the brand and gives perfect advice on fit, styling, and other recommendations. I’ve been to about 4 APC locations in the US (all 3 in NY) and this location is without a doubt the best in terms of selection and service.
What I love about APC in particular is the value you’re getting for your money. The quality and construction of the pieces should actually warrant a higher price tag, but it still is reasonably priced. You can buy much lower quality clothes from other designers for a much higher cost. I will definitely remain a faithful customer to APC for years to come.
Note — be aware of the return policy. You have 14 days to exchange or store credit. So don’t buy anything unless you absolutely love it (which should be easy…)! :P

I purchased a pair of full-​priced $ 200 jeans from this location. The sales associate advised me to size down as they would stretch out a full size. When I got home, I tried them on again and decided they were too small and uncomfortable. When I went back to the store to exchange them, the store manager Libby told me that due to her opinion of «creasing in the knees» she would not accept them back for a store credit or an exchange. I was dumbfounded.
In today’s retail environment with so many choices and options, client relationships are critical and I was shocked at their inflexible and inexcusable customer service. A.P.C. lost a customer for life and I filed a complaint with the NY State Attorney Consumer Fraud & Protection Bureau for deceptive business practices.

Love the clothes, the brand, everything but the return policy sucks. If something looks slightly worn they won’t take it back. I had a pair pants I wore for a couple of hours that ended up being too big. I tried to return them the next day and they would take them
Back. Better to go to Bloomingdales or Barney’s to but as they have a more generous retune policy.

Awesome service and staff here. Much less foot traffic than the SoHo store and the design/​layout aesthetics are executed very well. If you are an APC denim junkie like me, you will not be disappointed. Great selection of Butler denim as well.
