History
Established in 2002.
In the heart of Manhattan’s Korea Town, on 32nd Street between 5th Avenue and Broadway, you’ll find Arirang Korean Restaurant. We’re a traditional style restaurant, serving up the best of Korean cuisine in an authentic, true to home style.
Among the bright lights and tall buildings of the NYC, we’re trying to spread the true tastes and flavors of Korea. We take pride in everything we cook, but our special hand made Kalguksu, or «knife noodles», is what we really hang our hat on. Hand cut, silky textured noodles in a giant bowl of delicious broth. A near perfect dish. This is what you get when you avoid the shortcuts of hurried, modern cooking and get back to the basics of culinary expression. Patience and determination are just as important as ingredients in our kitchen.
And you know what, the New York Times seeems to agree in this idea also; we were featured in the national newspaper for our authentic Korean cuisine.
