First time back in NY for a long time and was craving a REAL breakfast sandwich. Stopped by and got one and it was delicious. Getting fresh rolls and bagels is rarity where I’m from and it was a delight. $ 3.50 for a sandwich wasn’t bad at all. Also, they have a pretty nice salad bar as well. Nice place.

Your standard Manhattan deli. Variety, but nothing special or memorable. Sandwiches and salads galore.

Best coffee in the area, fruit selection is always well stocked. Lunch is okay, there aren’t too many healthy options on the hot buffet but the soup is good :)

Amazing place and great idea behind the café. All the food is open to take, it’s based on box system, box sizes available are small, medium and large. They have salad bar, main course section, sandwich station/deli, plenty of coffee types, probably all the available teas, huge list of chips and drinks. Beer is available for purchase too. See the pictures to believe it. *** LOVEDTHELOMIEN ***

I ordered through Grub Hub. They called to let me know that they don’t deliver over here even though it went through online and it said it would deliver to my work building. I put that order in around 11:30 or so and when they called I canceled it. I walked down the street and just got some food somewhere else. Around 1:20 pm, a delivery guy shows up at the door and has my burrito that I had ordered and had to cancel because they didn’t deliver to my building for still unknown reasons. Poor guy I had to tell him that the order was suppose to be canceled. Not sure why they told me they couldn’t deliver to me and then almost 2 hours after the fact they send him to me… after I spoke to them and had to cancel. Amateur hour over there.

Definitely recommend buying from here, especially for delivery. The price is a bargain! Considering how good the food taste and how much food i get. I usually order the Arome Burger with fries. I get filled up half way. The fries aren’t perfect though. Sometimes they can get a little soggy. The delivery guy is awesome. Very friendly. I always tip a lot.

The prices are reasonable enough, given it is NYC, and the selection is good. They have a large selection of hot food items, paninis, sandwiches, customizable salads and a plethora of beverages to choose from. Their coffee is actually pretty good and they offer a variety(Hazelnut, French Vanilla, French Roast, Decaf, etc.).

Very classic and solid NYC deli. It’s my go to lunch spot as I work nearby. Great made-to-order salad bar, and cold self-serve salad bar. I tend to avoid the hot self-serve, but that’s just me. Very good sandwhiches too. The place is well managed, a very attentive and friendly staff that seem eager to move things along. Even though there can be a line it zips very quickly. Probably not the best toursist spot(the upstairs eating area is kinda sad and the basement tables are downright depressing), but can’t be beat for a take out work option.

Arome has a long, self-serve hot and cold salad bar. They also have a large, friendly crew behind the deli counter making hot and cold sandwiches, wraps burgers, and salads to your specifications. They will make up a bagel or egg sandwich if you want in the morning. There is a long refrigerator case full of sodas and juices of all kinds and sizes. And they have an assortment of coffees and breakfast baked goods. Seating upstairs.

This deli is located right down the block from where I work; how convenient. I do enjopy the breakfast and it is good food. They sometimes do get your order wrong, but u just have to be on top of them, just because of the in flux of customers they get. GOOD in my book

great place to grab a quick breakfast or lunch. The chicken parm sandwich is excellent. stayed at the Hilton across the street for week and had breakfast at Arome every morning. great place to grab some bottles of water at a reasonable price. I wish there was a place like this where I live.

In my personal opinion, I think this is one of the better deli’s I’m lower Manhattan, when they deliver the food is always fresh and there breakfast, when it gets to you is always hot and you don’t have to order two or more orders for delivery.

Arome is home to two salad bar islands. There is one for hot foods and one for cold foods. They have a sandwich counter, where you can place orders. In the mornings, there are freshly cut up fruits, eggs, muffins, croissants and other breakfast foods occupying one of the salad bar fixtures. There is a self-service coffee area, where you can choose regular and some flavored coffees and a huge selection of drinks and beverages. I have tried a medley of hot foods and also a boiled egg in the morning. My boiled egg was submerged in cold water, I guess to keep it from spoiling. When I bit into it, I couldn’t taste any egg flavor, there was the green ring around the yolk which is a tell tale sign that the egg was overcooked. The lunch selection is pretty standard. You can get some chicken, fish, and meat selections with pasta, rice or noodles. I’ve tried various hot foods and the baked rigatoni is oily but tasty. The Caesar salad is delish too and mixed salad with radicchio was light. For the cold foods, there are a variety of fruit, salads, and other staples. There is upstairs dining. The two cashiers are speedy. The salad bar is $ 6.99 a pound. If you need to get lunch fast, this is a good place to go.

The deli has some decent sandwiches and wraps, as well as breakfast. The hot food bar looks appetizing, although I have not tried it yet. It’s a good place to get a quick lunch. However, the employees working behind the deli counter are hands down the most incompetent bunch of fools I have ever interacted with in my life. They are rude, and never hesitate to talk back. The deli counter could greatly benefit from one semi-competent employee who can take orders and expedite to the other employees, who are clearly incapable of working in an industry that requires face to face communication with people who don’t strictly speak in Spanish.

Arome is a big food court type place with lots of options to choose from — salads, sandwiches, soups, etc. I’ve been there a couple of times for lunch. I think it’s a great choice for those working downtown, as it is convenient to most of the office buildings and courthouses down there. The first time, I tried a wrap and really liked it — from my recollection, I got a shrimp wrap and really liked it. I appreciated that the people making my food told me that I could get a free water bottle with my meal. That was nice of them. The second time I visited Café Arome, I ordered the salad. I like the salad bar a lot — you have a large selection of salad types. I got a pretty cool/unique salad there, including octopus salad and crab cake salad — awesome! The salad choices weren’t anything that blew me out of the water and still can’t compare with Whole Foods salads, but I still thought my food was delicious and I truly enjoyed it. I will definitely visit Arome again and recommend it highly. The prices are reasonable and the food is tasty.

This place is pricey. The sandwiches can appear inexpensive at $ 5-$ 7 but then add a bag of chips and a drink and bam you easily spent $ 10 on lunch… again. The buffet is worse than getting a pre-made sandwich. Civi Deli, on Worth Street, is way cheaper and the food just tastes better. The only reason I go here once in a while is because of the upstairs seating(and of course because it’s across from my office). Occasionally I want to meet a friend for lunch and this works well for us.

Very good salads made to order– you have a choice of mixed greens or spinach and dozens of toppings. I like the spicy chicken with avocado and whatever else they have(five free toppings are included). At $ 5.99 per salad, plus $ 1 for chicken, avocado, hard-boiled eggs, etc., it’s a little pricey, but after they add all the toppings, the salad is HUGE. You’re set for either a giant lunch or a normal lunch with leftovers to snack on later. I haven’t tried anything else here, but I would. Everything looks delicious, the place is clean, and the employees are all friendly. Plus, the big seating area upstairs is super convenient if you feel like hiding out for a little while.

Lunch at Arome has become a daily routine for me. Everything about this place is nice and convenient. They make fresh salads, sandwiches, hamburgers, wraps, soups(at least three types), a WIDE and ethnically diverse selection of cold and hot foods, lots of drinks, about six different kinds of brewed coffee, healthy snacks… I try to pick something different everyday, but mainly a couple of items from the hot entrée section. So far I’ve been satisfied with the quality and taste of each one. Especially the fish and the warm veggies… they’re good. The place is clean and well organized, and the people are generally polite. The upstairs dining area is perfect to sit and unwind. I’ve never had a problem grabbing a table, but sometimes there are people standing around waiting for vacant seats… And I like the fact that they have a recycle bin for cans. One minor complaint I have(nothing’s perfect) is that they don’t label their foods… so you have to closely look at them and determine what they are, or ask the staff. Really, 4.5 stars for now!
