The food looked good but my wrap wasn’t so amazing. Worst service ever, I waited 10min even if the store was empty and the staff was really rude.

Regularly come here for the ham and cheese croissant or apple cinnamon croissant. The staff are nice and friendly. Other than that, another au bon pain chain.

I received a free birthday coupon for either a sandwich or a salad. The manager was extremely rude even though she didn’t know that I had a birthday coupon. When I asked her to replace one item for another she said that she was going to charge me extra for it. When I received my salad the portion was around HALF the size of the usual order. My friends recently received their coupons and at the other sites they NEVER charged extra. When it was time for the register the lady behind the counter was nothing but disrespectful. She insisted that I showed her my New York State I.D. even though my school I.D. had a photo and birthdate on it. The other Au bon Pain never asked my friends for any sort of I.D. Overall the trouble was unnecessary and the level of disrespect was unbelievable.

I come here, because it is near my job. I normally get their treats, but since it was cold I decided to try their soups. I was sampling their soups, they only had 3 or 4 to sample. As I’m there sampling before deciding what flavor to buy. I am being followed and then stared at by a gentleman who says in a condescending tone Man: You gonna buy a soup? Me: Yes, why Man: I see you sampled 3 soups already I wanna make sure you buy. Me: Yes. I’m seeing what they taste like, before I decide on one. Why are so quick to assume I’m not paying. Is it–(cuts me off) Man: I gotta look out for my store!(He walks off) I almost felt like I was racially profiled. I didn’t do anything different than I’ve done in other Au Bön Pain stores, but was even more appalled to find out this man who goes by the name of Edward is their store manager. Incredibly rude and no customer service skills for someone who represents their store in a managerial capacity. It seems other people have shared some experience of his rudeness based on other reviews and it has rubbed off on some of his staff members. I think I was racially profiled on Martin Luther King day of all days 1÷18÷16. SMH If you ever get to read this Edward, please learn to approach customers with more respect. Maybe a «Hello, excuse me, but we only allow a certain number of samples of the soups» is much better than your abrasive judgmental approach. While I like Au Bön Pain products, I will not come to this particular store again and will let my all my co-workers in my building know to avoid this location if possible.

I ordered the Smoked Salmon Wasabi bagel this morning. There was something hard that I could not bite through in the sandwich. Shortly after eating the sandwich I vomited. I think there was something bad in this breakfast sandwich.

I went there Sunday noon. –2 stars because the really poor selection of beard and salad for a regular day) less than ¼ of the shelves are filled with bread and I guess prolly left overs from previous days…) not sure if because that it’s weekend and they don’t expect many clients. –1star because I wanted to buy some gem/holiday season specials that I saw at Woodbury outlet store yesterday and found none there… I indeed enjoyed the visit at Woodbury yesterday and decided to visit again today. Very disappointing experience, and think I would cross out it from my visit list for now.

Hot sandwich and some coffee. No complaints. Try the turkey one. Got those 6 mini cookies in the plastic container. Good cookie fix.

I went there this Thursday at 745am. The chairs were still upside down on the right hand side tables. Anyone wanting to sit down would have to move the chairs to the floor first. There was food bits on the benches on the other side that looked like it had been there from the day before. This happens a lot at this location. Does this place have a manager? I like their coffee so I go back every so often, but I’d like this place more if the management cared more.

Slowest staff ever, sometimes rude. If you want to make it to work in time, arrive early!

Let me preface by saying I frequently visit the Maiden Lane location however I was close to this location on my way back to work so I figured I would give it a shot. When I was waiting to order I noticed that a manager was taking the orders. That’s great customer service. I perhaps had high expectations. After I ordered, a woman accidentally knocked a table and a small container of cookies(one of those $ 2 plastic balls with a few small cookies) fell off the table and broke open on the floor. The manager goes«You dropped my cookies» to the general group of people near the table and picked them up and threw them away in a scoff while glaring at the three poor girls. After I order a man goes to order and halfway through the manager answers the phone and ignores the patron. After hanging up abruptly(probably telemarketers) he turns to the patron and asks him to repeat, since clearly he didn’t care the first time and didn’t say«excuse me» before answering the phone. I ordered my sandwich and requested it be made on multigrain bread instead of the ciabatta it comes on. After getting back to my desk(I took lunch to-go) I open the box and see the sandwich is on Ciabatta and that my request was ignored entirely. Definitely sticking to the maiden lane location.

Meh… The service was slow and all the ladies behind the counter looked confused or like they just did not want to be there. I like Au Bön but I’ll find another location to frequent

Great pastries overall, there is always something new and unique. This location is oddly dimmer then the others though, besides the night vision needed their selection is up to par.

I love an Au Bön Pain bagel with land O’Lakes butter and the pastries! Apologies to my arteries. Compared to other Au Bön Pain’s I’ve patronized this location is whack. The lighting in here is very poor and it’s not inviting at all. A manager never seems to be visible and forget about a greeting. The young lady who prepares the sandwiches and bagels has the driest personality and usually utters something inaudible with a blank stare when I walk up. She might be saying«go eff yourself» but I can hardly hear her, so I in turn just order a bagel. I give them 3 stars because I love their bagels –which tend to be fresh, the flavored coffee and it’s never crowded.

First of all I want to say that I really like Au Bön Pain as a chain. I have been to the location in Fidi on Maiden lane at least 30 times with friendly service and the food you would expect at an Au Bön Pain. Now that I have a new commuting pattern I figured I would try the Fulton location since it is more convenient. Not worth it! I walk in and go straight to the breakfast sandwich area. Both people working had there backs turned for a while before one decided to turn around to take my order. Annoying since I am trying to get to work on time but not a deal breaker. The girl takes my order and I stand to the side to look at the coffee. After a few minutes I go back near the counter and wait some more. I see two people get their food who ordered after me by the guy behind the counter while the girl preps for lunch. I keep standing there and the guy eventually realized I was standing there for a reason and asked what I ordered. I give my order again. Instead of saying oh I’m sorry we skipped your order by accident he rudely asks if I had just ordered recently. I say no. He just turns his back and finally makes the meal while the girl who took my order says nothing and continues prepping. All rude and unprofessional behavior but was willing to ignore it because all I was looking forward to was my favorite breakfast sandwich, the egg white, avocado, and cheddar on a skinny bagel. When I got to my office to eat my meal, what I actually ended up with on top of all of the rudeness is why I am writing this review. Not one thing went right with my experience. The sandwich was completely crushed and throw together, and it fell apart when I picked it up. I didn’t stuff the sandwich in my purse. I just held the bag it came in. DON’T GOTOTHISLOCATION! I love this Au Bön Pain. Ok I love it cause its right near my folks place and I load up before going home. Im a big fan of the Thai Chicken wrap which has white meat chicken, carrots, avocado and a good peanut sauce. My new obsession is this thing called the Crosbun which I guess is their take on the Cronut. It is a muffin type bun with a croissant style texture, filled with a stupid good Mocha ganache and topped with raspberries. Insane. I wonder why my waist is growing… the cherry danishes are pretty good too. Service is fast and friendly.

Go here for breakfast in the morning when in the area prior to a meeting. Only compliant is service behind the counter and it would be a great if the staff wiped off the tables and chairs. Kind of disgusting.

On New Years day, nothing else was open. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. The quality of the ingredients was quite good. Despite it’s messy presentation, I liked the crust of the bread, the way that the turkey shreds apart, and the generous heap of avocado. The only thing wrong with it was the sickeningly sweet honey mustard sauce. The ingredients are good enough to speak for themselves, no need to overdress.

I am so happy that there is an Au Bön walking distance from my office. This review is based on a single visit to this location. I got the soup and half sandwich combination and it was the perfect portion for lunch and for the price. Instead of half a sandwich I chose half a wrap(it is just a smaller version of regular wrap) so that I could satisfy my hot soup craving and also have my favorite Thai Peanut Chicken wrap. There were a lot of soups to choose from, which I was pleasantly surprised to see in what looks like a smaller location than I’m used to.

You had ONEJOB Au bon Pain. One job! And that was the turkey cubano I wanted. I had been seriously craving a cubano from Sophie’s, but given how I’ve been on this whole«healthier eating» kick I decided to turn it down a notch and get a turkey one from here. So its supposed to be shaved turkey breast, ham, relish and mustard on ciabatta. Ok it’s no Sophie’s but I was willing to give it a try. Until they told me they were out of ham. Out of ham? Really? The guy making my sandwich offered to substitute chicken breast which I said was fine, but honestly all I got was a hot fowl sandwich. Not a cubano.

2 stars because staff is wonderful but I am sorrowly disappointed in the lack of inventory because its a café… not the full service store. all baked goods are delieved not baked in store so the quality does not serve public interest, just more like selling up to a quota. They never are stocked with enough baked goods. Their breakfast sandwiches arent made on a grill. More like Starbuck… Its cooked in a big microwave. This café cheapens the brand and makes me want to boycott it because it is not fully operational or they don’t practice proper inventory management
