I can’t rave about this place enough!!! i called in a large breakfast order yesterday to be delivered today. Spoke to Billy (who is amazing!!!) and gave him a rather difficult order and he wrote everything down. Well today we received everything perfectly organized! i’m amazed. They labeled everything with the names i gave and the order was 100% correct. The food was unbelievable! so fresh and delicious. This will be my go to place for office catering from now one! i’m so impressed. Highly recommended, trust me you wont be disappointed!

The 2 guys have an attitude behind the counter and on top of that served me a hot wrap cold the cheese wasn’t even melted…

I would give this a 3.5 if I could. The food is good, although somewhat overpriced ($ 6 is a lot for a breakfast sandwich). I never order any of the premade things so I can’t speak on that. The service is good and fast and the staff are always so friendly!

Excellent food and fast delivery. The salads are amazing, plus the burgers and paninis.

Went here for lunch and the sandwich was $ 6.00 compared to 4 at the corner deli. The bread was stale and dry. Also I wanted to buy something sweet and they had it marked at twice retail $ 4.00 for peanut butter cups

Their wraps are great! Try the grilled chicken with spinach, honey mustard, and provolone wrap. It’s was very fresh. I bought my friend here and they agreed it was delicious.
Also the woman who owns the shop is super friendly. I once ordered home fries and was mistaken for fries and she called me back and gave me back my money. I really appreciated the integrity she showed and support it when I feel like having a wrap

When they first opened up, Bagel Tree was great… everything was delicious and fresh. Everything has went down hill. The salads are served with grilled chicken that is not fresh. I tried to order a sandwich on a Panini and was told that everything is pre-​made and I can’t order a sandwich on a Panini. The menu clearly says that they can make cold cut sandwiches, but don’t have any cold cuts other than turkey, prosciutto, or ham. What happened to bologna or salami? I ordered a egg and american cheese sandwich last week that had a distinct «refrigerator smell» and the cheese was not even melted! What is going on? What ever happened to customer service? At this rate, you will lose a lot of business!

The service has went downhill and rude. The salad, paninis, cream cheese, tuna salad, and the other stuff inside looks like it’s been sitting there for quite a long time. You can tell by the texture it’s not fresh. I don’t feel welcoming anymore, I feel like this place is about to shut down.

The Mexican Woman working at the register was very rude to my mother! My mother has been ordering from this place for the family since it opened for my family and the other day the woman at the register ridiculed her by saying that because she complains too much about her meal the owner has banned her from the restaurant! The cashier asked the cook to side with her even though my mom said she never complains and this was only her first time. We have been passing by to see if we can meet the owner ourselves to see if what she said was true, this place needs better help for sure! I am truly disappointed!

Delicious breakfast sandwich! Perfect ratio of egg to cheese to bacon, all for only $ 4.25. Could use a little more seating though.

I went inside this place for a drink, a protein bar and a banana. the women who was at the register was rude and very reluctant to assist me. she gave no smile no good morning or at least may i help you. I asked for something that was behind the counter and she eanted me to reach over and get it myself, she through the shopping bag on the counter and wanted me to bag it myself. i asked her why she was behaving like that and she touched her skin and said to me «you are black this is not your country». She was latino or central american and she was being racist. I had a very bad experience.

The bagels left very much to be desired. The sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwich was ok for the most part but the poor, dunkin donuts quality bagel really brought it down by the time I was done eating it. I will say, the employees were very nice and there are a lot of good options. If only the bagels were good :/​I won’t be retuning, it’s worth the train ride or walk elsewhere

I’ve been working in this area for the past 14 years and finally have a quality place to eat.
On the positive side, the place is nice and clean and the staff is very friendly. The food quality is good and the food is fresh.
The salads are great as well as the burgers (fries are not that great) Free WIFI with seats too.
The breakfast menu is pretty good too.
On the negative side, it is the prices. The nickname we give at our work is the robbery joint because they will take your money. I’m always surprised how much I pay for any Item there including the coffee (sucks)
I guess I’m surprised because where the store is, Spanish Harlem not midtown Manhattan. This area had changed a lot in 14 years and this store represents the change so myself and my coworkers are still getting used to paying close to $ 10 for a sandwich and drink (the building where this store is was built around 3 ago)
Again, quality, cleanliness, food and staff are very good but it can be pricey.

The convenience of this location for me means that I keep going back, but the experiences could be better. Service for sandwiches is still pretty slow, and since there’s usually only one person making them, if you go in with a friend or a small group you could wait a while.
I finally got around to trying the fruit-​flavored cream cheese, which was a tremendous disappointment. It tasted neither fruity nor sweet; basically the flavor was that or regular cream cheese, but the additional cost for the fruit was pretty outrageous.
Their display case of ingredients for sandwiches and salads sometimes looks like the foods aren’t getting much turnover. I saw some rather brown broccoli today and some bleu cheese crumbles that looked like they had seen better days… many, many days ago. Definitely not appetizing.
The store is also beginning to stock a selection of European snacks, including a lot of delicious chocolates, but they are very pricey and I can’t see them flying off the shelves.
Bagel Tree is still my preferred stop for some decent deli food in East Harlem, but I think it’s not living up to its potential.

Recently opened this neighborhood food shop makes some of the tastiest sandwiches, best bagels and fresh chopped salads. In a neighborhood that has a long way to go like East Harlem, you can count on getting some fresh great tasting food here. It’s very clean and well attended by the friendly staff. I will definitely be coming back for more great food!

Love this place. They are new in the neighborhood so they are adjusting, but so far it’s wonderful. Super clean, friendly staff, quick service. And now they have WiFi! Plus the bagels are great. Best bagels in this neighborhood by far. This is definitely my new spot.

This is a great development for the neighborhood. I am giving it 5 stars, not because the bagels are extraordinary (they are pretty good, however) but because this type of establishment is so sorely needed in our corner of East Harlem. I was also surprised at the friendly service.

I’m so excited this place is finally open! Its clean, a nice size, and has a great selection of bagels, hot and cold sandwiches and deli items. It even has soy milk and coconut water in the bottled food section. The service was good everyone is very polite, I’m not sure how quick they will be if there is an early morning rush but they are new. Its a great addition to the neighborhood. I had a large hazlenut coffee with soy milk, and an everything bagel with Scallion cream cheese for just under $ 6.

It took this place forever and a half to open but it finally opened its doors this morning.
For breakfast I ordered an everything bagel, scooped out with egg and sausage. Nothing complicated. Took a while to make but ok, $ 3.50 +tax. The bagel itself is pretty good, fluffy and easy to pull apart. I like my everything bagels heavily seasoned so I think it could use more on the top. Sausage circle on top of two scrambled eggs, it reminds me of living down in midtown. For now I give it an ok. The prices on the bottled beverages is kinda high for the area, im not sure how this place is going to hold up over time but we shall see.
Their take away menu has a slew of spelling errors which I find entertaining but non-​professional at the same time.
