Smells like a dead rodent. The beads are not all clearly labeled. Nobody offered to help. It was extremely cramped. Smelled like a dead friggen rat. Very cheap looking add-​ons. Did i mention it smelled like a ginormous dead rodent?! It smelled. And everybody acted as thought they couldn’t smell it.
Will NOT be back. The end.

Although the store is small there is a lot of great stuff to be found. They really pack in the beads to give you a lot of options. The employees were really helpful in locating what I wanted. I was looking for a sneaker charm, which they didn’t have, but the employee there looked through all their charms with me. I did end up getting some other beads including some of the crystals and pearls. They were priced ok. I looked online later and the kit I bought was available for $ 2 less online. Maybe it’s a surcharge to help pay the rent?

This was a small store but I found exactly what I wanted. Me and my mother bought 10 bags of tribeads and they bring 600pcs per bag for $ 2.75 each (compared to 1k for $ 7 at other stores).
I will go here again to buy more beads: D.

Omg I bought 4 large packages of jump rings half silver tone half gold tone. I see in only 2 days the gold jump rings have turned almost black. They haven’t been worn in the shower or any other water source. Just around the neck. What a disaster

I LOVE Beadkraft. I am a beginner at jewelry making and I wanted a go to place for all my beads and materials, and this place is definitely it. I have bought huge bags of beads for $ 2.75, and I was able to make over five bracelets with them. I have also bought semi-​precious bead strands ranging from $ 5-​$ 12. The tools are also cheap. They even have packaging boxes and bags for $ 4 and up, and also storage boxes the most expensive one is $ 9. This place is pretty small but they have a ton of material!

This is such a great place to go! I was looking for a place that would have some studs and spikes to add on to some beanies I didn’t really want to buy any online and this place has it all. All different studs with different shapes, and great affordable prices. The workers there are so great. Not many stores have that great customer service and I can truly say this store does. This is my second time coming and the mood has not changed. Very friendly and outgoing, this is my new place to shop.

I went in looking for small ziplock baggies, and they have a wide range of sizes for cheap cheap prices!
They also had some fun looking strands of beads and baubles and nice looking drawstring fabric gift bags. I will come back a third time for the holidays!

This place was great for my one stop shop for jewelry/​beading craft store. I’m a newbie at jewelry making and loved that the staff was very helpful. She was very attentive and resourceful. She gave me help on which gauge of wires to use, what type of jump/​split rings as well as tips. The prices were pretty good too compared to the few other beading stores ive been too. They sold seed beads by the lb. $ 12 for a mult color or single color one as well as crystal beads. Different studs, nylon wired, clasps, chains, craft tools ($ 6 a piece i.e. pliers, cutters, etc.) The place was very clean and organized. Will definitely come back for my next diy fix. I love this store. I decided to restart my beading business and Bead Kraft has the cheapest, good quality materials. This store is really great for the basic materials like: wires, tools, earring hooks, crimp beads, headpins, eyepins, etc. They also have a great online store. I received all my items in about 3 days, and they sent me emails whenever my package was recieved, processed, and actually on the UPS truck totally impressed.

I’m a beginner beaded and went there today based on previous reviews. The woman working there was knowledgable and very accommodating. The prices are great based on other stores I’ve been to. The selection wasn’t the biggest bit there is plenty to choose from and based on my great experience this will be my go to bead store

I guess I expected a wider variety so I felt a little disappointed. I ended up finding something that would work ok, but it’s also because I forced myself to buy something since I had come out of my way and really needed beads for my project. The place is tiny and I felt like the color options weren’t enough for each type of bead (mainly the Swarovski crystal beads) and I couldn’t find the beads in the size I had originally come for, but my project was flexible so I settled for a different color and size. Prices were a tiny bit higher than I expected after reading the other reviews, but the Unilocal discount softened the blow, though one cashier initially refused to honor it until I made her ask another one who accepted it without hesitation. I’ll try some of the other stores in the area to compare prices and variety before deciding whether to return or not.

Nice people. The 40 for 30 deal works all the time. They have a decent selection and fair prices. If your a kandi master this is a good store!

as an avid jewelry designer, i walk all the streets on nyc in search of jewelry supplies and this one is tough to beat. they have a great selection of findings, semi precious stones… basically anything you need to make jewelry. the best part is, they dont sell stuff by the piece like beadworld or toho. they sell them in bulk packs for ridiculously cheap. it’s a wholesale store and as long as you purchased a single package, you can buy at that wholesale prices. a great place to buy leather cord too — cheapest i’ve been able to find in the city.

Bhens Productc Co./Bead Kraft has a very nice selection of beads (crystals, pearls, glass pearls, etc). as well as findings. The findings are sold in large quantities which allows for nice discounts.
The prices are very good and the staff is very friendly and willing to help.

I looooove making things. As much as I love stuffing my face in fact and I have frequented the bead stores in this area for years. I’ve learned where to go for certain things.
I recommend shopping around the area before committing (even if you fall in love with something) to buying whatever it is you’re looking for at any of these stores because they all have something going for them in terms of products they specialize in and random discounts on things that the rest of the stores are selling for more.
That being said, I stopped into BeadKraft today and I think it is definitely worth checking out if you’re on a quest for beads/​supplies. It’s a small store, but they have an interesting variety of items.
As far as the great prices I saw here, I noticed that they sold bags of metal barrettes, bags of certain types of beads and those see-​through drawstring fabric jewelry pouches (also in packs of several bags) for very reasonable prices. My favorite part about the packs of bags was that they were packaged in a variety of colors.
If making hair accessories is you thing, definitely stop by here. They seem to be pretty stocked up in that department. Some of the other things I saw here include strands of faceted glass beads, seed beads, an assortment of feathers and fabric flowers, findings, chain, cord and beading supplies, the list goes on. The staff were friendly and helpful.
I left with a bag of kitschy plastic beads that I’ve been searching for since the 80s and had no idea they were still manufactured anymore and a 12 pack of multicolored pouches. I was happy!
