COMPLETERIPOFF! I bought facials as a Christmas gift for my mom and sister and apparently this is how this joke-of-a-spa does facials… 1) Starts 20 minutes late 2) 1 lady performs 2 facials at the same time in the SAMEROOM and moves back and forth from customer to customer. So basically you are paying for ½ of a facial. I called and the manager tried to say that this is normal business practice. I quite frankly do not want to pay $ 100 for a shared facial with another person. Do NOT waste your time or your money on this joke of an establishment.

this was another of my spaweek finds. only been here twice. i am not a fan of their cheesy décor at all(think grandma’s house with old looking flowered sofa in waiting room, red curtains in the massage room and not even new massge tables but old wooden ones than when the therapist began to apply pressure to my back, i heard it creak). Red is not a soothing color when the room is meant to be for relaxation. lol ocean pictures on the walls and gold candle wall sconces on the wall don’t match so what kind of look are they going fo? salvage spa? recycle chic? anyway, you do not get a sheet and blanket to cover yourself with on the table but just a long towel. maybe i’m just spoiled to more upscale spas but i came to them due to location. the therapist Ryo, is male and was very good. he is not the same therapist i had on my first visit with them so he is the only improvement i see from my 1st trip. They don’t even have a water cooler for you to drink from but a milk jug bottle sitting outside, warm with some glasses nextto it in the waiting room. I don’t think they try to sell retial products there since what i saw was behind the counter and no one tried to sell me anything. Frankly, i could barely see them being behind glass and then with the low lighting. I have never seen the facial room so i don’t know how up to date their equipment is or who the tech is. If i could get another $ 50 massage from Ryo then i would consider it(didn’t buy another one while i was there). I will make the trek further uptown to Madison and stick with Exhale for massages or Spa Merge.

I was going here for almost 2 years for laser hair removal. I wasn’t getting the results I felt I should have and after getting lame excuses as to why from my technician, I decided to try another spa(The Skin Spa). After only 1 treatment with Laura, my underarm hair has yet to grow back! Laura was amazing and told me that Beauty Wellness was not using the correct laser for my skin type and they obviously never increased the settings. I’m really annoyed that I’ve basically been ripped off for the past 18 months! Hopefully I can save someone else from spending $ 1,000 and getting poor results!

Went back this past weekend for a collagen facial with Karina. My face feels like a baby’s behind. Simply fantastic, relaxing experience and amazing results. I am glowing =)

I have been coming here for the past 2 years and I love this spa. There is no high-end fancy décor, no luxury perks. What they have instead is serious relaxing and effective spa services. Every time I get a facial here, I feel so relaxed and my face feels soft, radiant and smooth. I would highly recommend the spa week packages. You can buy as many as spa gift certificates as you want for $ 50 and use it within 6 months.
