Ms. Sinclair’s conjuring session was amazing. She shares some of her knowledge of the history of magic, her ability to read people and even gives you a peek behind the curtain as to how she performs some of the illusions. And even though she tells you it’s a trick and that she cheats, she then shows you unbelievable illusions. Her close up magic skills and ability to spin a story made for a magical afternoon in her conjuring room.

She makes interesting points about history and connects them to the reality of the viewer.

Ms. Sinclair offers a warm, engaging and intimate display of expert closeup magic. However, what makes the show so unique is her effort to educate in a friendly, supportive way on a varriety of topics. Audiences leave the show in a great mood, entertained and informed on a variety of subjects.
Folks leave this show with a more trained eye, realizing thay — while Ms. Sinclair is perfomring feats of magic to entertain — the world around them is playing tricks on everyone else every day. That’s a bargain.

My brother is a magic show fan and we decided to go see Belinda’s show when he was in town recently. What a marvel and such great entertainment — we loved the intimate nature of the show (our performance had six folks) and were befuddled by Belinda’s talent and tricks! A perfect way to spend a snowy afternoon — we can’t wait to see her next show! Such a great personality and a fascinating life story — truly an inspiration. Her helpers are also the best!

Belinda Sinclair had me at hello — wow, a more enjoyable evening I haven’t had in a long time. Belinda’s nonstop patter as she performs her card tricks and sleight of hand is both informative and amusing. She is a kind, sensitive person who wound up our show with some personal insights into the various concerns and dreams of those in attendance. She’s insightful, smart and very funny. I highly recommend her show and am really looking forward to her next one — it will be performed blindfolded! I found myself wishing I could sit and talk with her afterwards, and I suppose that’s the idea — leave ‘em wanting more.

My wife and I spent 2 amazing hours with Belinda on Sunday afternoon/​evening. I love magic and the stories that go with it, and chose to go to Belinda’s show for my birthday. The room, the engagement with the entire group and of course the magic made for a spectacular experience. Whether you live in New York or are visiting, an afternoon or evening with Belinda is something for which you definitely should plan.

Having an extroverted personality, I often find inspiration through others and their experiences. I visited Belinda’s conjuring room on January 7^th with a friend expecting some great slight of hand. What I experienced in that room was so much more. Throughout the show I was captivated by her stories and empowering words of encouragement… her passion and dedication to her craft is incredibly… tangible. Being totally honest… I truly believe that what happened in that room changed my life… an experience I will never forget. She gave me a gift that night. A new outlook if you will. The way I perceive reality and the way I perceive my own life goals and achievements are forever changed. I encourage… No… challenge you to sit in front of her and behold what Belinda can do for your mind, spirit and body. GO.

Took my girlfriend to Belinda’s performance Saturday night. How wonderful. It’s a tiny space, and each person (10 people) gets plenty of special attention. There is plenty of excellent close-​up sleight of hand and magic. There is also great story telling and history. One thing I loved was that it was clear Belinda loved the work. She was having just as much fun as us. She has a new show coming out soon and I’m 100% going to see that, and I’m also recommending this show to my friends.

Spent a wonderful night in Belinda’s Conjuring Room watching her magic and listening to her spell binding stories. Definitely a terrific gift to yourself and your friends! Go! Go! Go!

I visited the Conjuring Room on New Year’s Eve and what a wonderful event to start the celebration of the new year. Truth be told, I’ve known Belinda for years thru several unrelated sets of friends, and have seen her do a few card tricks at parties, but this show she’s created is a really special thing. Belinda is not only a awesomely skilled magicienne, but a gifted story teller and full-​on compelling performer. I kept thinking as I was sitting there with my wand (she hands out these really cool magic wands that light up and make magic noises for approval!) this is what my experience of New York theater used to be like in the early 90’s when I first moved here… I would hear about a theatrical show-«thing” — happening in some little hole in the wall, and would get a ticket on a whim or on someone’s recommendation and get buzzed into an unassuming dark building which often turned out to be a kind of portal – a link to some mysterious oasis I’d never experienced before… where just a handful or two of people would convene and witness a performance that both affirmed and challenged their perceptions. This is what Belinda does. The show is completely immersive, it takes you away to another time (and the cookies and tea were pretty awesome too). I see a lot of performance, from Broadway to basement theater stuff, music, dance etc., and I know the mark of a powerful show is when the audience doesn’t want to leave afterwards – they want it to go on or at least to connect with each other just a bit longer and preserve the feeling in the room, and in their hearts… that is the kind of experience I had at the Conjuring Room, so generously and magically preformed by Belinda Sinclair.

Another amazing performance and show by the always entertaining Belinda Sinclair. It’s a small intimate setting in an apartment with no more than 8 people. Beyond just the magic, she tells stories and shows us some tricks to try out on our own. It’s close to 2.5 hours of a truly entertaining time!

Belinda’s Conjuring Room is a phenomenal experience full of magic and mystery. You are taken on such a special journey through the history of, not only magic — but women in magic and their important place in the evolution of science, medicine and our own understanding of spirituality. The magic is stellar. And if you are even just a sightly interested fan, you will be charmed and mesmerized! Go … it’s a very fun and enlightening evening!

Belinda is just THE BEST magician of all times! What a beautiful show!!! I went to the show with two friends… we loved it… and we kept talking about it for days! I’ve seen Belinda Sinclair perform in the past. Last night I went to The Conjuring Room and what an experience! Belinda’s magical skill set and history of women in magic is unparalleled. I felt transported back in time, educated, mesmerized and baffled. How does she do what she does? Magic while blindfolded? It’s obvious Belinda Sinclair has a passion for magic and boy can she back it up. Please go see her show. I’d love to see this show evolve to a larger audience. I’m going back for sure and bringing friends who don’t believe. Loved it!

I recently went to see Belinda Sinclair’s show, having seen many other magic performances, but having no idea what kind of treat was in store for us. She is not only an AMAZING close up magician, but she creates a wonderful, transportive atmosphere of warmth, welcome and charm. Her love of the craft is shared with her guests along with tea and cookies in an intimate «conjuring room», evocative of a Victorian parlor. Even the shyest will raise their hand to volunteer in this fabulously immersive experience. You’ll leave wanting to return as soon as possible!
