Park East Animal Hospital has been providing the pets of New York City with the finest animal health care available for over 50 years. Founded by Dr. Lewis Berman, one of the country’s best known and respected animal practitioners, Park East offers a level of medical service and compassionate care that is unmatched.

Dr. Berman leads the team of highly trained veterinarians and technicians at Park East, whose medical skills are regularly updated and expanded through continuing education and seminars. When needed, board certified orthopedists, dermatologists, neurologists and ophthalmologists are called upon for consultations as well as specialized surgery, supplementing the expertise of our resident staff.

We maintain a technician on duty 24 hours a day for after-​hour emergency calls and nursing support. Our technicians answer your questions and relay messages to one of our veterinarians who will respond promptly.
