Specialties

In 2003, visionary Pharrell Williams partnered with Japanese fashion icon Nigo to launch two premium menswear collections: Billionaire Boys Club and ICECREAM.

Following Pharrell’s billionaire mantra «Wealth is of the Heart and Mind, Not of the Pocket,» Billionaire Boys Club targets the connoisseurs of menswear. Original graphics are created by Japanese design legend SK8THG (pronounced «Skate Thing»), who is similarly responsible for designing many iconic graphics for A Bathing Ape.

ICECREAM, taken from ice (diamonds) and cream (money), is infused with candyland-colored graphics inspired by 1950s Americana. The couture skate line focuses on loud ice cream printed images also created by SK9THG, transferred creatively onto apparel and accessories.

The store also carries many of Pharrell’s exclusive collaborations and favorite brands, including Nigo’s vintage-inspired line HUMANMADE and specialty items by Takashi Murakami.

History

Established in 2007.

Billionaire Boys Club/ICECREAM opened its first store in Tokyo during 2005, followed by Hong Kong and its flagship New York location in 2007. The nostalgic red and white checked parlor tiles, trippy glow-in-the-dark staircases, moon-surface photo print walls, and curved rainbow-star ceiling help to capture the imaginative, futuristic, and playful nature of the brands.
