EyeNetra, the company behind Blink, was founded to develop and commercialize current and future MIT Media Lab research on methods to use smartphones to deliver personalized vision correction to the masses. The founders gained their insight into new solutions for eyecare through their experiences using new computational methods for measuring optics and the human eye at MIT Media Lab, David’s experiences in a family of optometrists, and the benefits telemedicine and point of care diagnostics has on health care.

Meet the Manager

Adam C.

Manager

Dr. Adam C. Deutscher is an experienced and friendly optometrist. In addition to maintaining a practice in lower Manhattan for many years, he was on the faculty of the SUNY College of Optometry as a clinical supervisor in several clinics, including Pediatrics and Vision Therapy. He specializes in difficult prescriptions and hard-​to-​fit contact lenses. As a Behavioral Optometrist, Dr. Deutscher sees you as a whole person, not just a pair of eyes, and he understands the importance of communication between doctors and patients.
