I came here after two other nearby salons had 30 minute waits. When i entered I was greeted by the manager but after that, things went downhill. The woman who did my manicure was rude and rushed me the entire time– I was barely able to look at the color choices before she was urging me to sit down so she could get started. I choose two colors (a base and a shiny top coat) which apparently annoyed her for some reason and I had to listen to her mutter comments while she worked on my manicure– thanks, but I don’t need to pay (and tip!) someone to be rude to me. When I requested a third coat, because I choose a very light colors and didn’t want to see my nails through the polish, I thought she was going to lose it. Bottom line, I’m never coming back and would never recommend this place. Had she done a great job I could have justified her below average customer service skills, but in attempting to wipe off excess nail polish, she took too much off and now, my five-​minute old manicure looks like it’s been growing out for a week. Save yourself the aggravation and take your business elsewhere.

A really cozy nook on Madison. I prefer this store over the others near the area. The staff is bright and welcoming and the atmosphere quiet and relaxing. Nice massages and nail service. This business sticks to ethical practices given the recent nail controversy. A bit expensive because it’s a high end shop.

Worst manicure in my 12 years living in New York. And I’m not that picky! Here’s why:
1 Waited 20+ minutes after they said 10
2 The place was so hectic. Not relaxing in any way.
3 My manicure lady got up about 20 times to answer the phone etc
4 When cutting my cuticles she CUT me. It wouldn’t stop bleeding and they had no antiseptic to clean it.
5 My 9 year old niece could have painted my nails better. The polish was all over my fingers. She had to call someone over to fix it all. Disaster.
6 This whole nightmare took over 90 minutes! And at one point I got up to go to the bathroom bc I’d been there for one million years and when I came back there was someone one else in my seat.
I would highly recommend never coming here ever. Ever.

Average manicure and pedicure, not many others in the neighborhood

Will definitely come back again! I had called to make an appointment prior but even without one i would of been helped they had many stations even though it was a little nook in there. I had the pleasure of being manicured and pedicured by Nube. She was a sweetheart we instantly bonded over being ecuadorian and being from queens. She was quite funny and she went the extra mile when i told her it was my birthday weekend. If you ever cm here request Nube.

At first I thought $ 13 for a regular old manicure was pretty steep, since it’s possible to get one for under $ 10, even on the Upper East Side. But the manicurist who did my nails was attentive and careful, and it’s been 3 days since my manicure, and there isn’t a single sign of wear or chipping. Great selection of colors, quiet and clean simple salon, friendly staff. Worth visiting.

Lovely Salon with unlimited nail polishes and great service plus that extra massage. Look for Kris for your regular mani and pedi! Love how she really cares for your hands and feet. I had my gel mani and pedi from Lima who took meticulous care of the gel process– she’s great too! Owner is very sweet and remembers all our names.

Went here for the first time last month, after going to a similarly named place that was too large and loud for me. Bloomies was wonderful; no customers chatting on phones, no constant chatter between staff, it was TRULY relaxing.
I had a wonderful pedicure, though it was a little pricey due to my misunderstanding of «spa»; an upgrade without me realizing the extra $. In the end it was worth it but I’d only get the spa service on occasion.
Ran out of time and needed dry nails (but wanted manicure) so she buffed instead of painting They looked polished and lasted for 2 weeks. Will do it again as no worries about chipped color

This was by far the best pedicure experience I’ve ever had. Joann was my technician and she put so much care into her job! She meticulously buffed my nails and trimmed my cuticles. She would recheck them after every step, until perfection was reached! I had a bruise on my right big toe nail and she applied an extra coat of nail polish in order to cover the discoloration. I am very very happy with the result. It feels like it might last over a month! Joann also gives the best 10 minute shoulder and back massage. It was 10 minutes of heaven. She worked into areas that I didn’t even realize was tense. The pedicure + massage cost me $ 43. Tad pricey but totally worth it!

I wish that I had come here when Kortnee B. had. The pricing has definitely changed a lot. I hate the idea of a basic pedicure cost $ 37 WITHOUT tip. I have no idea what the technician did that made the job worth $ 37. My toenails, which normally take forever to chip, thankfully, chipped 6 days later. I know that doesn’t sound so bad, but the pedicure I got as Dashing Diva was about the same price and lasted 6 weeks without a chip.

$ 45 for a mediocre mani/​pedi is not up my alley. Maybe some of the technicians are great, but mine was really nothing special. Their massage chairs aren’t a massage as much as a constant vibration. Friday’s mani is now totally chipped 3 days later. Not somewhere I’d go back anytime soon.

This is my nail salon of choice! The price is great, the staff is friendly, the place is small, but not too small; its truly a neighborhood nail salon. I now know which girls are better at doing your nails so every mani/​pedi I have is absolutely fabulous!

It’s the perfect neighborhood nail place. Small, quiet, cheap & friendly. Manicure usually lasts about 6 days & I don’t have a dishwasher. $ 30 for a manicure, lip wax & 10 minute chair massage? Not too shabby. They hang up your coat, help you put it on, hold the door for you. Lord knows you can’t find guys to do that! Why 4, not 5 stars? 1 or 2 of the women aren’t that great at nails or massage, now I avoid them.
