This is one of the greatest places to go grab coffee. Their beans constantly surprise me in terms of consistency of taste and roasting. I’m glad they’ve expanded from Oakland to the east coast. Whenever I’m in the city, I make sure I go out of my way to grab a bag of beans and a coffee from here. Then you can grab your coffee and blue straw(if you got a cold drink) across to Bryant Park and continue to take basic Instagram pictures to the envy of all your yuppie friends. Thus are some of the highlights of my sad life — some hearts popping up on my phone from the likes I get on Instagram. But someone’s gotta do it and post it on Snapchat too, am I right or what? Of course, if you’re at the actual store and it’s a hot summer afternoon, you must get yourself a cold New Orleans or grab a cold brew. If not, their lattes are great and the presentation is flawless. I love their pour overs too and am a big fan of the Bella Donovan beans. The location itself is a small quick serve location where you grab and go and there’s often a small line forming out the door. Prepare to be served by very hipster baristas with beards and cool clothes and of course an apron that looks way too good on them to be a work uniform. I envy the people who can just pop by and take a quick coffee break during work. There’s not a lot of seating at this location though, just one short counter space so definitely a place to chitchat or do a meet up(I guess that’s what Bryant Park is for). **For my home brewing coffee drinkers out there, I must admit that Blue Bottle beans are probably not best suited for a French Press, especially their lighter roasts. If you can, do yourself a favor and buy a Chemex and do a pour over.** Meta moment of honesty: Wow, I just read my review of what I wrote above and I have truly become a ridiculous basic yuppie coffee snob. This is what working in a city does to you. It wears you down. Until you’re just a shell of who you used to be.

The coffee is expensive and they don’t give you much of it, but its some of the best iced coffee I have ever had.

Hype. I always leave this place feeling disappointed and regretful of the extra $ 2 I dropped on a hip coffee or weird tea. And another thing. Your damn straw holes. Why? THECLASSICSTRAWHOLEISPERFECTDON’T MESSWITHIT.

I don’t see why not try this coffee except that the experience might change your expectations on coffee everywhere. I had my first blue bottle coffee in SFO so I knew I was lucky to see this again. I am new to New York so I was thinking that oh good one more reason that I am happy to be in NYC. Try new ones every time — ask for a recommendation! Staffs are always nice and they really know their coffee. Excellent recommendation — I had an awesome coffee, I had New Orleans ice cold and sweet and hung out at the Bryant Park after by myself!!! It was just happy time for me. They take cash visa Credit. So no need to worry about payment method. There is no place to hang out inside.

I think this is the perfect location for a coffee place. You can get a good cup of coffee and drink it at the park. Latte is very good and love all its atmosphere!

This is one of the better cold brews around Bryant Park. I usually grab one and sit in the park. The seats(no table) inside the café are very limited, better luck finding one in the library or the park. The staff is very courteous.

Great taste, flavor, and presentation always! I had a time before checking in hotel, so I decided to spend sometime in my favorite place, Bryant Park. I’m glad to find blue bottle was right across the street! There were only few counter seats, but I was able to find a seat at Bryant Park. No line when I was there, but it seemed like super crowded after lunch time with business man/woman around here. If there were more seats fronting to Bryant Park, it would be great in cold winter.

Was the coffee good? Yes. Was the service great? Yes. Was the price right? It can be better.

Really good latte from here. Small venue with no tables, only some stools with a bar at the side. We managed to get a couple of stools and sat inside but if you don’t get a seat and the weather is favourable you can always sit in Bryant park. Excellent, friendly speedy service with great tasting coffee.

Excellent coffee and snobbish hipster baristas of indeterminate sex. Just what Silver lake conditioned me to love! I had a macchiato, which was compelling without being biting. My mocha-phile fiancée was happy as well.

I am a new fan! Honestly, I am a Starbucks fan but really only because I am not hip to what defines good coffee and bad coffee. I just judge based on the taste and energy it gives me. After being educated by some coworkers I decided to try good coffee. The coffee was so good it didnt need all that sugary stuff Starbucks adds to achieve a good taste. The price is a little more expensive than Starbucks but they make it by the cup and it appears to be filled with better ingredients.

My husband thought the café mocha he had was the best he’s ever had. Not too sweet either. My hot chocolate was delicious, not too sweet. Only downfall… They only sell a small size!

This is what I like to call Yuppie Coffee! I like the taste of dark roast coffee and was recommended the Bella Donovan. Is Blue Bottle Coffee good… It’s alright Does drip coffee taste better… I’ve had better Is it expensive… Oh hell yea. $ 3.75 for a small cup of coffee. Sorry, not my thing, but I’m still on the search for good coffee. I wouldn’t mind paying the price if it was actually good coffee.

Best coffee discover this time round to New York. Although they didn’t have flat white in their menu, the barista did make an àwesome flash white for me. The line was looking and it was busy filled with people on the go. But honestly it’s well worth the wait. Even the drip coffee tastes great!

Had a nice nonfat latte here($ 4.90) and though it took a while for them to make, you can tell they’re carefully handcrafting each beverage. I’d like to return to try the drip coffee.

Walking into this place I wanted to hate it due to the«hipster» atmosphere, but I couldn’t look past the care and effort they put into creating each cup. From the way they drip their coffee to the hearts they create in the foam, all top notch. Well worth taking the time to try a cup.

Blue Bottle Coffee NY Manhattan Midtown Bryant Park 3pm Saturday 28th November 2015 Four Stars I will travel pretty far to drink coffee at Blue Bottle. I traversed the crowds around the Bryant Park Winter Wonderland. The space is really small. The only seating is a bar counter with 6 stools. I had a Cappuccino with Retrofit Espresso which is very mild, lightly roasted, with notes of caramel. The milk and foam were well balanced but not as sweet as usual. I figured I would double up and get a New Orleans Ice Coffee with Cream. This is my favorite coffee drink EVER! It combines the smoothness of 12 hour cold brew with the bitter flavor of chicory, sweetness of cane sugar and balanced out with diary. It has everything you want in a beverage.

I’ve been in other blue bottle coffee shops including the one in SF. I consider myself a follower of this great company. Their coffee beans are truly amazing and always in the upper quality of the rest of their competitors, that is at least for my taste. Till this day have not bought an espresso in a blue bottle that hasn’t been great. It so important to have a well train Barista(s) and with great attitude, is the about the whole experience and a good attitude from the workers enhances the flavores! Today the espresso was not up to their usual standards, it was quite smoky but kept some of its sweetness(this proves the quality of the coffee beans despite the bad extraction) and to make it worse, the barista and the guy at the counter were very snobbish and a little bit condescending. What a shame. I will still be buying coffee beans for them but will not come to this particularly shop again…

THEREISNOLINEATTHISBLUEBOTTLE. I REPEAT: There is no line at this Blue Bottle. Bay Area native working in New York… so where would I go to coffee? Not Starbucks. Culture is a little big of a trek. Dunkin Doughnuts, oh please. All my fellow Bay Area born & raised coworkers and I come here. It reminds us of home and has some of the best coffee in the Bryant Park area… and the line is half as long(go figure?) Those days when I would wait in a thirty minute line(ahem BB in the Ferry Building in SF and Hayes Valley) are over. I haven’t had a bad cup of coffee yet and the iced coffee is the best way to start a summer work day.

I love Blue Bottle. My once a month coffee spot is perfect for getting FULLY caffeinated like no other place this side of the East River. Ambiance: Awesome. Hustle and bustle of the worlds finest coffee connoisseurs in an open air modern shared roasting and café space. Staff: polite and knowledgeable. Everything you want from a coffee house! Go there to see and be seen and get your buzz on!
