My new favorite take-out-only place. Fabulous smiling service, delicious polish food, huge portions and a great deal. For $ 8.99 I got a giant ground chicken/pepper/cheese entrée with mashed potatoes and a ton of red cabbage. Stuffed myself until I hit a food coma wall and still have plenty left to take for lunch tomorrow. Also got some pierogi to try for lunch tomorrow. They were 65 cents each. Will definitely be back soon.

We just had a bunch if people over for a football game, and got hot food from Bobek to the delight of our guests! It was delicious, affordable, and there were healthy options for sure. This store has a great selection of polish foods including meats like kielbasa, prepared hit foods like mashed potatoes, meatballs, hunters stew, pork, roasted potatoes and a daily soup. I highly recommend them for take out! There is nowhere to eat in the store.

I had lots of polish cuisines in that neighborhood and Brooklyn, but this place is really the best. Quality of the food is totally worth the price and service is exceptionally nice. Real dinners, the best cold cuts, and what’s most important, everything is fresh!!! I highly recommend this place!

This is the ONLY, and I mean ONLY, decent place to eat in Kensington. It’s takeout, but it’s fresh and tasty homemade food, Polish-owned. I have tried every other place and it’s hopeless in this area. The potato pancakes are terrific. Egg salad is perfect. Chicken dishes, vegetables, broiled fish, broiled potatoes, are really good. Fish and mushroom dishes are excellent. Pierogis are very good. There’s a lot of fried food which I avoid, but it’s very tasty too. This place keeps me from racing into Manhattan to eat. And it’s very reasonably priced.
