Bombfell

Absolutely love Bombfell! Being a small stature guy, it’s difficult to find clothes that fit me very well. 28 years old and wearing kids khakis, although a penny saver, are the only type that look decent on me. Bombfell has totally changed my wardrobe and allows me to wear «adult clothes» that fit! If you’re concerned bout the price, you’re in it for the wrong reasons.

Bombfell is now my go to for clothing and style. They opened up my exposure to great brands without me having to do the work to find them. Extremely personalized monthly picks that are 100% my style. If you are curious I’d highly recommend trying bombfell and you will fall in love.

I loooove bombfell! The stylists are great at finding clothes you’ll like but might not have thought to buy on your own. They really listen to feedback and provide great customer service. There is a slight markup on some of the clothing but that’s to expected — you’re paying not just for clothing but for a personal stylist. Completely worth it. I don’t really understand the bad reviews complaining about the quality of the clothing. All the clothes I’ve received have been from reputable brands like Penguin and Ben Sherman. In the rare instances where I’ve had to return something I’ve encountered no issues.
Bottom line: Bombfell has provided me with some of the best clothes I’ve ever worn. Almost everything they send me winds up becoming one of my favorite articles of clothing.

First off — the stylists really know what they’re doing. It’s wonderful to see what I’m thinking for my husband and to not have to look around for it on my own time. I can’t stress that enough. Secondly — their customer service is top notch. We decided that this last delivery would be our last for a while since we’re at a place where we can’t afford the extras right now. The website is awesome — it was really easy and hassle-​free (and guilt-​free) to end our subscription. But what really was sensational was when I accidentally returned our items a few days late — I did it because we were down with the stomach flu and just couldn’t get it out any earlier. I noticed that my credit card was charged, so I sent them a nice email (politeness DOES go a long way!), explaining the situation and they — MILES and ELLIE — corresponded back with me, first saying how sorry they were that we were sick and secondly fixing it that as soon as they would receive the return, they’d credit my card in full. Their rule is that late returns only get store credit, but because of our situation, they broke their own rule to please the customer — the customer that wouldn’t be a customer for very long since I was cancelling my subscription. Really, this is quite an organization. They train their employees to go above and beyond and to treat customers well. Thank you, Miles and Ellie, for your amazing service and Bombfell — as soon as we are able to, we’ll be back!

I was sent an order to review, I thought the prices were too high and canceled the order. I doubled checked that I did in fact cancel the order, verified I did in fact cancel the order. They shipped the order to me anyways and now it’s my problem to make sure that I ship it back. I have to take the box to a shipping location and drop it off, and if I don’t do it in a timely enough manner I will be charged for the items that they confirmed I did in fact cancel. But, hey they gave me a $ 15 credit to go towards my next order (I canceled my account, so this does nothing for me)!! Which by the prices I saw that would cover the left front pocket on a shirt and a button or two on the blazer! I don’t recommend doing business with them. If I had a business that by their admission shipped me something wrongly, I wouldn’t put them on a deadline to ship the items back and furthermore would offer more than what turns out to be 3% of the items worth that was shipped. I will be shipping the item back this week, but just wanted others to know the hassle I’m going through with Bombfell.

Ok in all seriousness I said «they have so many bad reviews but the service is different and I’ll try it.»
With that said I placed my account with a limited card just so they couldn’t keep charging me and would either have to contact me or/​and refund the returned package. And so it worked, and after I received my first package I saw nothing as to what we agreed on. I was rushed doing my order and felt like I wasn’t important enough to deal with cause my order was either not profitable for him or her or was to anxious to get out to the local fist pumping bar.
Emails back and forth and they were insisting that they never received the return. Also seemed like he was implying that I was lieing about it. But what he didn’t know was I recorded myself packaging (as with my side business this is what I do so MY clients are in full confidence with their order) up the clothes and driving back to ship them back. Even the employee said while I was returning them that «wow Noone can say you didn’t ship them» please understand that the people at fedex know me due to i deal with them 5 days a week. I have never had a bad experience with FedEx in the last 6 Years.
In all I implore you to resist trying this company out. They will look to keep your money and do all they can to delay the refund.

I have kept a few items and returned the majority due to poor quality of clothing based on the price. I am going to call them nonstop to get refunded properly, don’t use their service is all i can say.

I have loved using Bombfell! The clothing selection is getting better and better each time. It greatly helps me branch out my style without spending hours at different stores trying to guess which one has the clothes I want. Many of my friends and family have complemented my new clothes. I highly recommend it since there is no obligation to buy anything. If you don’t like that months box, send it back with no charges on your card, unlike other subscriptions that charge a monthly account.

I do not understand all the bad reviews. The clothing I have received has been great. The service is easy to use. Review what is arriving, edit should you choose to do so, try stuff on, return it in a reasonable amount of time. Be gone shopping!
Yes, finding a stylist is difficult. Yes, the prices are higher than you would pay in Target (really, did someone compare this to Target?). But I think the quality is just fine. I just received a compliment from my coworkers on a shirt I would have never picked out myself. The quality is fine. Have you heard of these brands? Probably not. But that is the point! I use to only buy from Brooks Brothers, but even their shirts cost $ 75 a pop and are dull in style.
I just wished they offered shoes and other similar items. I will have to go to Trunk for those items.

I’ve been using Bombfell for several months now and so far I really like it. I get 3 «surprise me» pieces of clothing every other month. So far I have kept at least 1 piece of clothing out of the 3 I receive every time. I don’t know what others are talking about with the prices being high. If you look up the article of clothing online when you receive it I have found that Bombfell has it for a few dollars cheaper than anywhere else I see it online. Customer Service is great and I haven’t had any problems returning items. So far I’m a happy customer and I love the service because I HATE shopping.

I tried Bombfell for a total of 1 shipment. Before I get into why I cancelled with them I will say this. Their style team and customer support are fantastic. They truly are. My stylist Bo, worked with me very closely and responded to my emails promptly and articulately. This is why I cancelled. Their pricing is INSANE. I have never paid $ 100 for a button down shirt in my life. I have never paid $ 100 for a sweater in my life. The list goes on and on but I have to say it just wasn’t my cup of tea. I’m sure there are some people that are comfortable spending that kind of money on «fashion» but I am not one of them.
I assume there are others who share the same feeling as me. In addition to their insane pricing. The clothing choices just weren’t my style. Granted Bo did an excellent job working with me on my body type and fashion choices. But ultimately fell flat. If this company would simply change their pricing structure and brand choice they could go extremely far in the home shopping business. However at this point they are going to go out of business rapidly in my opinion.

I will say one of the benefits to this website that not a lot of others like it have is, you keep what you want and return the rest. They are NOT a scam they are just pricey. I would go back to Bombfell in a heartbeat if they had better brands and much lower prices (the prices I mentioned were their minimum per item btw). But until then I will look for clothing elsewhere.

Here’s the thing. Overall, their effort for customer service, for me, was great. The stylists were polite. Any issues, they addressed or attempted to. Always took feedback. Seemed great… but there’s a but. (There’s always a but)
So it started sometime in July (might not be right on dates) of 2015. Seems I was getting more and more e-​mails that my picks for clothes were coming, they were just a bit behind. Totally fine. At this point, I was happy. I’ve purchased three pairs of pants, several shirts… I liked to clothes.
Then suddenly, I was informed I had a new stylist. That’s fine also. However, people are different and for some reason, the time… the effort I’ve put into my previous stylist understanding my preferences, especially when it came to fitting… just never clicked. I get that things change, but I was given no heads up. I was given no explanation. In terms of communication, a customer satisfactory response which outlines the future… was never received UNTIL I said something. So that’s another thing… not really proactive.
So fast forward, a bit. Life happened. I get married. We move. My wife is pregnant. Took some time, but I realized «Hey, I haven’t received a Bombfell box in some time.» I check my account and it’s paused. I don’t know why. I check my CC. That’s up to date. I have absolutely no communication from Bombfell. No explanation why my account is paused. Again… weird.
So almost the next day, I get an e-​mail from Bombfell. Was it an explanation? No, they were asking me to fill out a customer survey. Seemingly coincidental. If not… no explanation was given. I was honest, but fair and always polite. And to Bombfell’s credit someone reached out to me very quickly.
They said, my stylist didn’t receive a responses from me so they paused my account. I get it… that seems legit. Seems fair even. I simply responded: «I appreciate the response. I guess my big point is some sort of notification that my account was paused, might be helpful. I love the service, I guess, for me, more communication is always better.»
Of course, they responded. What did they do? The paused my account. The representative claimed that where they are now after touching base with the team they thought it best to pause my account until they had something better for me. Say what?!
In my honest opinion, it felt like it was one or both of two things:
1. My stylist got fed up with me because I didn’t like what was being sent. My previous stylist seemed to do just fine.
2. Some what related: I wasn’t purchasing enough to make it worth their time to try.
Now, I’m sure they claim those are not true, but what matters is how I felt… and that’s how I felt. I purchased clothes, I worked with them, but in the end, I didn’t have enough value. So I cancelled my account. My recommendation?
People are nice (Very nice), but they may not have the best grasp on what’s best not only for customers, but for their own business. I would recommend not using Bombfell.

Pretty fun and accurate for what they advertise.
Some clothes I got were cool. Some were ok. Some were pricier than I would have otherwise spent, some were not.
I will tell you one thing: customer support was EXCELLENT for returns and for account management. I’ve seen some pretty harsh reviews here on Unilocal,but, I was pleasant and they were pleasant in return.
Bombfell may not be for everyone but I recommend you at least give them a try.

100% SCAM!!! Avoid at all cost. I never received any package from Bombfell, showed interest with using their services in October 2015, then in January 2016 they stole $ 300 from my bank account and never EVER sent me any package EVER. Said they would refund my money and never did. FRAUD ALERT!!! This company is a FAKE! Any decent review of them would be from the owner of the company or an employee. Big red flag they are a fake, they don’t «speak on the phone» no customer service department at this «company»

I learned about Bombfell from an ad i saw on
. Digg has never misled me in the past and I’ve tried other mail order clothing stores so I figured I would give them a try. Well, needless to say 5 months later I have cancelled my bombfell subscription and I’ll tell you why.
Number 1: I returned all the items in an order that was sent to me and they then contacted me and said that i only returned 3 of the 4 items sent and that they would be charging me for it. That was it for me. To say that I didnt return something when I did is unforgivable. I immediately told them that if I get charged for something I returned I will dispute the charge with my credit card company and WILL NOT BE PAYING FOR SOMETHING I DIDNT KEEP!
they got the message and I was never charged, but the simple fact that this is how they run their business left a bad taste in my mouth. They need to look internally at their processes before telling a customer they kept something that was suppose to be returned.
Number 2: the pricing of the clothes does not match the quality. The clothes are priced extremely high and the quality of these clothes, which come from brands I’ve never heard of, is poor. Of the 3 orders I received I returned everything because of the cheap quality and poor fit of the clothing.
Seriously, don’t sign up. I regret having signed up and fortunately I have now cancelled my account and will recommend to anyone not to use them.

I have been using bombfell for a few months now and have been very happy:
It is very convenient as I hate mall shopping.
All sizes were spot on and the quality has been good.
The styles have in some parts clearly not what I would have been shopping for but that is good. Once I tried them I realized it looked different and good.
The price is not cheap as you basically pay full MSRP so don’t look at it for bargain hunting.

FRAUDS-​avoid at all costs. It will cost you a lot of money.
Their «stylish» clothes are crappier than what you could find at the clearance rack at Target and 5 times more expensive.
Don’t fall for this waste of money.
First shipment was a joke. Then the second shipment was identical to the first. Now they are silent. Thieves.
try getting a refund. I’ve had to escalate it to my credit card company to get a refund.
Seriously-​$ 174 for a pair of pants and a long sleeve shirt?

Customer services is great! Got an unwanted charge on my account. Customer service worked with me to resolve issue quickly.

DO NOT order from this company. We thought this would be a fun way to find new clothes for my husband, but its a scam. they will most likely charge your account regardless of whether or not you ship back your items to them. It’s been two weeks since we sent out our things and there is still a huge negative balance on our account, EVEN THOUGH customer service told us it would only be a few days. They make excuses for all of their mistakes, blaming fedex, or «high demand», or literally anything else (just go down the comments, you’ll see.) They even tried to blame us, saying they didn’t see a tracking for when it was shipped out (accusing??). They also Ignored our request for them to pay our overdraft fees, we emailed them twice about it and they answer every other question but that. awful company, awful customer service.

Received clothes and my Internet went out before my ten days up. I emailed them and they told I will get a refund so I sent the clothes with the tags and everything back promptly that Tuesday now it’s friday of next week and I still have not recieved a refund.
They say that they are having trouble with fed ex and that there isn’t any tracking numbers.
I don’t have the clothes anymore and I just need my money back now.
