Need to try them Mofonguitos before you die! Seriously. I speak no Spanish but the girl offered me a mofonguito just for tasting… props for hospitality. That neighborly love bumps this review up to a 7 star. I will definitely make my trip uptown just to hit up some mofonguitos when I’m in NYC again.

The food here is exceptional. My favorites are the Yaroas, Patacone, Mofongo, Cheese Burger and Chicken Salad. The plantain preparation here is a marvel. Yaroas is a delicious bed of mashed sweet plantains, chicken/pork and chesse. Patacone is like a sandwich with a crispy plantain shell instead of a bun. The chicken salad is usually really fresh and filling. I go here at least once a week because they are fast, fresh and tasty.

Really good food and fast! Only one day the Chimi was overtly salty and they promptly gave me a new one to compensate which was just right with no fuss. Best mofonguitos in the city!

OHABSOLUTELYTHEBEST ! If your Dominican or any other hispanic you will love this type of food. The Mofonguitos are amazing! very good. The Yaroa is also fantastic. Get it wit the mixed meats and french fries! by far the best i’ve had in NYC.

I’m glad to be the first one giving a review for this little spot in the heights. Since I saw some photos of their food on Instagram I was interested in trying their food because it looks so good. It was so good as I expected. Finally I found a place where the mofongos taste as good as the mofongos make in DR. Thanks to the chef that cook this amazing food. I recommend the mofonguitos! Just Improve the costumer service.
