My office offers general health care for women of all ages. I am an Obstetrician and Gynecologist specializing in preventing pregnancy loss and miscarriage, and complications of pregnancy. My other specialties are minimally invasive gynecologic surgery including vaginal reconstruction, correction of urinary incontinence, laser and laparoscopic procedures, myomectomy and hysterectomy.

History

Established in 1970.

My clinical practice began in November of 1970 after my return from serving as Head of the Infertility Service for the US Air Force. I began as assistant professor and am now Silverman Professor at New York University Medical School, where i have continuously practiced and teach students and resident doctors.

Dr. Young is internationally known as a leader and innovator in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Young’s interest in maternal and fetal medicine led to his performing NYU’s first intrauterine fetal blood transfusion and first fetal surgery. He has remained an innovator in surgery, with extensive experience in laparoscopic and laser procedures and achieved world recognition for his innovative surgical procedures.
