Charged $ 200 bucks for a wrap around doorknob and installation on a bedroom door. You can purchase this same doorknob for under 20 bucks, and pay someone less than 180 for the same job.
Find someone else to do business with. This store sucks.

What a massive bummer … The better half and I make the slog to the UES to visit the store only to find a sign on the door which reads «back in 40 mins» … ok … not that we know when that 40 mins started or anything… So let’s go get some lunch (probably what they were doing anyway) … we came back a half hour later and waited a full HOUR more for them to return…
Why did we go the locksmith you ask? We have 3 antique mortise locks that are missing a piece and we hoped they would be able to help. I was in the store for 5 minutes, the gentlemen reviewed the lock and claimed, «ohhh, no, I don’t have those pieces, you can buy a new lock for $ 110 …» I responded that I could get 3 locks on the olé interwebs for $ 50 and he lowered to $ 80 each … wow… thanks for the offer but I’ll pass …
BUMMER! No options, no guidance, no knowledge — just a pain in the ass and an hour and half of my life we won’t get back.
