Chelsea Landmark

What an amazing experience at Chelsea Landmark! I have visited all buildings throughout the entire Chelsea area — and I mean ALL of Chelsea! I finally found an amazing building with the best staff EVER!!. Although I didn’t have an appointment they were very accommodating in giving me a full tour of the building! Love, Love, Love their beautiful Lobby and their amazing roof top terrace! Other buildings I had visited made me feel like it was major hassle to get an appointment let alone to see an apartment, but the Landmark really made me feel pretty welcome although I visited them numerous times.
Overall a beautiful building, great views, amazing roof top but most importantly a professional and courteous leasing staff!

This was probably one of the most amazing rooftops I’ve ever seen in NYC. I’ve also posted a picture here to show you how gorgeous it is! I came here after lunch with some friends who live here so we could bask in the summer sun and enjoy the roof.
Their actual apartment was nice. it was like a bigger version of a studio apartment. It has enough room for a couch, and huge bed and the kitchen was good-​size too. The building has a nice gym so they don’t need membership to an actual place. Also, the apartment is well-​lit and the views are amazing! (They’re located on the 25^th floor, so the view was pretty insane.) The lobby is gorgeous and the bellmen that work there are really nice and helpful.
Of course, I think the rooftop deck is amazing. It’s a 360 of the entire city, and they’re furnished it with super nice loungey chairs and tables. Get there early if you want a good chair/​couch spot. So jealous of everyone who lives here! Such an amazing rooftop deck for summer.

Great building –perfect location, modern amenities, friendly and responsive staff, well behaved residents — mostly young professionals in their 30s/​40s.
Apartments are well laid out, have great views (especially east side), and are very quiet. The roof deck is absolutely spectacular!
Highly recommended.

I’ve looked obsessively at all the modern-​generic-​tower buildings in this bit of flatiron /​midtown-​south. I’ve now lived in the Chelsea Landmark for four years and am overall very satisfied with my choice.
Pros:
* Efficient and practical floor plans. No wasted sq ft.
* Great building staff and service.
* Nice gym, whirlpool and sauna (at extra expense).
* Great views and light from higher floors.
* Fair price (which is not to say cheap, but in line with other buildings).
* Quiet.
* Great roof deck.
* Direct garage access from inside the building.
* Spacious, clean and well lit common areas.
Cons:
* Construction quality is typical commercial grade, though the fixtures are generally nice. Not sure how well it will have held up in 10 years.
* Windows get dirty and have never been cleaned.

I had such a great experience at this apartment. My husband and I lived here for a year while we were working before we had to go back to LA. I loved the roof, I loved the gym, I loved the jacuzzi. The staff was awesome and incredibly helpful. Loved it!!!

One of the latest high-​rise residential towers contributing to the effort of turning midtown into another Tokyo. Hey, it isn’t their fault, it’s the developer’s, but I digress.
Beautiful building if you like lots and lots of windows. The penthouses on the 38^th floor are beautiful spaces with the north and south facing penthouses arguably having among the best views in the city. or at least the best views without seeing the park.
The desk and door staff are friendly and attentive but it’s the management which needs work. The building feature’s a gym they shill while you’re looking for rental space but little do they mention the fact it’s pay-​only, even for residents. The worse part is: thinking of bringing a guest? No way. This workout space which is staffed but as common as any hotel’s workout room, has a fierce and aggressive policy about admitting guests. They won’t. Not if you pay them, bribe them, tell them it’s your boyfriend who lives with you, etc. Want to work out here? Your name has to be on a lease and you’ve got to pony-​up about $ 800 for the luxury which isn’t.
Apartments have natural-​looking wood flooring throughout, call phones to the front desk and all the basic amenities you might find in buildings around the city.
A nice place for yuppies and migrant Ohioans with high paying jobs who crave the sanitary, soulless concrete enclave of upper Chelsea on 6^th avenue.
