Been coming here for last 4 years. Efficient, friendly, and accommodating. They are even open on Sundays. Both Dr. Cheng and Dr. Wu give straight, honest answers.

Open on Sunday and no wait for my appointment!
My crown fell off during a Saturday dinner and I chose Dr. Cheng from Unilocal reviews. My regular dentist is in Oklahoma and I wanted the crown reattaching as soon as possible! I left a message and the receptionist called me at 9 a.m. Sunday morning and accommodated me with an appointment right away. The front office staff were friendly and efficient. I was in a Dr. Cheng’s chair immediately after filling out the paperwork. Dr. Cheng worked swiftly and proficiently and was very patient and compassionate. He explained every part of the procedure. I would have no hesitation in making Dr. Cheng my regular dentist if New York was my permanent home and his fees were much less than I had expected to be charged. Thank you Dr. Cheng. Your patients and I are very lucky to have you in NYC!

I’ve been with Dr. Cheng for over 10 yrs for my dental care. I am super satisfied with his services for both his professional skills and his attitude. It’s needless to say that he is excellent in what he is doing.
Every visit to his office is so pleasant that we chat like old friends and he always remembers our conversation from my last visit and pick up from there. And one thing I like most is that appointments are always kept as scheduled with rarely 10 to 15 min wait.
I highly recommend Dr. Cheng for your dental care.

So, I’ve never been here because whomever they hired to be the receptionist isn’t qualified to be a receptionist in any sense of the word, and couldn’t answer my most basic question so I COULD come here.
Me: «Hi, are you accepting new patients?
Them: «Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh…who’s calling?»
Me: «I’m looking for a new dentist and was wondering if you are accepting new patients.»
Them: «Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh… who’s calling?»
If this were a multiple choice test between «Yes» and «No», she would have failed.
With her answering the phones, how is this place still in business?
Fine, DON’T take my money; I need it more than you anyways.

I saw Dr. Vivian Wu at this office today for a filling and a deep cleaning. I think she did a great job and was so friendly and professional. I am usually very scared of any dental work and I felt at ease here. I found this office by another friends recommendation of Dr. Cheng, whom my friend has very high praise.
I don’t have dental insurance and the out pocket price was very reasonable. I highly recommend this office.

I’ve been with Dr. Cheng for years! He pays a lot of attention to his patients and ensure that they are getting the best care. He also charges reasonable rates and accepts most health insurances. His staff are also very friendly and nice.
I’ve never had a problem with this work, and I’ve had 2 root canals and 2 crowns. There were difficulties with one of my root canals, and he referred me to a specialist and even offered to pay for the cost since he was unable to perform the procedure.
He is closed on Wednesdays, and often fully booked so call ahead of time. If it is urgent, he can try to squeeze you in. He really goes above and beyond for this patients. I am terrified of going to doctors, but he is the only medical professional I go to regularly and am not scare of.

Dr Cheng is one of the most personable doctors I know. He really gets to know you and that helps in treating you also. Very modern office and convenient in Chinatown. The best thing about Dr Cheng? He’s open on Satudays AND Sundays, but closed on Wednesdays & Thursdays. He takes a limited number of insurances, but will work with you to arrange agreeable payment terms.
