Chins Massage

AMAZING! Found Chin on Unilocal and could not be happier. One of the best massage I have ever had. He identifies the knots, trigger points and tension and knows how to release them. He listened to me regarding what was bothering me and focused on making it better. So super friendly.

I have seen Chin several times now for massages. He’s as charming as he is skilled. He’s very focused on each client’s specific needs (my wife has seen him as well) — so the massages are tailored to your specific issues. He’s professional and warm… you will feel at ease. Sometimes he can run behind schedule because of this focus, but I say that only so you know that it’s worth the wait if you do have to wait a few minutes.

I have had 3 massages by Chin in the last six months. He is consistently friendly and professional, and radiates a calming, relaxing vibe. During each massage, Chin has been responsive to my requests to focus on various running-​related aches and pains. I like moderate pressure and he gets it just right; my boyfriend prefers very heavy pressure, and he tells me that Chin gets that just right too. Plus, Chin will give you some personalized recommendations for stretches etc to help make the benefits of his work last as long as possible. Reasonable rates, really can’t be beat in NYC.

I received my first massage from Chin as a gift from my girlfriend, but, to be honest, every massage he gives feels like a gift. In addition to being an incredibly skilled masseur, Chin possesses the common touch that makes each visit truly enjoyable. The best massage I’ve received in New York or anywhere else for that matter. Highly recommended!

Chin is incredible. I only have deep tissue massages so that is all I can address, and he is the best. I’ve been going to Chin for apx 2 years. He knows his stuff and effectively alleviates what ails you, plus his salon is neat and clean. All I can say is he is the best and nicest massage therapist I have ever been to. Chin is amazing. I first went to him for an emergency appointment several years ago when my lower back went out and was in a lot of pain. (I have scoliosis and am often close to a back emergency!) He helped immensely. I am also a marathoner and my body is often a painful disaster from beating it up from training. He has also helped me immensely for that. He is great at figuring out what your body needs to help fix what is wrong. And he is a wonderful person!

This was a remarkable experience — Chin has an exceptional energy and ability to help not only your muscles, but to give you an overall sense of healing and relief. I would tell you to just come for 30 minutes to check it out, but I can guarantee you will insist on extending your massage time. He is attentive to your needs and concerns regarding places where you feel that you need the most work and he provides a soothing and calm environment for you to fully relax. If you’re stressed, he is the one to go to — you will absolutely want to come back.

Chin is the BEST! I have been getting massages from him for about 13 years and I swear they are awesome. I am athletic and often getting sports related injuries, either my back or my shoulder is hurting at one point or another. I can go into Chin leaning halfway over or not able to lift and arm or move my neck and I walk out feeling as good as new! Although he is not the doctor or physical therapist he is aware of all of your muscles and joints and can do a great job identifying what your issue is.
I am thrilled to see he is working on his own! He is a super nice guy and you will not be disappointed. You can be quiet and relax or chat up a storm, whatever you prefer.
Chan has a private studio on the 10^th floor of an office building. Do not be taken aback when you arrive and you are not in a salon/​spa. He has a beautiful, tranquil room for you to get the best massage ever! There are bathroom facilities across the hall from his room where you could get dressed and wash up if needed.
