Description

Specialties

Choptank is a casual, American, neighborhood restaurant in New York’s West Village. We offer a balanced mid-Atlantic menu with a focus on seafood and flavors of the Chesapeake Bay.

History

Established in 2010.

Joshua Morgan and longtime friend, Robert Werhane, both Maryland natives, decided to open a casual neighborhood restaurant in the West Village that highlighted some of the flavors of the Chesapeake Bay which were such an integral part of their childhood. In January 2010, Choptank, named after a major river in the Chesapeake Bay, opened and has quickly become a go-to spot for West Village locals, seafood enthusiasts, and Marylanders looking for an authentic dinning experience.
