DO NOT RENT FROM COLONY AMERICAN HOMES. We have been in the property for a month now, we walked into a dirty home with ants and spiders everywhere. We recently discovered mold in the basement. After many calls, we did have one guy come out and inspecedt the mold– which he identified as mold– but needed approval to proceed. This was days ago, I called again. Its bad enough that the yard was not done, the trees are rotten, and the septic tank area was not covered enough so when it rains, the front steps is covered with red clay. It has been a bad experience. We are not going to re-​new this lease. DO not rent from them. We should have know this was going to be a horrible experience when the agent showed up late, was not professional and appeared unprepared.
