My dad had been using them for years to fulfill Rx’s for Diabetes testing supplies. This week, with prescriptions in hand from his doctor, Confucius(aka Mannings) refused to order the supplies because they indicated that he gets his other medication from a different pharmacy. Horrible place of business!!! They are on the list of network pharmacies of his medicare plan, and they refuse to fill the prescriptions!!! We are upset because my dad didn’t get the health service that they are supposed to provide, as a networked pharmacy. BADCUSTOMERSERVICE… CUSTOMERSBEWARE. Being in Chinatown, NYC, do they(Confucius) feel that they can treat the non-English speaking patrons like this and get away with it? I will file complaints with the insurance carrier and NYS agencies, where possible.

You mean CONFUSION Pharmacy Surgical Supls. Too many people that want to be of importance. They are so afraid they may give you something for free, so they waste YOUR time, double and triple, checking everything. I told them to copy my insurance cards, take my number and call me, when you figure it out. NO. they want you to take a number, sit for a hour, and then all of the above. One employee then walked me to the other store, just as bad! There I asked the man for a form, to take to the doctor. He starts an interrogation, like he’s working for FBI. He pulls out the form and a large yellow marker, and starts drawing lines, all over the paper. I said” I’m not giving that to any doctor!” Give me another one! He starts at the new form with the marker again as I grab the form and block him. I leave, worn out from the experience. As I exit the train, my phone rings, it’s them! They are telling me to come back, my order is ready. As I return, there is no one in the store but me, but some woman, sticks a number in my hand. 2 minutes later, the same woman returns to take the number, then ask me what I want. Final thought of the day, the experience brings to mind, Hurry up and wait for me…

Really good service. I do not know what people were complaining about. I wanted to get my mom a rollator and they said it would take up to a week. It was a little troublesome but i understood that it was medicare that needed to do the work and of course every company has protocol. They were the only couple of pharmacies who would even except my medicare! If you a medicare provider, highly recommend!

Great customer service! My grandmother had to apply for a rollator this year after being discharged from the hospital. I didn’t know where to go to apply for this item until my physician referred me to Confucius pharmacy inc. I brought in the prescription but the staff there informed me that I have to get more documentation from the physician. And so I got the forms online and gave to my grandmother’s physician to complete. It took awhile dealing with the physician and the pharmacy but they warned me of this wait ahead of time. I mean I can’t blame them since this is the insurances policy and criteria. They’re just trying to follow the rules. After everything was submitted, they arranged delivery straight to my grandmother’s house for free!!! I thought there’d be a delivery fee. They also gave instructions on how to use it. My grandmother is very satisfied with this item and service. Definitely recommend this pharmacy to my family and friends.

TERRIBLE!!! Took forever to get my mom’s wheelchair. They had me suffer through unnecessary loop holes to get the chair, and then called me once they heard she passed away to try to get back her wheelchair! Didn’t even say«sorry for your loss» as a common courtesy. Will never use them again. Inefficient and unorganized.

They have 2 sections, one is for the surgical supplies(most things that are non-consumable except for ensure and etc) is there when you walk in to your left. The main part of the pharmacy is further back about 10 paces. The people here generally don’t speak English well except for the occasional college student there. They generally cater to the patients that speak Cantonese and Mandarin. They accept most insurance cards and Part D Medicare. Have your Social Security# ready if you don’t have your Medicare information with you. When trying to give refills for things that are special orders such as anything that comes only brand name call 1 weekday ahead(so if you plan to pick it up Sat call Friday morning, don’t expect anything to be there on Sun, they don’t get delivery for their supplies until Monday) so they order it for you. Call the Number on the label and when someone picks up tell them you want to have a refill done. They will normally transfer you to someone that can help. Give the Rx# on the label and they will normally confirm another bit of information to make sure it is yours. When filling a new prescription you’ll get a number(that you’ll have to return) and I suggest waiting there if you are the only one there or come back later if there are more than 3 people waiting ahead of you. You should call them later to ask them if everything is ready to be picked up so you don’t have to walk back here. Generally pretty busy right after lunch time 2−3pm and quiet around 9−10am and 5pm-close.
