This was formerly St. Vincent’s Cancer Center, and although it’s no longer 24⁄7 (I got a treatment on July 4th!) it’s still the best of the lot. I’ve seen a lot of cancer centers, and this one is:
1. all on one floor, everything radiates off of a central atrium – radiology, treatment room, doctor’s offices, bloodwork place, etc. Just a few steps to anything!
2. They have all sorts of acompanying services, from psychiatric help (while you are on drip, if you need it) to acupuncture.
3. Greatly skilled professionals, ready to «go the extra mile» if you need it.
