We had our daughters 4^th birthday party (July 2015) at creative party. We tried to pick a different place every time and mommy poppins is always a great finder for best party venues. At first I was concern about the location but after I met with Debbie and Amanda my mind was set. Their energy totally captivated me. I felt they could take over the party and I don’t need to do anything but to have fun. Debbie was very accommodating and there are many themes to choose from. We want to stay within budget with our large group therefore we had the themed Olympia. Our Cinderella cake was beautiful and yummy. Amanda was great leading the party. We loved the parachute and bubble wraps. Kids and parents loves the party favors. To my surprise it wasn’t the themed cups and stickers. And it was very nice that they made sure all the kids used the antibacterial gel before giving out their food.

We had our daughter’s six birthday with Debbie at Creative Dream. It was our first party outside the home. So, we were unsure exactly what needed to be done for the party to work. Debbie, however, did, and she ensured that the party was flawless and handled all of the chaos that occurs at a party with six year old girls and parents. The party ended up going so well that all of the parents stayed for the party, and many of them were taking videos.
We used the tea party theme for our daughter, Debbie had an Elsa attend and we added pettifores and french macarones (used Elsa blue), plus Debbie used a Frozen theme cake. The girls all loved Elsa. Before Elsa attended, I had some doubt about whether having Elsa attend would make much of an impact with Manhattan six year olds. Debbie assured me that it would. The look on the girls faces and how they responded to Elsa teaching them how to hold tea cups and eat their deserts left little doubt that Debbie was right. I cannot stress enough that if you have any sort of tea party you need to have Elsa attend.
The baker Debbie uses makes unbelievably good cakes (Debbie had her also bake a cake for our son’s recent birthday at our home. The batman cake was also great). My son’s cake we literally ate in a day (2 adults and 2 kids).

We had our son’s 4^th birthday party. He’s into pirates and so we took a gamble on Creative Dream though we’d never been to any parties there and didn’t know much about it apart from reviews. The reviews were accurate — it was a stupendous party! I’m pretty sure we’ll be going back there for FRIENDS’ parties because all the parents were bowled over. Debbie, her daughter and the rest of her wonderful staff kept the kids running, giggling and entertained the whole time. From the name-​tag hand out make-​a-​silly-​face name game to the hand out of the goody bags, every moment was so well choreographed and structured– there was never a lull. The theme we had, pirate treasure hunt, entailed reading clues from a scroll and then allowing the kids to find the next treasure box which would open to reveal another part of their pirate costumes. With each reveal and each new accessory, parent phones came out to capture the emerging pirates and even the shyer kids got into the theme. We had opted for a short magic show during the party, which was well worth it, because it meant the kids were entertained during the meal, too, which meant the most orderly birthday lunch with toddlers I have ever seen. As others have mentioned, the cakes are also outstanding– gorgeous to look at and delicious (cookies and cream frosting?! Inspired!). There were too many personal touches to recall; the goody bags were personalized and adorable (and amazing– the best we’ve ever seen at a kid’s party), the birthday child’s take-​home poster with autographs was sweet, and, as we were leaving, Debbie called our son over to give him a pirate sword (which was, funny enough, the one thing he’d asked for and not received from us!) which lit up (and was big and plastic enough to allay any concerns about him hitting walls or his sister with it :) The only thing I’d say is that her website needs to be upgraded– it doesn’t convey enough how WONDERFUL Creative Dream (and Debbie and her staff) are.

For my son’s 6^th birthday I threw him a «Transformers’ Budding Olympian» birthday party at Creative Dream Entertainment, and it was worth every penny paid! The staff, the space, the decorations, the cake, the entertainment and activities were exactly what I wanted for my child! I’m not exactly fanatic about organizing parties, so this was not only the perfect venue for the other parents to get to, they also took care of EVERYTHING! It was lovely. I even had to make a last minute addition to my package and Debbie, the owner and director, was fantastic in accommodating me. I’m so glad I chose this place. My kid and his friends all had a blast, and really, isn’t that all that matters?
I would definitely come back here for another birthday party. This was beyond what I wanted. Everything was great, I have no complaints whatsoever.
p. s. I had to edit my review to include the Bubble Wrap Freeze Dance which occurred at the end, and it was the best! Something so basic turned into an activity for kids? I may even buy a roll so that my sons could reenact this at home. Thanks guys :)

This weekend, we threw a «Frozen» carnival-​theme 4^th bday party for my daughter, and we were blown away by the experience. Through Creative Dreams, we were able to secure an Elsa character, who was awesome with the kids, took pictures, and participated in all of the games with them. The cake was amazing; I didn’t even realize we’d be getting such a nice themed Elsa cake and centerpieces. Debbie and her team just took care of it.
The day of the party, we only had to bring the drinks and paper goods we wanted to provide for the adults (they took care of ordering the pizza). Debbie gave me the option of having everything delivered to her home prior to the party as well, which I thought was awesome. They suggested that we bring a thumb drive with pictures of the birthday girl which played as a slide show on a large screen during the whole party. Very nice touch.
Debbie and her staff could not be warmer or better at what they do. The kids and parents alike were raving about the party, and I’ve received several follow-​up notes from our guests to say thanks for such a great time.
It ended up being quite expensive with the upgrades we selected and extra children we invited, but the basic packages for 10 kids are not unreasonable in my opinion.

I threw a birthday party for my daughter here recently and we had a great time! From start to finish, my husband and I were so impressed by the staff, the space and the party. The minute we stepped in, Debbie gave me a big hug and made us feel very welcome. She and her staff had everything planned out perfectly. I booked the party without seeing the space, so I called with lots of questions and concerns. Debbie and Molly answered all my questions patiently and made me feel comfortable with my decision to book with them. I’m so glad I did! We had a petting zoo theme and Debbie came up with a fun way to sing and introduce them. It’s been a few weeks since the party and my daughter still talks about the animals when she hears the song. Even when some of our guests were running a little late, Debbie managed to work around it seamlessly.
Most kid birthday parties are pretty straightforward, but I think Creative Dream Parties goes the extra mile to make their parties special. There were a lot of thoughtful elements at the event like a poster with my daughter’s picture on it, little goodies for the kids, bubble machine, etc. I highly recommend them!

I recently hosted a birthday here and it was amazing. The pricing is reasonable compared to all the going rates in NYC to host a kid birthday party. Debbie is a pleasure to work with. She thinks of everything. They entertain the kids from start to finish. I forgot to mention to her that my son has special needs but after interacting with him she figured it out and made sure that the event didn’t overwhelm him. He even hugged her on his own will. That says alot because he doesn’t hug just anyone especially someone he just met a couple of hours before his party. I can’t wait to be able to host another party here.

We’ve done two parties here. Last September my daughter had the Princess/​Pirate Treasure Hunt party. Then when it came time to have a party for my seven year old son, he remembered Creative Dreams and wanted to have his party there as well.
I can’t say enough good things about this place. We’ve both thrown and attended a lot of NYC birthday parties over the years. This place is my favorite. It doesn’t have the bells and whistles of a party held at the Intrepid or the Natural History Museum, or any of the other fabulous party locations in the city. It is really just two good size connecting rooms, with plenty of space for the kids to run around. What I think makes this place so special is how caring and warm Debbie is. I mentioned that my son loves Pokemon, and she suggested doing a Pokemon theme that my son adored. Everything was Pokemon, from the decorations to the favors — he said the cake, which was done in Pokemon colors and had an amazing picture of Pikachu on it, was his favorite part of the party. I told her that my son has special needs, and she did everything possible to accommodate him. When five extra people RSVP’d the day before the party, she told me this is why she buys extra items. She even game him a little stuffed Pikachu at the end of the party.
And she really works with you to make the party individualized to the child. They have themes, but unlike a lot of places, if you want to depart from the packages, she’s happy to do so. My son wanted to do the carnival theme, because he loves carnival games, but then he also wanted to do some races. So she suggested having a potato sack race and egg and spoon race at the beginning, then moving into the carnival games. Anything he wanted, she was willing to do. She was committed to making this party the most special day of his life, and he told me afterwards that it was.
You should know that this is a more old fashioned party place. At my daugher’s party they played duck duck goose and parachute games. At my son’s party they did the chicken dance and the limbo. It’s really nice that they focus on the kids being kids and having fun.
In addition to the attention to detail, the other thing that makes this place great is that they have a fabulous ratio of staff to kids. At some of the parties that I’ve thrown over the years, I’ve had to run around the whole party doing much of the supervising. That can be all kinds of stressful when you have 20 4-​year olds running around the place. At Creative Dreams, there is a separate (connecting) room for the parents. We actually served sandwiches and wine at both parties, so the parents had a mini-​cocktail party while the kids were kept entertained. Everyone kept complimenting us on what a great party it was, and how much everyone, kids and adults, enjoyed it.

My daughter’s 3^rd birthday was absolutely incredible. We had a Cinderella/​Toy Story carnival themed party at Creative Dream Parties. Just through emails/​phone calls alone I felt as if Debbie and I wanted the same thing for my daughter’s party. We wanted her to have the best time with her friends. Debbie is as kind in person as she is on email. She helped me create the PERFECT party for our little girl and her friends. Every little detail was executed wonderfully. My guests kept complimenting me on the party and all the fun they and their kids were having. I told them it was all Debbie and her team. I just showed up ready for some fun. The cake was made perfectly, not too sweet and the Cinderella design was adorable. Debbie is so accommodating and I couldn’t have asked for a better party planner, team, location and memory. I can’t say it enough, CREATIVE DREAM PARTIES IS THE PERFECT PLACE FOR FAMILY FUN. Thank you Debbie.

My son had his birthday party (star wars theme) at Creative Dream Parties, and it was definitely a dream come true for him — he and all his friends had an amaaaazing time, Debbie and her staff were wonderful with kids, extremely organized and had non stop activities. The party space is clean and updated and was really well decorated with my son’s favorite colors, a personalized poster and the star wars theme. My son pulled me aside mid party and excitedly said «this is the best party I’ve ever had!»
