If you’re like me and you like your food with history mixed in it, you’ll find this organization really interesting. They host combination lectures/food tastings with titles like: «Candy Bars and the Birth of the American Spirit;» «Gastronomy and Gluttony in Early Modern China;» and«The History of Chop Suey in America.» They are a membership organization with a very reasonable annual fee that gets you a subscription to their informative newsletter: Their web site has a lot of great links to food history resources. Truly something for the archivist with a growling stomach.
