Ordered a tres Leches cake from here on the phone they took all the info down asked me how to spell the names and everything. When I went to pick up the cake you would think the name would already be on the cake since they asked for the info beforehand. They asked that I write down the names on a napkin while there I wrote it out exactly as I wanted and they still got it wrong! I asked for the lady to fix it she said she couldn’t I asked for a discount and she said no! Really?! This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced and if I hadn’t absolutely needed it I would have left the cake right there.

the «stars» say it all, & yes it’s true «I’ve experienced better». Based on other ppl’s reviews I decided to give this place a try because Tres Leche Cake is my favorite, & hey I wanted to treat myself. So yes it’s true the slices are pretty good in price $ 2.50– now that’s a good deal! — but wait not so fast… it may be worth the price. It looks pretty much like the pics that ppl previously posted pero… the cake was «too» soaked in milk which may the cake seem loose, like it needed more butter in the batter. I love to bake so I would know… I think it lacked that. Overall, the frosting is like a sweet rich whipped cream with a lil taste of strawberry which is kool. But I think I may stick to Malecon’s Tres Leche Cake, unless I’m really desperate then I’ll hop out on 207^th street on the train and take another bite.

My friend recommended this place to me and suggested that I try their «Tres Leches» I tried it for the first time and I am instantly hooked. It is very delicious and I wish I had another one right now. After tasting their Tres Leche I decided that this is the only place that I will get this particular dessert, NO WHERE ELSE.
A Piece of Tres Leche is only $ 2.50. For something so DELICIOUS to be that price in NYC, that is a Great Deal.
For a place to get 5 stars from me, it is definitely worth checking out.

THE BEST TRES LECHES you will ever taste in New York probably in the entire country too! Haha. Seriously people I am not kidding the cake is extremely tasty along with all of their other desserts. Do not be fooled by all of the hype that Bizcocho De Colores has because their cake consists of rum which takes away from the taste from the cake and is not appropriate for serving to children. This is what makes D’ Lillian Bakery so great because not only is the cake of superior taste and quality, but so simple that everyone can enjoy.
Their Tres Leches is so addictive that after eating a bite into it and finishing the cake, you will be more than tempted to buy another cake. It is THAT good. Unlike most Spanish restaurants that sell Tres Leches at a pricey cost, D Lillian Bakery is so affordable!
A piece of Tres Leches will cost you a mere $ 2.50! Incredible for a cake and desserts that hold such high quality and taste.
I HIGHLY recommend this place to all.
