The receptionist/​office manager is completely unhelpful. She wasted a lot of my time giving me a run around because I had Medicaid. Completely discriminatory. On the day before my appointment, I decided to call to confirm my appointment (usually offices give you a courtesy call and of course I didn’t get one) and the same woman told me that now, I needed all my dental records for my first appointment. Where was this information 2 months ago when I made the appointment? I hung up enraged because of so much time wasted and all the trouble I had to go through to make this «consultation» appointment. Don’t go here if you want to be treated like a human being.

Dr. Kaplan is the best Periodontist in the Entire New York State. His Central Park South office is gorgeous and his staff is so nice. I’ve even bumped into a few broadway stars while waiting in his waiting room. He has exceptional knowledge of the field. 7 thumbs up!

Do not use this fake dentist.
Showed up early at 715am for my 730am appt. that I booked 2 weeks+ in advance. Was told to wait, outside the office, in the hallway. When 730am rolled around, the door was still locked and the administrative woman had left the office. Finally when she returned, she told me to leave and that I did not have an appointment despite the fact that I had a CONFIRMED zocdoc appointment (I showed her the email). She said «I didn’t make that appointment,» as if that absolved her office of all responsibility. Then she told me to leave and then got on her phone and started talking to a friend. She then ignored me till I left.
